But unfortunately they can't be reached via the phone. I left a vm and waited an entire week and got no call back. Backstory: Ironically I believe there's someone named Shauna who operates the website and Yelp(and does a prompt job responding), but John the caretaker is the one who's phone number is associated with the biz, and he is unable to be reached to line up appointments!! (I contacted them a year or two ago when we were considering using them. We didn't end up needing them, but when we tried them last week when we finally did, John did not decide to call us back.) I'm glad others have good experiences. But that was not ours. ‍

But once we met John and Shauna, the owners, we quickly realized our fur babies were in the best hands possible. They were not only warm and welcoming but also incredibly professional. If you're a pet owner looking for a true 10-out-of-10 service, this is the company. Our pet sitter, Karen, was nothing short of amazing--so loving, so attentive, and so patient with our very needy black cat, Jax. She didn't just stop by; she stayed, hung out, and genuinely spent time with him. And even though our gray cat, Dolce, didn't come out very much, she was just as incredible in caring for her and making sure she felt safe and comfortable. Wow... just wow! We were floored by her love for animals. THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking such great care of the fur babies we love dearly. I would recommend this company to absolutely anyone. And honestly, anyone leaving anything less than a five-star review? Shame on you! These people love animals and treat your pets as if they were their own. Amazing, amazing, amazing! I always worried about leaving town and could not wait to get home even though our neighbors would stop in to check on our dog while we were away. Not any more now that we can count on Sabrina. From the very beginning when she sends you the questionnaire that includes all sorts of detailed questions so that nothing will be missing in case of need to the text message she requests and responds to once you've arrived home we know that leaving our dog in her care is something we can do without the slightest concern. When we are out of town she visits twice per day, walking Chili our lab/pit girl, and even taking her to the dog park! We joke that Chili likes it when we go out of town because she enjoys her visits from Sabrina so much! Sabrina is very knowledgeable about dogs as well. When Chili developed a strange skin problem that was not responding to anything from the vet Sabrina recommended adding an item from the kitchen pantry to Chili's diet and now about 2 months later the skin problem is gone. Sabrina is absolutely reliable, extremely organized and professional, very responsive to emails and texts, and just in general is an uncommon and highly valuable resource. I just don't encounter many people out there in the world who are as reliable and committed to their work as Sabrina. When we return home from a 2+ week vacation Chili is calm and happy. Not sure what else we could hope for...other than to be able to take Chili with us everywhere. In the meantime, Sabrina is a terrific resource, and we are very thankful to have found her. Having a very fragile, senior dog that required extra care made me nervous to leave him but Kimberly, our dedicated sitter, quickly eased my mind when she came to our house for her initial visit. She kept me informed of his status during her twice a day visits and I knew all was good. I appreciated their kind words when I reached out to cancel upcoming services due to having lost him and I immediately knew I had chosen the right company for pet sitting. Kathy took exceptional care of my cats Bo and Snowball last year while I was out of state for a…read moremonth. Bo is typically shy and hides in the closet but he took to her, left the closet and regularly interacted with her. She went out of her way to spend quality time with them daily. Her communication is excellent and she provided daily updates with pictures. Bo got sick while I was away, she took him to the vet and called me so I could speak with the vet for the entirety of the visit and know exactly what was going on. Afterwards she spent additional time with him daily to make sure he was improving and doing well. He doesn't like taking medication and she immediately took the initiative to buy meat to ensure he took the full course of his medication. Kathy was the only one I trusted to take care of my cats in my absence and she is still the only one I'd trust. A 5 star review doesn't give justice for everything she did and if I could I'd rate her higher.

I'm a very particular pet owner and worry a lot when leaving my pets -- you read so many horror…read morestories online and I've had a bad experience in the past. Amy was wonderful with my questions and I felt very reassured she would be responsible and very careful with doors when coming in and out. Amy has watched my dogs several times over the last few years and has done an excellent job. This last time, my little dog had a medical issue while I was gone and she contacted me immediately. I asked her to take my dog to the emergency vet, which she did and kept in contact with me throughout. Amy was right - it was a medical emergency and I really appreciate that she recognized there was a problem and contacted me quickly. She worked with the vet to coordinate pick up time after my dog was able to come home. I also spoke with the vet several times, who commented how impressed she was with my sitter and asked for her business info. I also have cameras on the outside of my house and could see the care with which she handled my little dog both going to and from the vet. On this same trip, my flight got delayed multiple times and at one point it looked like I might not make it home that day, and Amy kept in touch with me to ensure we had a plan if I wasn't able to get back. There are a lot of pet sitters out there but I feel like Amy is especially professional and responsible. She has taken pet medical care training and has a pet first aid kit she brings when caring for pets. She had left this here on her last visit and my dogs were so excited to see her when she came to pick it up -- always a great sign! My little dog loves everyone but my big dog is a bit more particular, but he loves her! I've also recommended True Blue to friends who have used her services and been very happy. I feel confident that my pets will be safe and well cared for by Amy / True Blue Pet and absolutely recommend if you need someone to watch your pets!
