The current manager, however, is a jerk! Chris A. lacks social skills when it comes to customer service; and, he seems to "bully" his employees in the way he talks to them. He doesn't seem to know his own job very well, to the extent of having to ask the Assistant Mgr. about the computer, what they had in stock, where to find an item, etc... The Asst. Mgr. and the employees seem to have to "work around" him to deliver the customer service that they have been known for!

After reading some reviews, I was a bit hesitant because people said when things went wrong, no one helped them once it was delivered...but their prices are good, so we figured we'd take a chance. We walked into the store and were greeted right away. They allowed us to walk around and take our time. We didn't have someone following us at a distance; they allowed us to look and were there when we had questions. After we decided, we went back and forth on a few details. Noah helped us and he was very nice and Billy (the owner) came and introduced himself. Long story short, a piece was left off our delivery. My husband and I went back and forth on the piece (he wanted it, I didn't), but we decided to go ahead and get it. When we received our delivery, it was not there. We looked at our receipt and it specifically said it was without that piece of the couch. We couldn't get ahold of Billy, our delivery drivers left (who were awesome) and we figured we weren't going to get it. We had absolutely no recourse because our receipt did not include that item, which we didn't notice until delivery day. Once the guys got back, they talked to Billy, called us and said it was absolutely ours, so we came to pick it up. The integrity Billy showed is beyond appreciated and noticed. From start to finish, everything they said they would do, they honored... not only in price and delivery date, but even with a small slip-up. We will 100% come back. Highly recommend.

From that point on the service has been terrible. We have always been the ones to initiate contact with the store, whether it is to check on if our furniture was in and with later issues we had with the furniture being damaged. Twice now when we've called to check on if the furniture was in yet they had told us, Oh yes, it's in our warehouse, but yet no one had called to set up a delivery time. After the first delivery, the top of our chest of drawers was completely cracked, the nightstand had a paint drip on it, and the side rail for the king size bed had a large chunk of wood out of it. The delivery guys said that a manager would call us on Monday. We waited patiently more than a week and never heard back from anyone at the store. We called and the manager said that the pieces would be re-ordered, didn't seem phased by the fact that we had so much damage and never apologized or even seemed concerned that we had issues. We again waited months and never heard from the store. We called again and were told oh yes, it's in but again no one called us to set up a delivery time. They brought the furniture out. The side rail again was broken and the nightstand was so damaged that the drawer couldn't even be pulled out. The furniture was again taken back and no one called us to let us know what they were going to do. My husband again called and was told that it would be re-ordered. We waited again for the furniture never hearing from the store and then my husband again calls and they said yes it's available and it's in the warehouse. We were told a manager was going to come out and he never showed up or called. We waited a while and then again my husband called and the manager again said yes that he was going to come out on the Saturday but again he never showed up or called. We spent a lot of money but once they had our money, apparently that's where their customer service ends. I was looking forward to having a local furniture company that I could use, but I would not recommend this business to anyone.

I recently bought a house and stumbled upon Smyrna Furniture outlet on Instagram. I found their posts amusing and of course, the furniture caught my eye. Staff were always friendly and helpful, and they allowed me to browse without any pressure to buy. On my second visit, I made my first purchases. The furniture arrived on time and was delivered with no issues. I recommended a friend, and they were equally satisfied. I went back and made my second purchase, a couch. It arrived on time and of course delivered on time without any issues. I loved it so much that I went back that same week to get the whole sectional, but I was worried that it would not arrive in time for my housewarming party. I called Patrick to check on the delivery status. From our conversation, I was sure it would not arrive when I needed it. After looking into it, Patrick said he would call me back. Within the hour, Patrick called back and said, "you will have it before the weekend". I was ecstatic. It took less than a week to arrive and I could not have been more pleased with delivery and customer service. The deliver guys set it up the way I wanted it. They don't hover and make you feel hunted like other furniture stores yet they're always ready to help and check on you often. We even sat down with a few of them for a while and had good laughs with them. They're honest, affordable, and willing to do what is needed to help you find what you're looking for. We left the first time we went so we could shop around at other places but quickly realized this is the place to go with the best prices so we returned to make our purchases. What a great group! I cannot recommend them enough. Don't waste your time or money anywhere else.
