If I could give 0 stars I would. I thought I'd be given decent customer service, since I've shopped here in the past but sadly I was wrong. The owner and the salesperson are probably two of the worst people I've dealt with in retail. They sold my mother a broken shoe, did not say it was clearance, but instead claimed it was a $100 shoe and was being given a discount. When I looked at the shoe closely, it was broken but was altered so that we would not know until it was tried on. So, of course, I stopped at the store to see what they could do. I was told that they would not be able to help. Not only that, my mother purchased a dress from them for my destination wedding. The owner told my mom it would be ready today. It was not. So, I said I no longer want to do business here and requested to pick up the unaltered dress and bring it somewhere else. She told me she did not have it. I reminded her about my wedding being destination but she started to point her finger in my face. Me, already upset about the shoe, told her to get her finger out of my face. My mom being the calm one, rushed me out before things escalated further. We left with no dress and no refund on the damaged shoe but on the way out, she said "I've dealt with people like you before, it's ok." I'm so happy that there are organizations like the Better Business Bureau. Two words: shop elsewhere. read more

Wow. Finally a decent dress shop on the Westbank. Not only does The Pink Veil have wedding dresses at reasonable prices, but they have all sorts of dresses for any occasion. They have dresses that would be perfect for prom and dances and dresses that would be best for a night out on the town. The staff was super friendly and attentive and although I was just looking, they were sure to ask if I needed help with anything. read more

Mary and Hannah were very patient and helpful with going through not only the store inventory but the magazines as well. When it came time to try on a few options they were very knowledgable about how they would alter to fit my body and allow the dress to flow properly. I came back in the next day to show my parents my decision and decided to order a new version instead of the stock selection. Mary was very understanding and allowed me to order a new dress at the same price! Great customer service and very insightful on today's trends. Will defiantly be going back for bridesmaid and flower girl dresses! read more

Think twice before using this vendor. The pink veil policy is no exchange or refund. Therefore if you order out of their catalog, and you are not pleased with the product, you are stuck with the item. The gown I ordered was poorly made, and the material was cheap. The two layer of material was so thin, I was advised to wear a slip, by the owner. They also don't take measurements, they order a large size, and alteration is $60. This happen to me in July 2014. I found a 2nd wedding attire at another local boutique, the wedding suit was beautiful! If you don't want to waste your money, think twice. read more

I wish there was a negative star. I went to the Pink Veil to order dresses for my wedding. They were measured in the store. The first two dresses are extremely large. One girl wears a size 16 and received a dress that is a size 22. The other person wears a size 8 and received a size 16. When we realized the dresses where both were multiple sizes to big we had the young lady who wears a size 16 try on the other bridesmaid dress that was a size 16 that fit perfectly. I asked the manager if the size 22 could simply be exchanged for the correct size to fit the smaller bridesmaid she refused. She did not take responsibility for the mishap and ensured me that the measurements were taken correctly and that the dresses matched their measurements. The dresses are obviously to large and hang off. To remove their dresses neither of them have to unzip or unhook anything because once you let go the dresses immediately fall off of their bodies. The manager told us that she would do free alterations for the larger girl but we would have to pay for the alterations for the smaller woman. Meanwhile the third dress had not be shipped. The manager said that she ordered a 14. This bridesmaid wears a size 8 as well. I asked could she stop that order since it had not been filled yet and change the size so we would not have the same situation. Marry declined and said that the manufacturer of the dresses does not do any exchanges or returns for any reason. I was not satisfied and called the manufacture myself and was informed that they do exchanges but only through the company that order the dress and that they would have to place the request. When she called she told the company that we were exaggerating and there was no need for an exchange. She ensured that the dresses would be ready in 5 days but the seamstress told us that there was no way that she could have the dresses ready by my wedding date in 25 days let alone 5 days. Now we are stuck with three super sized dresses. The manager claims that based on the dresses style this is normal, but my other three bridesmaids went to a different shop and ordered the exact same dresses and the came in perfect fit. This store has not taken any responsibility for there actions. Trust me their are other better gown shops in this city. DO NOT patronize them. I wish someone would have warned me. read more

My dress was ordered 3mths in advance.I am a size 6 the dress ordered was a 12 and way too big so I had to get alterations which I had to pay for.If we ordered dresses from her shop the alterations should have been free since we were measured before ordering.I went 3 different times to get my altered dress and it was not ready on the third visit I had to wait 30/45min more so she could do more alterations and by the time I made it home the stitch was unraveling. I will never go back to them. The younger girl also had a nasty attitude when I questioned if my dress was pressed or steamed bc it was still wrinkled. Very unprofessional. read more

If I could give it ZERO I would. This place is owned by crooks!! I was in a bridal party and unfortunately the wedding was cancelled. She would not give me my money back even though she claimed to have cancelled the order when she didn't hear from the bride. This lady doesn't want to give me my dress, so I paid over $300 for NOTHING !!! Her response "I don't know". Then when I threatened to sue, her response "get your lawyer". My girlfriend has bought a couple ball dresses from this place over he past 2 years, and one day i went to pick up the dress her dress that was being altered and the expanded and now sell/rent tuxedos and suits at a very good price, way cheaper than i was paying at mens wear house. The staff there is very helpful and knowledgeable about there products. You start to feel like your family when you go there. Overall wonderful place and amazing prices. read more

I spent a lot of money on a dress here. I cant beleive I thought they were professional seamstress' and could actually handle some minor alterations. When I got my dress back, I was VERY disappointed. There was a huge dark line where she hemmed my slit and the shoulders were literally just pinched over and sewn. I could have done that... They did even take the extra beads out, so there were bulges underneath where they folded it over. They didnt even hem the bottom like I asked. Worst of all, when I called about my dress to pick it up, they didnt even know which one was mine. Personally, I will not go back there and if you do purchase a dress from here, I DO NOT recommend that you let them alter it. read more

Do not go there .and go look for another store the owner is loud and very rude ,they lie ,they tell you come get your dress next weeks and when next week arrive the dress is not ready yet ,they tore my dress while they been doing some alteration ,they have charged me even extra .if you want pay do not pay the full amount because they will not work on your dress any more like what happened with me .do payments method so that way may be they make your dress ready on time .i make the full payment on 02/2017 and my weading was on may and the dress was not ready it was huge and long and they tore it while it was there ...I had to go a day before my weading asking for immmediate assistant from Anna's alteration ....if you r reading my comment you are lucky and you know what is going to happen to you in advance .do not go there they are way over priced and it's not even worth it .they r lazy they would tell you it can't be fixed just because they don't want bother them self .the owner is Arabian loud women ,rude,giving her my business and she made me feel I'm not welcomed she made me feel am bothering her while I'm giving her the money she is a lier.do not trust her...
