AMAZING SPOT! Nice little quaint spot with a near perfect staff! The ribs were fall off the bone and the garlic baked mashed potatoes were mouth watering. The pizza was so tasty and the dough had a nice fluff. We will be back at this hidden gem! ** Great iced tea!

For such a small spot, the food here is really solid. We visit the area a couple times a year and eat here at least once or twice during that time. The pizza and mussels are our favorites on the menu. That cream sauce on the mussels is addictive. Staff is quick and attentive, even during peak season. We will keep coming back over and over.

Great food and even better company. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was a little bit tricky to find, but Mike was a big help. He even made fantastic recommendations.

Wow!! Food was SO good!! Staying here at the resort and decided to go here on a whim. Sat outside with beautiful weather, and Mike gave us GREAT service with jokes and food/drink recommendations. Very attentive. Everything had SO MUCH FLAVOR!!! I had the whitefish and tried some of the lasagna and wow - 10/10 would recommend and eat again. Definitely stop here!!

Good option if you are staying at Shanty Creek. I had the personal pizza. Not the best pizza I've had but not the worst either

Pizza gets 4 stars. The rest of the menu looked great. Very friendly owner and staff. If we ski up here again we'll be back.

I have rarely given a 5 Star review, but the "Corner Bistro" in Bellaire is simply tremendous! We…read morewere running tardy for our reservations due to flooded roads, but the staff was very understanding. Placed at a cozy table indoors & bottled water arrived immediately. Our waitress smiled warmly as we opted for beverage orders. Just as I'm ready to go with the Oregon Pinot Noir, my eye catches a "Black Manhattan" on the cocktail menu. Well they set the fishing hook right into my cheek. Obviously I had to roll the dice. Huge drink garnished with Italian maraschino cherries. Brilliant Concussion! Simply delish! Okay, now on to their small plate listings. I opted for a Seafood pasta, speckled with shrimp, clams & a mussel or two - genius. Linda selected their sliced filet mignon, which you could cut with your fork - perfect medium rare. Also her salad serving was cleaned up with great enthusiasm. Our dear dining friends loved their choices also. Oh I almost forgot, Taylor's French Onion soup was over the top. The room was very pleasant with soft tones and lower ceilings. Now far from me being a wall flower, I inquired about the Chef. Waited for perhaps 15 seconds and simply strolled into the back of the house (kitchen) & asked to met the Chef. Taylor appeared around the corner with the look on his face like "hell's bells this guy didn't like my cooking!". WRONG! Completely caught off guard as I expounded about his creativity and presentations. Love this little gem in Bellaire. Have missed the Rowe Inn & Tapawingo over the years, but the 26 minute drive is SO worth it. Call them for reservations as the staff is limited, but attentive. Hope to met Maggie next visit. Plan to dine again next week

Nice lighting, outside area if you choose and just small bistro you should not skip!

Her warmth and friendliness was matched by the staff who made our dining experience so comfortable. We were promptly seated and received outstanding service. Portions were large and meals come with bread and a house antipasto salad. Our meals were exceptional. My wife had Chicken Saltimbocca and I tried Linguine with Salmon. Chicken was flavorful; salmon was perfect; the pasta was 4 star. The food was so good that we even ventured into a dessert (rare for us). We tried a lemon cake with glaze and VERY fresh strawberries; it was wonderful. A small restaurant that is a gem and well worth it. An outstanding dining experience. Exceptional food; the service and atmosphere were amazing.

This restaurant is definitely on the smaller side but it has such the cutest charm! I ordered the Salmon Piccata with a side of Caesar salad, and pasta with oil, garlic, and butter. The Salmon Piccata was perfectly cooked; however, I wish it had a tad more seasoning (maybe a tad more salt or simply lemon juice) since I truly had to rely on the capers for any acidity. The Caesar salad has to be one of the best I've ever had--it honestly had the punch of lemony boquerones. If you truly love anchovies, I highly recommend ordering it with some extra anchovies! Lastly, the pasta was just as expected, but it was still delicious! Pro tip if you order the salmon piccata: dip the pasta in the lemon and white wine sauce--you'll thank me later!

Last night, my son's flight was delayed and despite being packed, they were gracious enough to shift our reservations am hour later. And the food!!!! Always spectacular, and I get excited, to try their daily specials. We go nuts over their sweet breads or veal brains. None of these was on the menu last night. Instead, we had foie gras,, tuna carpacio, that was somehow unique, and the best we'd ever had, wagyu bavarette, octopus, and tiramisu. All set in the former TC asylum, with burrows and stone walls-- lots of nooks that make the busy place still feel intimate. Can't wait for the next visit!
