It comprises of a farm with goats and llamas (goats you can pet, llamas you can view from a distance). There's also peacocks and roosters that roam free. There's also a friendly dog and cat around too. Like cars? There are two beautiful 1930s-era cars in the garage! There are also two shops- one is the soap factory that also sells herbs, and misc health products. The soaps come in a variety of shapes and sizes and are made with goat milk. I left with 3 of them, and will be giving some away as gifts! Next door is the antique shop that also sells ice cream and jams. Upstairs is an AMAZING model train setup, the attention to detail is incredible! 13 years in the making and I'm not surprised. The owners also let club members bring their own trains to put on the track as well. Additionally, there's a train that runs through the farm but it wasn't while we were there. $2.75 per person for the train. If you haven't been, I highly recommend stopping by! It is a really cute place! Very nice and clean restaurant. The sweet tea was properly brewed and perfectly sweetened. I had the Friday special, Cajun Pasta. It has shrimp, chicken and andouille sausage. Included with pasta was a couple slices of garlic butter bread. It was seasoned well and was delicious. One of the staff came over and told us due to the numerous takeout orders, they were behind. We found this strange because we were there minutes after they opened and the other couple had received their meal. After waiting 1 hour, we had enough and were standing up to leave when our meals arrived. The orders were all mixed up and 3 sides were missing. In my last visit, the Mac and Cheese was very good. On this visit, they were cold with cheese shreds sitting on top. They were taken back to the kitchen and microwaved. This turned them into a complete, uneatable pile of mush with a foul-tasting cheese oil slick on top. The owner came over and once again, we heard "sorry" and he used the take-out orders as the excuse. We spoke to the server and told her we wanted them to comp the meals. Off she went to speak with the owner. During this time, the couple sitting behind us were talking and he mentioned he has had his sandwich many times from many places and this one was the worse one he had ever had. The manager came over again and offered to buy us all desert. We thought at least he was trying but when we tried to order any of the 4 different types of cheese cake they offer, we were informed they had been out of them for 3 days. She came back and said we would receive a 15% discount which was an insult due to the food and service. I asked to see the manager again and I talked him into a 50% discount after hearing "sorry" about 8 times and the take-out excuse again. This is the first restaurant I have ever had to barter with the owner over lousy meals. From other reviews, I am glad many other people have had a positive experience, but after giving them a second chance, none of us will be going back.
