Once we got are food are order was wrong i politely asked if they could fix what was wrong. The guy started swearing and being super pissed off now calling the other worker a "dumbass" in a loud angry tone. They remade it and I got my food and thanked him then I got to my car just to realize this was wrong aswell again. do not go here, the staff are very rude and when going to order the staff was nowhere to be found, five minutes later turns out they were in the back not doing anything. When ordering the staff seemed bothered and uncaring that really showed when the order came out and it was wrong. I've given this place about 5 too many chances. Today there was one car in line in front of us, we ordered a simple fries and burger for my son. Paid, they then asked us to pull to the side as they were waiting for fries. They went to the one car in front of us 11 minutes later and not us. They then came back out almost 10 more minutes later. Forgot the ketchup and bbq sauce for the nuggets I reminded them twice. I bet inside asked for it waited another several minutes. I'm disappointed in this location. The quality of the food is always poor, either stale or overcooked -- especially the fries. The wait times are excessive whether you go inside, through the drive-thru, or curbside with the McDonald's app. My orders are routinely incorrect and they are missing items or have different items all together. It often seems like the facility is understaffed, dirty, and like the employees are profoundly stressed or upset. There was one instance where there was only one employee working and she had to shut everything down and give people refunds because she couldn't complete orders. The town is really nice and the exterior of the building is in good condition, but beyond the surface there are few redeeming qualities about this McDonald's. read more

The food is always hot. I don't have a long wait. The service is sometimes slow but they are people too. I don't think anyone thinks about the fact that they are people. They just want their food. I don't want to admit it, but I've been here many times. I've never gone inside because I always use their drive-thru. They have two lanes and are located next to a market parking lot so there are lots of spaces to park for dining in your car. I'm a fan of the all-day hashbrowns. Unlike the fries, they're fried to order. Because they need to fry them when ordered, they can take some time and may require you to pull to the side in a parking spot. An employee then comes out and hands you the bag after 5 minutes or so. It helps keep the line going. The drive-thru is especially convenient during the snow. I did encounter a time when they were closed, during a time when they're normally open, due to the large amounts of snow in the parking lot. I was pretty surprised. Their parking lot is pretty rugged with some pot holes due to the snow damage. I tried their frozen mocha frappe and found it to be pretty bland in coffee flavor. I think their iced coffee is a little better than their frappe. The frappe also comes in caramel flavor. It's topped with whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup. I saw that they blended it when I ordered in an actual blender rather than pumping it out of a frappe machine so that was a nice surprise. read more

It is a good place to eat for a fast food resturaunt. Something to get quickly while you're out and about--it is perfect for that. The food is as good as Fast Food gets but overall it is a nice place. Sometimes service is slow but overall this place is pretty nice. Worse McDonald's I have ever stepped foot into! This restaurant is never clean, the service takes forever, the employees are not nice, not one employee puts salt on the fries, and there is never any chocolate syrup in the milkshakes. The machines are always broken down and I am always asked to come back at a later time. The floors are so sticky from spilled soda that your shoes feel like there stuck to the floor. I have a friend who always eats at the Cazenovia McDonalds. He says that it's one of the few that serves McDonald's food well. The quality of McDonald's food does change from location to location. And he's right. The drive-through is quick, and the dining room is pleasant to eat in. As I get older, many of the food choices here just don't agree with me any more. But do wish to talk about one item. Years ago, McDonalds updated their coffee system. How dare they! Fast food coffee is suppose to be stale, bitter, and give you an upset stomach. But McDonalds offers very clean tasting coffee with crisp flavor that goes down well. And I love coffee houses. I find myself going out of my way to have McDonald's coffee from the Cazenovia location. Funny how their cheapest menu item (often at a $1) is better than a lot of other places. Well, not Pewter Spoon, but they seem slow on creating a drive-through. I'm glad that there is a McDonalds in Cazenovia. Because sometimes, you just don't want Brewster Inn food. I have gone through the drive-thru 3 times and each time the service was incredibly slow. The first time, I ordered a water. It took so long that I drove away. The second and third times, I ordered a drink and a sandwich. It took so long I would have drove away had I not already paid. I go there fairly often considering I live in Cazenovia and it's the only fast food place within ten miles. There are always long waits, even if there's no line of cars which more often than not there are. 3 times out of 5 I've had to pull up out of the line because my food was going to be more than a few minutes. On average if you want something simple like an ice cream cone or a McDouble it'll take about 7 minutes until you can drive away with your food. The food is also (even for McDonald's standards) of very poor quality. My burgers fall apart, my fries are always too old or nothing but salt. I've had to wait for 6 minutes before when I was the only person there (late at night) and all I ordered was a Medium Diet Coke. If you're passing through and are debating whether or not to stop here for a quick bite or wait for something better, your best bet is to wait or try one of the other restaurants in town. read more
