Stopped by after our trip to see some lighthouses. Local establishment and the staff was great. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and vast menu. Had the wings, loaded fries, lobster bisque. And the walleye. The loaded fries were a hit. They were plentiful and had very good toppings. The lobster bisque was a little too fishy and wine forward for our taste. The wings were dry. The walleye was very good. Nice crusted fish with asparagus and potatoes and a butter sauce. Overall good spot to stop by for a good meal if you're in the area.

This rustic place had a large bar with plenty of outdoor seating as well. The menu had a New American type of cuisine with lots of intriguing choices. The service was appreciated and the food came out quickly. Two appetizers were ordered, the crispy Brussel sprouts ($13.95) and tuna nachos ($17.95). The Brussel sprouts were flash fried with grated parmesan and a balsamic drizzle. These had good flavor with plenty of parmesan. There was a ton on the dish too. I would have liked more of a balsamic drizzle present and a tad crispier. The glaze was the key. The nacho had diced fresh tuna, house-made wonton chips, green onions, pickled carrots, and onions along with an avocado crema. These were not bad. There were jalapenos that appeared fresh and the best item on the dish. The tuna was a little bland by itself, but when combined with everything, it was okay. The house-made wonton chips were crispy and flavorful too. Will I go back? Most likely.

Food was absolutely delicious & filling!! I had their smokehouse baked mac cheese with pork, and partner had jalapeño popper smash burger, it was very great he said! & oh, we went in very close at their closing time and we appreciate the generous service from them very professional! Also the dining experience and take outs box/utensils are environment friendly! Their slice of chocolate flourless cake are AMAZINGGGG & worth the $10!!

This is such a great restaurant and bar. The location between two great Wineries is perfect. We enjoyed a late lunch. The food was delicious. We shared the Walleye tacos and the Mac and Cheese. Service was friendly and quick. We sat outside on the patio as the weather was wonderful but loved the ambiance of the inside. The bar is very inviting.

My husband and I were on vacation, visiting the various wineries along the Old Mission Peninsula Wine Trail, when we discovered The Peninsula Gill on Yelp. The setting is charming with a lovely patio area, and the staff was quite friendly. Not wanting a ton of food, we decided to share an order of the Chicken Pepper Jack soup, along the Mexican Corn Dip, and a Smash Burger. The soup stole the show! To be honest, I initially didn't think it sounded appetizing because I'm not a huge fan of pepper jack cheese, but much to my pleasant surprise, it was out of this world!! It was filled with huge tender pieces of chicken and pasta. Yum! The burger was excellent, too. The Mexican Corn dip was OK. It had a little too much cheese to our liking. I highly recommend you stop in the next time you're traveling along the wine trail.

Stopped here for lunch while winery hopping. Nice outside seating area. The food we had was very good. The Cherry Chicken salad was very tasty. Our server was pleasant.

one of the most disappointing meals I've had in a while. my friends and I started with the artichoke dip and while the dip itself was decent, the chips were super stale. we mentioned it to the waiter but they did nothing about it. I then had the burger which was one of the blandest most dissappointing burgers I have ever had. there was no flavor/seasoning, even ketchup could not redeem it. I was certainly not expecting excellence at this restaurant, but this was way worse than I could have imagined.

We initially booked Mission Table for our October 2025 wedding and ultimately decided to change our plans due to unforeseen life circumstances. From the beginning, communication was challenging. I had to follow up multiple times on basic planning questions -- like scheduling our ceremony rehearsal -- and often received delayed, vague, or conflicting responses. At one point, we were contacted to provide guest meal choices a full year before the event, which added to our growing concerns about how organized and prepared the team was. Barb, the event director, was difficult to communicate with and came across as unhelpful and inflexible. Madi, who was introduced as our main contact, seemed unaware of key details and unprepared to support us in the way most couples reasonably expect when booking a high-end wedding venue. When we ultimately let them know we'd need to cancel the event (six months in advance), their response was brief and dismissive -- no empathy, no effort to work with us, and no goodwill gesture despite our proactive and respectful communication. Looking back on the entirety of our experience with their team, we honestly feel like we dodged a bullet by not holding our wedding there. The venue is beautiful, and that's what initially drew us in -- but unfortunately, the lack of professionalism, warmth, and basic coordination behind the scenes was not something we felt we could trust with such an important day.

That being picky though, the place feels welcoming and is brightly lit and feels well cared for. I ordered the Pot Roast ($20). It's described as slow roasted with carrots and onions and mashed potatoes. It was fantastic. The meat was tender and delicious. the gravy was perfect without overpowering. The carrots and onions were a great compliment. Plus the real mashed potatoes were made to perfection. Smooth, yet still had the potatoness to the texture. The taste was one of the better mashed potatoes I've had in TC. I don't know what they do th their TC Cherry Coke, but it is spectacular. Lastly for dessert I got their Lava Cake ($7), it was fine, but disappointing after such a great meal. I don't know if it was from frozen or what. However the texture was a little off andvthe taste was only okay. I wouldn't get it again. The service was very friendly and super helpful. Overall a 4 1/2 star review. Since I have to round, I'm going to forgive the dessert and give a full 5 stars. Would I return? Absolutely. Especially if I'm craving Pot Roast.
