If I ever need anything for my violin, I make sure to schedule a visit when I'm in town. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Whenever I visit, they greet me and remember me. They aren't pushy or salesy, and they go the extra mile to make sure I get the best service. For example, I went in to buy a new case. It was perfect except for the bow hold, which was a bit narrow. Kelley, the store manager, said, "not a problem!" and took it to the back room. Meanwhile, I had an informative and friendly chat with Matthew up front. Kelley came back having altered the bow clasp to be deeper, to securely fit my bow. It's perfect! The staff at Meyer Music is so down to earth and helpful, it's still worth it for me to take care of any needs in Holland verses Chicago. I will always take my violin back to Meyer!

Glad it's out of business. The owner was a snob. Just there to make a quick buck selling factory…read moreseconds. A friend of mine took an amp in for repair. Four months later it was still not fixed. I was also in the store when he called a customer who had bought a guitar and was explaining to him that he had to return it or pay more because it was sold to him as a factory second but was supposedly brand-new without blemish.

She is really great at teaching, and helping to break a person out of their comfort zone to achieve their dreams as a singer/musician. Whether your a beginner or advanced singer or somewhere in between, she will work with you where you are at on your journey. She also brings a lot of knowledge, wisdom and years of experience along with a positive attitude to the table. I also hired her along with a piano player named Scott Taylor for my wedding back in October to perform 5 songs, and they both did a phenomenal job at it, we had them play two songs as my Wife and I's first dance, and had her sing The Lord's Prayer during the ceremony, her voice is so beautiful and really did each song justice.
