And she sends me photos and videos of him because she knows how much I miss him. My current cat, an older gentleman who I adopted about a year and a half ago, has bonded with me in a very attached way, and a recent prolonged hospital stay had us separated for the first time. Lori has been taking care of pets (all cats) for close to ten years. I have a habit of adopting old cats. It's my thing. I travel quite a bit for work and Lori has taken care of my last 6 cats. One very large and old Siamese Cat became ill when I was out of the country. Lori handled everything until I could get back. Very happy with her services, I hired her to help me twice a week with giving subq fluids to my dog who absolutely hates subq fluids and would growl at me when I tried to administer it. While he still doesn't like subq fluids she has done a great job administering it to him and despite coming over to poke needles in him, he still loves her and gets really excited when he sees her! For the first time I had to travel for work and I was extremely nervous about leaving my beloved dog and cat behind as I never spent one night away from them - also, my dog is special needs. I was very disappointed!!! I came home from a 5 day vacation to something I was afraid of. My cats had not been feed for over 24hrs. I left directions on how to use our feeders and she even took a video. She said that she understood. Yet she still did it wrong and let my cats starve. Not only did they starve, she left a cabinet with plastic bags in it, wide open for my cat to chew on. She knew that my cat chews plastic, I specified to be sure to close the cabinet so it wouldn't be a problem. My cat ended up chewing the bags and vomited up plastic. She also left the light in the other room on. We specifically said NOT to. She also said she would send pictures every other day, which she did NOT! I should have known something was up when she wanted a check the first day. Every other place handles payment after. After contacting her about my concerns she would not give me any part of my money back. Instead she offered 10% off my next service. I WILL NEVER HIRE HER AGAIN! read more

Lori is the best! She was referred to me by a trusted friend so I had a good feeling going in but you never know. Needless to say, she has been a godsend for me. I interviewed for a new job and they wanted me to start immediately which put me in a bind in regards to my 13 year old Yorkie. She cannot be left alone for more than 5 hours or she will literally start throwing up so since I was going to be gone 10 hours a day I needed someone desperately. Lori came to my rescue! I have her come in and walk Mia every day Monday through Friday. She even gave Mia her prescription eye drops for me for several weeks when she needed them. She is 100% reliable and always texts me to let me know how things went at the visit. She's also available by text and responds timely. She really knows animals and I feel very secure that if anything were to happen with Mia when she was with her she'd know exactly what to do. Overall she is just very knowledgeable about both dogs and cats. On another note, one of my neighbors told me they saw her with Mia while I was at work one day and that Mia absolutely loved her and seemed so happy so that was very reassuring!
