He proceeded to quite literally, cut my big toe nail so short it immediately began to bleed. When I pulled back...HE STARTED LAUGHING. Then tried to scrub it with his brush. Cut the nail sideways and unfixable. The owner came over and apologized, said something to him and proceeded to tell me it would grow back he did the best he could to fix my previous pedicure, charged me $42 and we called it a day. TERRIBLE PLACE, do NOT recommend!

The also have messed up my shape two separate times. You can't go back to square once you round a corner... The vibes are good in there, but unfortunately there can be a slight language barrier at times, so maybe that's where the mixups come in. They have children pedicure chairs which is sweet, if you have a daughter this is probably a good spot. Wouldn't recommend for adults squeezing full sets in their schedule. The result isn't worth the wait, unless you're goin for basic nails on the thicker side (acrylic and gel, for reference.)

Catching a glimpse at the gorgeous horses, parking by all the blooming wildflowers, which smell incredible. The walk up the hill let me find a hidden secret garden filled with some type of morning meditation group. When I checked in for my hour signature massage, the hostess was pleasant, juggling a very busy day and still paying attention to continually restock used up amenities being used by guests. The waiting room and the tea room both had lovely snacks (the tea is made with four different satchels, but the peppermint was the only flavor I could pick out). Try the oatmeal cookie after your massage, you'll love it. I came with a large group and didn't get to fully enjoy every lovely amenity that was provided by The Spa. The pool might have been salt water, because it didn't have the harsh smell of chlorine. And I'll have to come back to enjoy drinks and hot tub time tucked away in the corner near a waterfall down the mountainside. Very romantic. Very decadent. The spa is nicely appointed for toiletries for women, plenty of products. The toilets in the locker rooms have fancy bidet seats! They called us ahead of time to find out what size robe and slippers we would need, but then they put the wrong size robe in my locker. I've never had a spa do that, usually they either put standard sized robes in lockers or ask you when you walk in. The robes were pretty nice. This isn't like a big spa complex where they have steam rooms and saunas, but they did have a couple of nice "chill" rooms including the waiting room that had fruit water and snacks (cut up fruit which looked good), and there is an aftercare room that they call the "tea room" where they served tea and cookies. We were staying at the hotel so not sure if you came here for a day spa experience, how it would be. I assume you could use the pool which is right nearby. The pool area is pretty nice, and they have two hot tubs. There were a lot of families though, which might be a minus if you are looking for an adult experience. I did feel like the check-in is kind of an upsell gift shop with $100 bathing suits and trying to sell you overpriced products.
