There are some craft businesses, seasonings, and more on display. I try to swing by once a week to try something new.

It is not a large operation like the state-run Atlanta Farmers market. It is set in the Aberdeen Shopping Center Parking lot, behind the Bank of America at the corner of Northlake Drive and Hwy 54. It is well shaded with a lot of trees. Beautiful spot. 9 AM - 1 PM Wednesday and Saturday. You will also find multiple baked goods, spices, ready to eat foods plus food carts, beef, chicken, pork, honey, apples, cakes, boiled peanuts, flowers, mushrooms, ravioli, tamales, and a few crafts such as mine. I must disclose that I set up there on both days. I sharpen knives, scissors, and garden tools. On Saturday there are typically 50 or more vendors. Wednesdays about 15. (Me included) Still lots of produce and baked goods on Wednesdays. Really nice people - I've been there for two months+ and have yet to hear a harsh word or disparaging remark. The customers are great as well. Dogs and children are welcomed.

They make their own salsa and boiled peanuts They do have pink pineapples in the fridge along with exotic fruits like star fruit, rambutan, pink and yellow dragon fruits. I believe plantains as well. The owner or cashier told me they source locally for all their items and support the community. She even share they sell locally made doggie treats by the young ladies in the photo beneath it. Cost was close to $800 for 2 people + lunch/dinner expense. It was probably a 3.5-4 star experience. Spa: Was my favorite part. Services and staff were great and everyone was friendly. I got the massage, body scrub and reflexology. Although I found the spa a bit cramped. On Saturday the waiting area was crowded. Who wants to sit should shoulder to shoulder in a robe. They really need a larger reception area and waiting area to make it more serene. In the waiting area the receptionist sits at a tiny checkin table. She should be at a reception booth in my opinion. Inn: Think bed and breakfast. Nothing fancy but clean and nice. Not a 5 star hotel. Breakfast: Was great. You can select from eggs, omlet, French toast and they also had fruit and fresh juices Tea time: Tea time is 4-5p at the farmhouse restaurant. It leaves much to be desired. As another reviewer mentioned it is basically frozen appetizers and potato chips. You know how Costco sells that frozen mini quiches? Yup that's it. It would be sooooo easy to improve upon this! Overall serenbe is a cool place. It's definitely like no place I have been before. Lots of walking and hiking and nature. But they can easily improve upon the experience. It's a high price point and some improvements would certainly help. Add some street lights! The parking lots are so dark you can't see your own two feet. It's dangerous. The tent may be small , but it's packed with high quality, locally grown products. The fresh fruits and veggies were beautiful, and the potatoes were nearly perfect- without blemishes I often see at the grocery stores. It takes me forever to pick out the best potatoes when I'm at the grocery store. They also offered fresh meats raised without pesticides, along with delicious canned jellies , local honey , and huge watermelons that reminded me of the ones I remember from childhood. A really good healthy summer treat! Note: veggies such as cabbage, greens and tomatoes , peaches pears , watermelon and fresh flowers , eggs , beef and honey are harvest on site . But specialty items , such as ; soaps , sea moss and jams come from regional makers ... just to name a few things. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. One team member even took a moment to thank everyone out loud for supporting local farmers, creating a warm sense of community and appreciation. That made me so happy! It's something that's been lost in this world - appreciation. Handicap parking is located right outside the main entrance, in front of the tent . Make note ; overall parking is very limited . I definitely chose the right time to go. And the lot of gravel , so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes ( especially the ladies ) since the ground is uneven . You will not like wearing heels . Some ladies had baby strollers , it's ok , but expect it to be a little bumpy. If you want great products and want to support local farmers I would definitely suggest Atlanta Harvest . As we were walking through we wanted seeded yellow watermelon. As we're standing at the booth another gentleman walked up to help us and said that he had some. He told us to drive up and over to his booth. Great gentleman and really appreciated talking with him. His name is Walter and gave us a good deal on the watermelons. We ended up leaving with 5 of them. Two yellow, three red ones and they were very good. We'll definitely be going back for vegetables and possibly some plants, as they had a nice variety of those as well.

We went on a Saturday afternoon (the market closes at 3 PM), and strangely, it felt empty. There's no public restroom. If you need to go, your best bet is to find a nearby restaurant and buy something to use their bathroom. If you choose to walk, be prepared for strong smells and scattered trash. There's a plant nursery tucked away in the back with beautiful flowers, but unless your car is right there, good luck carrying a big pot back. That being said, the produce is fresh, local, and often better in price and quality than what you'll find in the supermarket and other grocery stores. You might find tropical fruits and vegetables not found anywhere else.
