Super disappointing, because he's a nice guy. But the reality is, he will not come back to assist with issues...and there are always issues! Both gates he did at two of our properties have failed/rusted off...I would think stainless steel attachments might be key at the beach. Gates are lovely, the screws and attachments are the issue. We have a huge condo project that we were considering him for, probably not now.:(

He wrote a contract for a 2 section 19' wrought iron gate and another 12' single gate that were…read moresupposed to be installed in September 2025, but he left off a critical part of the gates and took them back to "fix" the problem. They were never reinstalled, and as a result of his negligence, my 17 year old dog was hit and killed on PCH just outside of the yard because the gates were not in place. We have sued him and won a $6500.00 settlement and are now in the process of collecting from him. He tried to contact us a few days ago wanting to "make things right" but when he was told that he would still have to pay for the court fees, he went into his dark place again. It's funny, but he claims to have no money, yet he lives in a nice house, and has 2 pretty new Chevy Pickups in his yard. He must have made the down payment using the money from the gates we paid for but never got installed. He's very elusive and if you do plan to have him build something for you, make sure you have an iron clad signed contract and DO NOT PAY HIM until everything is complete.
