We were staying nearby during a busy mtn. bike weekend. We tried this place out while visiting their above bar called Tuque's. The only food that was being served at Tuque's, on Sunday, was from the Pizza Slice. They were backed up so we waited for over 30 minutes but we weren't in a hurry. The pizza's are 12" wood fired and made fresh to order. A single pie is not cheap (+$24/ea) but they offer 50% off on the 2nd one ordered. We ordered the "Carnivore" and the "Prosciutto". Both were delicious and Tuques provided ranch, red pepper and parmesan add on's. It was a great visit but a little pricey. read more

The pizza here is so good!!! The pizza is made very quick too. I love the customer service here as well. They speak to you in a very family type of way so it makes you feel comfortable right away. I got the mushroom one and added sweet sausage and the carnivore pizza. Both were delicious. Omg I can eat the whole pizza by myself and I'm usually two sliced max at other pizza places. Great location between western territory and main Snowshoe slopes, BERY loud and beyond terrible customer service - do not greet customers, very unfriendly, been waiting for the lady at the register to place our order for 15 minutes - she was too busy counting cash and closing register transactions to even acknowledge our presence right in front of her, or to great us. When I have asked if she was open the employee abruptly told us that she was busy with something and we had to wait. 5 minutes later I have asked if she can possibly take our order, so they can start working on it and we will pay when she is done with register. Instead the employee slammed the register door and stormed out of the reception area into the kitchen. With our untimely desire to place an order during open business hours all we were to her - a major bother and a nuisance which was demonstrated to us to the fullest. The manager came out and told us that we need to be understanding g and what until she would close lunch transactions and it would have taken another 5 min. I guess we were not very understanding of the entire ordeal as we were trying to grab. Very quick bite before heading g back to slopes to make it by 4:30 pm closure. Located between the top of the Powder Monkey lift and the Western Territory access point. They have a small lot you can pull into for carry out and they also do delivery. The Shroom and the Spinoccolli (with Prosciutto added) are some of the best pizzas you'll have anywhere. read more

I got off my first ever ski slope (and consequent ski lift trip)...and walked straight into an awesome pizza joint. That joint was The Pizza Slice. I never knew pizza, skiing, beer, and gelato went together like 4 peas in a pod!! As soon as you walk in there is a cold fridge full of juices, water, beers, and vitamin waters. My boyfriend loved trying their peanut butter chocolate stout. Personally, it seems wrong to have pizza without a fizzy Coca Cola but that's just me. We ordered a 12" The Carnivore pizza. It was delicious! Skiing really makes you hungry . The pepperoni and Italian sausage was plentiful. The cheese was stringy and melted to perfection. The crust was toasted the perfect amount and had a taste of brick oven pizza. It's all prepared right there!! Make sure to sprinkle some Parmesan and red pepper flakes on that and it's a WRAP. The cashier gave us ranch without charging us extra. I also tried their gelato, it was a little on the icy side but perfectly refreshing after getting a good sweat going on the slopes. I recommend the cherry or pistachio flavor! Perfect for families, or to grab a quick bite before going back to do a couple more laps. Definitely consider refueling those "pizza and French fry" skiing techniques with a literal pizza in the belly (pretty sure a salad wouldn't have provided me with much energy although they did have some delicious sounding salads on the menu). Came here the other day to pick up a pizza and salad to go. We got a white pizza and a beet salad. The white pizza was really good, and I'm glad they provided some red pepper flakes and Parmesan to go along with it. This place is legit. It's a small cafe environment, not many tables but also not crowded outside of peak hrs. They also deliver. The crust on the pizza is outstanding, with great flavor. Ate at the Pizza Slice during a weekend trip too Snowshoe this summer. Pizza Slice is easily the best Pizza at Snowshoe! Wood Fired Pizza at it's best! Located next to the Corduroy Inn and a short walk from the Village. Take the time to walk on over for lunch or dinner and you will not be disappointed. Great food, great staff! Easy access to the lifts during ski season make this the go to place for hungry skiers and snowboarders. We tried most of the pizzas over the course of the trip and all were great.
