And even though our gray cat, Dolce, didn't come out very much, she was just as incredible in caring for her and making sure she felt safe and comfortable. Wow... just wow! Backstory: Ironically I believe there's someone named Shauna who operates the website and Yelp(and does a prompt job responding), but John the caretaker is the one who's phone number is associated with the biz, and he is unable to be reached to line up appointments!! (I contacted them a year or two ago when we were considering using them. We didn't end up needing them, but when we tried them last week when we finally did, John did not decide to call us back.) Karen is the only pet sitter I've ever met who genuinely cares about all dogs - not just her own…read more She will treat your dog as if it is her own and will either take your dog in, or go to your house as often as you want her to. She has cared for my dog when I am gone for the past few years and she is 100% reliable and dependable. She always goes above and beyond what you ask her to do. For example, once time when she came over to watch my dog, she noticed the smoke alarm was beeping, so she on her own found the batteries and replaced it for me. She also always makes sure everything around the house is clean and she cleans the sink and bowl, etc. She keeps everything really tidy and organized. My dog feels so comfortable with her and loves her. What's an added bonus is, Karen specializes in old dogs and dogs that need medical attention. My dog is old and Karen is such a natural with her and has a great natural instinct on her to care for her and make her comfortable and happy. She even gets my dog to eat really well, better than I do! I want Karen to come over once in a while just to keep my dog eating and doing good! We have had dogs for the past 30 or so years, and we have gone lots of dog sitters in IL and AZ, and we have never found anyone as great as Karen. I definitely recommend her to anybody!

They also have an Instagram that they update frequently so we could check in on our babies. I usually get a lot of anxiety when I leave my dogs anywhere new, but I felt relatively at ease with my dogs here. I will definitely have my dogs stay again for daycare or boarding and will likely look into the training program as well.

How would they know what to do if they had never been to my apartment before? Randy (the owner) came to my apartment before the first visit and took copious notes about what to do. He asked that I buy a lock box on Amazon and place it somewhere in the garage of my building with my keys inside for the pet sitter. I'm used to giving my keys to my pet sitters, but this is actually pretty convenient because it means that I can get my key back right away when I come home. There have been a couple pet sitters who have been to my place, but Anna has been there the most. All of them post updates with photos that appear on the app that you can download on your smartphone (you also get an email copy of this as well). I feel like Anna has really gotten to know my kitty and I appreciate that she really seems to enjoy spending time with her. The other convenient thing about this pet sitter is that you can request the dates of your pet sits online and also you can pay for them with credit card afterwards.

They were able to get it out through endoscopy which was such a relief! They called me and updated me every step of the way and even asked about how my cat was doing (she had been in the prior week). The staff are always so sweet and understanding and I really feel like my pets are in the best hands with this team. I never feel rushed when I ask a lot of questions and that makes a huge difference when dealing with the stress and emotions of having a sick or injured pet.
