My parents went for desserts and they were excellently presented and apparently very good. The decor is cute. There's many prints with a Clontarf or Pigeon House theme. The exposed pipe work and old fashioned light bulbs work really well with the oily green paint. The windows let in loads of light which makes the place very comfortable to sit in but not too bright. My friends all got the fried cheese tacos and those were the real star of the night. The tacos come with chips but I opted to substitute for their stir fried teriyaki veggies. Happy I got this and if you need a break from fries this was a good side. Ended with a brownie with ice cream. The brownie was more like a brownie cake than a traditional brownie in my opinion but it's okay, it was still super tasty and the chocolate sauce was marvelous. Not too milky - just how like it. The scone was a wee bit dry but good all the same, served with cream and jam -my favourite! The staff were lovely, very friendly having chats with customers (everybody knows everybody so of course they are!) and just being generally smiley, which makes the cafe quite cheerful.
