I am started to feel sad, thinking I should have picked up something in city. In next 5 mins I see a beautiful rustic wooden farmhouse on the right. I just turned and went there to check what it is. It was this beautiful looking Heatherlea Farm Shoppe. I checked their website and they also have a cafe inside. It was like God didn't wanted me to sad for long and presented this Farm Shoppe. I went in there with mask on. They have proper safety protocols in place. It's a wonderful farm shop that has amazing looking meats, vegetables, fruits, sauces and many more stuff. Very clean and well presented. On the left side they have a cafe and they serve coffee, tea, soup, sandwiches, baked goods and more. I wanted to have soup, but they were sold out. So I got myself a cup of coffee, oatmeal raisin cookie, chocolate chip cookie and brownie. Everything was delicious and perfect. I really loved the coffee and brownie. Brownie was so damn delicious and decadent. They have big parking outside overlooking beautiful lush fields. This place is a gem. It was pouring out so we popped in for a hot drink. The tables were full but we sat on the stools at the window. We had turmeric lattes which were a bit too strong and chalky for me but hubby liked his. There is one washroom and it was clean enough. Great place to stop for a drink or quick bite.

Flies everywhere from the door opening and closing. You will be shewing them off your food. There is only one bathroom and the line gets quite long since people (read not patrons) come in to use this bathroom. They have many vegan options. There was a tofu bon mi and a tofu TLT sandwich. Both great, but don't come with anything. I also ordered a blueberry bar dessert and it was great. The lavender lemondade was a miss. Just yellow water. I will try them again for the plant based options.

The café is small with a few seats inside and more seating outdoors where it is primarily take out only. In terms of the menu, they offer a variety of caffeinated beverages, teas, cold drinks, pastries (cakes, cookies, brownies, muffins, scones), as well as breakfast (croissants/bagels) and lunch (hot dogs, sandwiches) items. My friend and I stumbled upon Community Café as we were walking along the main street of Elora. We decided to pop in for a beverage as we were killing time as we had a reservation for lunch elsewhere. Service is friendly and a bit slow, but there is only one staff there (I assumed the owner) who was making the beverages. The cute thing about this café is that you notice a wall full of dog pictures, all taken by the owner. I opted for the cold brew while my friend ordered the London Fog. Our drinks were made a reasonable time. The cold brew I had definitely was strong! Beware if you do have this beverage since the caffeine hits you after a few sips. Overall, cute small coffee shop with great coffee in Elora!
