Packy' has been a staple in my neighborhood since I was a little girl. Now as an adult with my own family, everyone loves eating there! Famous award winning wings? Well not tonight, unfortunately! First my daughter's fried pickles came out & the pickles were dry, over cooked & they just looked like days old food reheated. Then we got the wings ... smelt wonderful!! Again, they looked dry & reheated. My daughter's wedge salad had the smallest scoop of bacon. Overall, we had our first bad experience. I don't know if the chef changed how they're cooked or if the ingredients changed. PACKYS PLEASE FIX THIS!!! We can't lose the only place around with amazing wings! read more

A solid spot for beverage and a hang. My gal wanted to meet up after work for a happy hour drink. I suggested Packys as we had never been there. We got there at about 7 and something seemed off at first. We walked in to the score of a Harry Potter movie blasting. It turns out we picked music trivia night. It was actually kinda nice as we both are kinda good at it. The bartender got our drinks over right away. It was a full bar but the crew was on top of things. We hung out for a couple hours, guessing correctly on many songs, and enjoying the happy vibes here. It's in a good spot and is supposed to have decent food, maybe we will try that next time we are back. read more

What an absolute pleasure to go to the West Packys. The food was spot on and the feeling was exactly what I wanted. I had the mushroom swiss burger and the buffalo chicken sandwich. The burger outranks the buffalo sandwich in my eyes. I would suggest that they not put french fries in the same container as the sandwich when taking out because the fries were not good and I was super stoked to have the curly fries. We loved our entire experience here! We came on bingo/karaoke night and it was so much fun! The food and drinks are awesome. We got all patron margaritas, fried pickles, wings, and a tuna melt. The food was totally incredible. I absolutely loved my tuna melt and ate it all. My boyfriend said his wings could have been crispier since we asked for them extra crispy. My husband came in to pick up our order this past weekend and received less than ideal service. Upon arrival, he was ignored and had to seek help to pick up his order from three different areas. Once he arrived home, we found that the two desserts we ordered (cookie and brownie) were completely frozen--brick hard. The Jack Daniel wings were soggy and the sauce had all sunken to the bottom of the tray. It was too runny and should have been reduced more. We had to put it in the oven for about 40 minutes, flipping halfway through to get the flavor to come out. If I was up for cooking, I would've done it myself but to pay a restaurant for frozen, undercooked food is ridiculous. The eggrolls were good and that's why I'm giving an additional star, however, we won't be back. read more

