First time here after a few several bad cuts at another place. The staff wear very friendly and asked clarifying questions about the cut I wanted. I was very happy when I went to pick my boy up and had the exact cut I wanted. I will be returning for future cuts.

DISABLED PERSON'S PLEASE READ My Jack Russell loves attention. I'm unable to walk him so his nails have always been an issue. I've tried to clip his nails, but I can't hold him or secure him enough to clip his nails. So a monthly pop-up on my Calendar reminds me to take Malibu in for his Mani-Pedi . Since he's not a run around in the dirt kind of a dog, he doesn't need regular bathing. But our friends here offer a nail clipping offer you a choice of using regular animal nail clippers (which can sometimes leave nails that scratch) or the use of a Dremel tool for a smooth rounded finish - OR BOTH !!! There's a very nominal fee, and he seems to not mind the clipping - he enjoys all the friendly faces looking at him.

My fourth dog (Boston Terrier) trip having my Dogs nails trimmed with the owner Jessica. About two months ago she had to close down due to corona-v9. She took my name & number and stated she would call me once they reopened. That never happened. I had to call make a appointment to have my dogs nails trimmed. So on the date of my appointment I drove my dog 20 miles to our appointment for curb side pick up. My dog is a nervous dog who wears a muzzle to protect the nail groomer. So I called to let them know we were outside so they can get my dog and reminded them don't forget the muzzle. The owner Jessica came out and rudely said I refuse to do your dogs nails. I don't take vicious dogs and I don't see you have a appointment. I explained to her I did I made it two days ago. She said I don't have a card on you? Well she doesn't have a card on my dog because my dog only gets her nails clipped. She said I won't do your vicious dog I am so far behind in dog grooming - she did not apologize in anyway how rude and not nice. I was only going to her because she was a small business. I hope she looses her business and goes into bankruptcy.

This grooming shop was recommended by a coworker. I had to start taking my Yorkie puppy somewhere to get used to being groomed. I was nervous because I didn't want him to have any traumatic experiences. He is never scared to go and always comes out smiling and happy. His haircuts look great and he smells great!

Love this place! My dog Shirley and I have had some more than unfortunate luck when it comes to finding a good dog groomer. We recently moved to Sacramento and were dreading finding a new groomer to stick with. Fortunately The Pawsh Dog is the first place we tried. The employees were very friendly and helpful and Shirley came out of her haircut happy, wagging and super cute!

They did an awesome job with my schnauzers! Will definitely go back! I dropped my pups off at 1230 and they were done by 430. The other dogs I saw them work on looked great as well.

Posh dog gave our dog Katie the cutest lamb cut last weekend. She was so happy and has been prancing around ever since we brought her home. Every where we go she gets lots of compliments and extra pets. She is super soft. Best of all they take great care of her and treat her like one of their own. This is our 4th time and we are definitely going back. Love this shop!

I have an 80lb GSD. He sheds A LOT, EVERY. SINGLE. DAY! They do such a great job de-shedding him. They bathe, brush, do a blow out, file his nails, clean his ears... basically the works. They also give him a decorative bandana, which is the cherry on top of it all. His coat is very soft and smells amazing after he's finished. He doesn't shed very much for a few weeks after. I'd highly recommend their services. Staff is super friendly and always accommodating to my schedule.

I love the Pawsh Dog! The whole staff is great. I have been bringing my pomeranian Bentley here for years now and wouldn't even think of going anywhere else. He use to be so nervous about getting his nails trimmed at other groomers but at the Pawsh dog its like he doesnt even notice he is getting it done. Not to mention how cute he looks after his hair cut too!

My handsome Koti after a couple hours at The Pawsh Dog!

Whatever black magic that is, I can only recommend coming here to groom your dog. Of course, since we were here. We also gave Max a bath with some oatmeal shampoo for his dry skin. You really can't beat the great tubs and having all the soaps towels, etc., that you need available. We never use the dryer because by the time I'm done Max is already so traumatized and he dries pretty fast once we walk around the block a little bit. The pricing is also very reasonable. The bath and nail trim was only $28 for Max, who is about 78 pounds. I'm just giving you the weight because I know a lot of places charge by weight and that will give you an idea for your own doggie. Parking is a bit trickier now that they've put in the new bike pass, but we usually find the parking space around the corner pretty easily. Thank you Tony!

There's never a wait so when we come for a nail trim we're in and out in 5 minutes. My dog doesn't like people touching her paws, but Tony is so calm and gentle she relents and lets him do his work. I also appreciate the bathing situation. I could give her a bath in the tub at home but it hurts my back and I end up with water and fur everywhere and a wet dog who wants to get on the couch immediately. They give you everything you need to bathe your dog and towels and a blow dryer to get them dry before you leave the shop. I also think the prices are GREAT and very fair. I'm so glad we have Splash Hound in our neighborhood!!

When I first called to make my appointment, I…read morespecifically explained that I have a 3-month-old puppy who has not yet received his rabies vaccine. I was told that this would not be a problem because they do not require puppies to have a rabies shot for grooming. When someone called later to confirm my appointment, I asked again to make sure. I clearly stated that this was my puppy's first grooming appointment and that he still had not received his rabies vaccine. Once again, I was assured that it was not an issue. However, when I arrived for the appointment, I was turned away because my puppy didn't have a rabies vaccination. This was incredibly frustrating because I had already made special arrangements at work, took my lunch break later than usual, and coordinated with my daughter to pick up the puppy after his appointment. If this is your policy, that's completely understandable--but I should have been told that from the beginning, especially after asking twice. Instead, I wasted my time, rearranged my day, and left feeling very disappointed. Better communication and consistency with customers would have prevented this entire situation.
