    Mushroom panini

This little cafe is a gem. My friend suggested meeting here for lunch and I am really glad we did. We had 5 people which is quite a few for this place but everyone who came in after us had a place to sit. You order and then seat yourself. My husband had a pumpkin latte and I had an apple cider everyone else had water. Most of us had paninis. My friend had a salad which she said was very good. I loved my mushroom panini it was so flavorful and not at all dry which is my pet peeve with sandwiches. It's a very cute, small space. We really enjoyed our lunch and it's a place I would recommend.

A morning at Pewter Spoon, starting the day with some breakfast sandwiches, treats and coffee and if you're in the area you might want to start your day, this way, every day. What a cute place, tucked in with some other businesses, but laid out well enough to accommodate a decent morning rush, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It was busy, yet everything was moving efficiently, which I was very impressed by. The sandwiches we got were delightful, not too heavy, but not overly light either. The breakfast treat in the berry bar was the same way, and my wife loved the iced mocha she got. I think this is an obvious choice for a simple and clean breakfast. But don't go too far away, they do service throughout the day, and after the breakfast we had, I wouldn't hesitate to go back for lunch and more. Enjoy!

So to start, customer service and communication is key. My son and I ordered 2 classic egg sandwiches, there were only 2 orders prior to us(in line). There was a table of 6 already seated and ordered and their food was coming out. I also ordered a simple Mocha ice coffee, which came out rather quick. However, we waited 26 minutes for the two sandwiches. Overall they were decent to good, but the bread was quite burnt in spots and like eating hard pizza crust, however the rest was ok. The ice coffee was pretty good, comparable to recess or cafe blue. It became quite crowded after we ordered and loud, not the establishments fault, it left not much room to wait. During our 26 minute wait not a word about our order was relayed to us even though it was clear the cashier had seen us waiting and knew we had been there awhile. If it weren't for the extra long wait for 2 simple sandwiches this would be a 4 rating. But with the wait and burnt crust I'm at a 3. I will give it another try possibly.

I loved this cafe. We stopped in for cappuccinos on a Tuesday morning while strolling around Cazenovia. The barista was flat out busy but welcoming. Their set up doesn't include wait staff, so you need to pick up your coffees and bus your own items at the end. Coffee was delicious! There were lots more items on the menu that would draw me back for a second visit!

Very cozy vibes inside and only $15 for a gigantic latte and a yummy sandwich! Staff were very nice and bring food to table

I just love this place!! So quaint, and very good food! The coffee is splendid and I get a new flavor every time. Today I tried their season maple pecan latte and the flavors were delicious! I also enjoyed their vegan curry chicken salad which normally I am skeptical about but I loved it! The service is great I have never had any problems with the workers there I think they are all just lovely!!

I have eaten here so many times and feel bad for not reviewing. So I will now. But what made me you ask? The figgy pudding latte. Aka the best latte I have ever had in my life! Omg it was delicious I wanted another. We also ordered a light breakfast and everything is so clean and fresh. It's a true gem in the heart of Caz.

Really good cafe/breakfast spot in Cazenovia NY. It's located off of Main Street and is walking distance from a lot of other shops in town. Their breakfast sandwiches include all local ingredients - so good! Their coffee was excellent, I went two days in a row while I was in town! The staff was really nice and friendly too.

    Mushroom panini

This was a special treat discovered on Cazenovia's main street. Miraculous mushroom panini - flavorful mushrooms with NYS Swiss , garlic aioli, arugula and roasted red onions. Ginger rose latte! My travel companion raved about her specialty specialty panini - roasted pears, fig jam, Brie, arugula and roasted onions but neither of us would give up a bite because they were too good to share. We slid in just before closing and yet the folks behind the counter graciously welcomed us and did not try to rush us out. Very responsible COVID response - limited seating due to low density, plexi shields at the counter (so clean you may not see them!!!), mask wearing and only two at the counter at one time. Very impressive!! I will definitely go back!

Great little coffee shop. Glad we found this while visiting town. Especially enjoyed the banana bread along with our coffee.

In any larger town, this place would be considered dirty, stale, gross. But the fewer options you have, some pretend it's a "gem".

Great paninis. Plenty of vegetarian options. Sometimes it can get busy, so order ahead if you're in a rush. Nice place to grab lunch.

They did not charge for the bacon on the receipt either, so maybe a case of the order taker did not hear the request. They do have an ice cream shop attached, as well. Cash or card is accepted. They have a parking lot that can get quite full on bowling league nights. Throughout the year, they have quite a few food specials. It can sometimes get quite loud during late night events, or league nights. They have an arcade when you enter to the left. Money goes onto a card to be used to play. Pay attention to the machine as it does like to eat your money and provide nothing on the card. The games are fun!
