The web site has a Gentleman's Spa Day package. 5 star reviews and a phone call later, it was set up. Melissa thought of everything, it could not have been a more splendid experience. Herbal tea on arrival, one hour gentle massage from Don, a foot soak and a light lunch, manicure (his very first), pedicure (his feet never looked better) and facial from Melissa, Dad practically floated home. He loved every minute, was still floating 2 days later. As he wrote us: "It's luxurious, yes, but also therapeutic, a body healing. Medicare should include it." And I suspect he will be back. I travelled from the Bay Area to Cambria for a few days. We planned to visit Morro Bay for the afternoon and I discovered I left my skin care products home. No moisturizer nor eye cream. I called Serenity By the Sea in Morro Bay and explained my issue and asked if they had samples available to at least last me for four days. The woman who I spoke to was so kind. My husband and I stopped in for a couples massage and pedicures. We were helped by Melissa (owner who does pedis as well) and Melissa (massage therapist) and they were both awesome! The owner Melissa was very accommodating able to squeeze us in last minute, the pedicures were also top notch. The massage by Melissa was so needed, she worked out areas I didn't even know needed a little more TLC than others. I called this morning to see if I can do the 4 1/2 hour package but wasn't able to because she already had a party of 3. Melissa, the owner, had suggested that I do there hour massage and come in at noon. She later called me and said to come in at 11:30 and by the time I finished she would be able to to a mani pedi after. Great! After my massage from Jessica I had my mani and pedi by Melissa. Had a wonderful experience and services at this day spa. I came here on an annual girls weekend of which 10 of us descended on to this day spa. The owner worked with us and all of our different treatment request which ended up taking most of the day. Her accommodations were greatly appreciated. I had the joyful bliss spa package and it is appropriately named. Not only did I come out glowing after my facial, but everyone of my friends that had one also did as well. And it is so relaxing to have a foot massage included. My only complaint about this place that it's not closer to where I live. This place is PERFECT. I called in the afternoon in a holiday weekend and asked for their package for the same afternoon. They called me back promptly and I was so happy thy fit me in. I arrived to a beautiful cup of chamomile tea and a serene environment. I received the best massage I've had in a long time and I get them regularly. She was just so empathetic and fixed my woes. My facial was also amazing. Melissa fixed my skin up and did massage as well for my hands and calves and feet. She gave me great advice but did NOT try to upsell me which is the opposite of relaxing and I can never understand why businesses don't get that. You know those places that 6 or 7 stations, it smells like glue and fumes with noise everywhere...well, this place is NOT that way at all. While on vacation, I decided to treat myself to a spa day and came across this place on-line. I called in the morning and was able to make an appointment for the same day for a 30 minute massage, spa pedicure, and mini manicure. At $50, I thought the massage was very affordable, as well as the $25 manicure. The $50 spa pedi was a splurge, BUT it was also one of the best pedicures I've had. All of the treatments were great, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Melissa, the owner and the person who does the manis and pedis was very nice to chat with while I got my nails done. After four weeks of no improvement, I called and made an appointment with Jessica Holder. Jessica carefully listened to what was happening with my body. She explained her "plan of attack" and over 90 minutes addressed the issue. She did an awesome job!!! Her hands are very strong!! She checked in with me occasionally regarding pressure/pain but didn't interfere with my experience by talking a lot and she addressed my specific needs throughout the entire massage (not just for 5-10 minutes).
