Rick prepped and painted the doors. They look incredible, have a smooth finish, and gave our kitchen a much needed facelift. We also contracted with Rick to paint the exterior of our home. I checked Yelp and saw that JB Construction had a good rating and reached out to them to help me finish up my kitchen. Jose was very responsive. We discussed the project and he came up with a reasonable price and got to work. They did a bit of everything, carpentry, tile, electrical, drywall, etc. Jose is also refreshingly collaborative. They did a great job and Jose stands behind their work. If I find anything that isn't quite right or got missed, he said he'll come take care of it (100% confidence in this). When my next round of improvements start, Jose will be the first contractor I reach out to. Highly recommended.

However, by October the epoxi coat started to peel off (they did a bad job griding off the preexisting material). Michael the owner was here in November and promised to fix it as soon as possible. Since nothing happened and they did not even email me, I posted a bad review here on Feb 2026. He called the next day asking me to please take it down and promised, again, to fix the problem. After an exchange of emails, he finally set the job for last Wednesday (April 29). They did not show up and never contacted me. The coating continues peeling off and, at this point, I am very skeptical they will ever come back to correct their failures.
