What a cute spot in Parkland! Dear Olivia has a large and versatile menu, along with cocktails and…read morewine options. There is plenty of parking in a charming plaza, and the restaurant sits right on the lake with beautiful fountain and water views. The restaurant itself is very nice, with great lighting, cute tables that each include their own personal TV, a stylish bar area, and plenty of seating both indoors and outside. Our server was great. I believe his name was Felipe or Philip. The food was also very good. Chips and Guac: Thin, crispy chips that were not overly salted. The guacamole was fantastic, with fresh pico mixed in and a true guacamole taste, not just mashed avocado. Pomegranate Chicken: My friend ordered this and loved it. It was served over couscous with a dipping sauce on the side. All of the flavors worked really well together. Steak Tips: Cooked perfectly and served with a salad. My other friend really enjoyed this dish. The meat was tender and flavorful. Kids Meal: Not pictured, but the chicken tenders came with fries. The chicken was grilled, which I thought was a great option. The fries were a hit with both the toddler and mom, who happily snacked on them too. I had a glass of Pessimist wine after asking for a recommendation for something slightly sweeter. It was the bartender's suggestion. It was just okay for me. I did not find it sweet, but compared to a drier red, it was definitely smoother and softer in taste. We really enjoyed our visit and spent some time walking around outside afterward. Such a cute spot, and we would definitely return.

I came here for mother's day lunch and unfortunately I was disappointed. The first thing that…read morestood out was how much seating was available for Mother's day. Usually a restaurant like this would be packed. Once we got to our table there were flys everywhere. I think we saw about 5 of them on the table or against the window. The staff was actually nice and they did move us to another seat that had less flys, but I still saw one or two after eating. The food itself was ok. I got the fried chicken spicy sandwich and the chicken was not crispy and the fries were a little soggy. My wife got the terriaki tocos which were decent but the side salad was a little underwheling being that is was just pure lettuce. While the staff was very friendly, I can't recommend this place. The price was a little more than I would expect for the caliber of food and the flys are a big turn off. I saw bluelights throught the resturaunt, so I it seems like they are aware of the issue.

They make their own beers here and they are fresh, clean and crisp. The Grizzly red ale is my favorite beer. Well made espresso martini with baileys and kahlua. The pretzel bites with cheese and mustard sauce was very tasty. I also recommend the volcanic shrimp appetizer. The interior bar has a large wrap around seating area. There is other seating like high tops and booths. Happy hour is offered with discounted drinks. The bar staff has service with a smile. They also make very nice drinks. Plus, are very good at what they do.

Options were burger, pasta, tenders or Mac n cheese. For appetizers we tried their pretzels and calamari and were happy with both choices. Their Caesar salad was bomb, very fresh and nice dressing flavor. You can add your choice of protein. Burger was good as well, nicely cooked and good flavor. Pizza was a bit disappointing. They have different soups depending on the day. Today's was tomato, surprisingly good. You can add bread for $1 (bread and butter were yummy). Now dessert is where they had me at. We chose their creme brulee and oh la laaaaa. Delicious. I did feel some menu items were overpriced but overall good experience today.