We happened upon this pub by accident on classic car night and we're so glad we did! Awesome staff, patrons, burgers, fries and drinks. We returned for bingo night and had just as much fun! Packy's supports their community, and we really appreciate that. My family and I have been coming to Packys since it opened in the 90s. It's had a couple changes in management and for a while it got a little bit rocky but it's right back up there again as far as food and service for a local establishment. Many people come with their families, sports teams, single people and groups of friends. The food is always decent for the bar Food that you would get at such a place. I think they have the best chicken wings in the West Boca area for sure.They always have sports on the tvs, car shows, karaoke, trivia night and special events as well. There are pool tables, darts, a bar area, high tops on one side and family style seating with booths on the other. Plus they have a big garage style door that they open up and have a few tables for seating outside or people with dogs or anyone who smokes. try the chicken wings, fish and chips, Packy burger, Buffalo chicken salad or really just about anything on the menu is good. When she returns with the 14oz "pint" she sees that we have a free-menu-item coupon, and she says "We don't take coupons on Fridays." What? WHAT?! It doesn't say that on the coupon, #1 (which we bought for a charity fundraiser). #2, the joint was empty, so this made-up-on-the-spot un-printed double-secret "policy" serves no purpose. We really should have just left right then and there, but I was starving, so I ordered a small dish. While we waited, she passed by on her way to the only other customers in the joint but paused to tell my wife "Favor of the day: put that away," indicating the menu. WHAT?!?! When the FRICK did my wife start working for you? When the frick did we agree to have the table set out the way you like it while we are served? We ate, left no tip, and are clearly never going back. Anyhow, I got the runs about 15 minutes later- serves me right for not having got up and left when she decided not to honor the coupon. My friends and I just visited Packys for the first time and my experience was unfortunately very poor. The ONLY HIGHLIGHT was our server, Gabby. She was the sweetest and most helpful. She was patient with us and even jamming out with us during karaoke. My poor rating is due to the bartender, Liz with the dark hair. She provided uncalled for attitude and service from the minute we sat down. It seemed as if it was almost due to racism or ageism. My friends and I come from the service and restaurant business and know that customer experience is crucial. Liz continued to then mock our group and make comments that were unnecessary. Extremely unprofessional and gave Packys a poor name. This was not the first bad review about her. It's been a while since I've stopped in. If you've never come to Packy's West you are missing out! This place is one of the most incredible bars in South Florida. Blue and White collar folks mingling at the bar like family setting all the BS of life aside and just enjoying good food and good drinks! I'm not sure who came up with the "Sam" boli, but if you want an incredible appetizer to start you off that's about as legit as it gets. Hands down the best wings in town! You find a crispier wing that's sauced up to perfection please let me know because these bad boys are competition worthy! There are plenty of bars that can pull off decent food and good drinks.... Put that together with an incredible staff and you got Packy's West! Krystal literally sets the BAR when it comes to experienced, professional, makes you feel like family bartenders! FIRST LOOK AT THE MENU -----SEEMED GROSSLY OVERPRICED. We eat at the Ale House on Glades all the time and the value is really way better than this "joint"...and a "joint" is what it is. The place has a feeling of just being dirty. Smells od stale beer etc. Bathroom was disgusting. Customer base seems to be a lot of alcoholics and drunks. I have been there a few times now and so far I have gotten the 10 piece wings, the burger a few times, and more recently the buffalo chicken sandwich. So far everything has been great with the food. The buffalo shrimp is a great appetizer to get to pass the time. The wings are great but on the pricey side so I switched to the burger and it did not disappoint. They have specials everyday of the week and on Mondays they have buy one get one free burgers which is great. I went last night and got the buffalo chicken sandwich with blue cheese and it was great. I have been going to Packys for over 20 years. I first heard about them when the owners son and his friends joined the flag football league (Boca Flag Football) which I help run. They have been a sponsor for Boca Flag Football for at least 20 years even though his son aged out of the league. The food is amazing and there is always a good time to be had. The owner, Mike, is one of the nicest guys you can meet and is a big supporter of the community and is always willing to lend a hand. His staff is amazing as well and they always have a smile on their face. Meh, I used to come here over a decade ago and it's definitely gone downhill since then. This is definitely just your traditional dive, but I have no desire to come back. I came for lunch, yet it was so dark and dismal inside. Everything felt kind of dirty and sticky. I kept it sort of safe and ordered sliders. They weren't bad at all, but they weren't great. They were a little bland actually. My grandma needed a to go box for her sandwich, and when we were paying, a bunch of bugs swarmed to her to-go box. Kind of skeeved me out. Packy's is off the beaten path. Sure it's on a main drag, but it's away from the action and buried beneath residential hell in a tiny strip mall. I've been to Packy's a handful of times and it's always been a blast. It's dark and loud like a bar should be, and they have an intercom system... I don't know why, but it was once used to announce to a party full of my coworkers that I'm a "tiger" in the sack which got me roars and meows at work for six months. Another time, I watch my best friend throw up on t hier front side walk in the shape of a butterfly. And, once I spent the entire night in a car in a parking lot just making out with some guy in town from the army.. Ah... college.... wouldn't have been the same without Packy's. Also.. it's a nice square bar with lots of room for groups, the drinks aren't over priced, and they have a couple of pool tables. I really want to tell you more stories but I can't remember them.
