We went on a Friday night and although they had a reservation for the whole restaurant at 8 pm, they were able to squeeze us in. The food was good with big portion sizes and the atmosphere has fun decorations inside.

Such a blast! Delicious food and kind servers made lunch a joy. My friend and I never had Uzbek food before so we asked for advice. One of the first recos was the kabob page. We both had a lamb kabob which was perfect. Well marinated with a flavorful sear and a good size for the price. I also had the lagman soup. I was so impressed by the hand pulled noodles and the spices in the broth. The dining room was also beautiful. It's not every day that i eat lunch lounging on a couch.

Very good food ! Its flavor full and healthy fresh- great for healthy eating . Was visiting Cincinnati and found this small mom and pop restaurant but excellent service and food!

This restaurant is excellent. It is clean and the server was helpful in explaining some of the dishes. We started with Mantu, the dumplings were a perfect combinación of lamb and beef. My daughter ordered a Quazon Kabob and I ordered the Osh Plov. Both dishes were very good. There was a plate of salad and a basket of bread. Way more food than we could eat. Really enjoyed our meal and would not hesitate to recommend it.

So I came here with my son and his fiancé, for dinner after they looked at their new to them home that they're looking at purchasing. I found this on yelp and decided we needed to try it for dinner. We walked in and was immediately greeted taken to a seat that was basically three couches put together with two tables in between and a couple of chairs at the end so very comfortable very uniquely decorated on the inside, but I liked it. The service was amazing. The young lady that took care of us was very prompt and very helpful. She did miss one item that was ordered on our order for dinner, but they took it off the bell and trust me the person had way more food than they could eat anyway, because she ordered some soup as well as eating off of her future husband's plate and sharing some other items. I will admit I have no idea what I ordered. I just know it was beef with rice carrots beans, I think was in there, but it was amazingly delicious. I ordered bread to go with a meal and they brought out a huge loaf of bread that we all shared and I ended up ordering two more to go home one for me and one for my son and his fiancé. I will say that I'm very happy I came in here. My son ordered fish and he said it was delicious. My future daughter-in-law ordered a soup and she said it was delicious. I got a fruit drink. I think it was and it was quite tasty. My future daughter-in-law got hot tea, which she got a pot of and enjoyed overall, there was five of us sitting there for dinner and the bill came to just over $100 for everything including the take on bread and I'm gonna say that's not a bad price for the amount of food that we got and eight and took some home so very impressed. I would definitely come back again. Highly recommend this location if you're anywhere nearby and you like Uzbek style food.

Honestly I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered plov, somsa, and green tea and it was all really delicious. The meat in the Plov was really tender and the carrots and raisins added great flavor to it as well. We ordered the tomato and cucumber salad that is typically eaten with plov and that was a cool and refreshing addition to all the meat and rice being eaten. We also ordered the Uzbek National Bread which came out warm and a was a great start to the meal. The service was great and I really loved the atmosphere inside the restaurant. The decor was really nice and even the couches to sit at added such a great touch to the place. They also have a photo booth area at the entrance where you get to take pictures with traditional clothing and accessories which was really fun for the group to do! If you're looking for Uzbeki food or even Turkish food I would definitely recommending The Plove out!!

Ok Fairfield fam! If you live in Fairfield and you haven't been here yet, you need to stop what you're doing right now and go eat at The Plove! Yes, even today on Thanksgiving, they are OPENNNNN!!! I've been here twice and I regret not coming more often. The food is absolutely banging and the service and ambiance are wonderful too. This restaurant outclasses its humble strip mall Dixie hwy location!! I brought my vegetarian friend here the first time we stopped in and there were SO many options. Even though kebabs & meat are featured heavily on the menu, there's a myriad of lovely light and veggie dishes to choose from. My favorite is the light salad, which is actually not very light at all - it's chunks of fried eggplant with cilantro, onions, tomatoes and a very creamy cheese in a sweet sauce. It's a bit reminiscent of general tso's lol but it's SO much better. We noticed that they do eggplant very well here in multiple dishes so if you're an eggplant fan like me, you'll love it here! Of course we did also try some meat in the form of the restaurant's name, the traditional plove. This is a rice & meat dish with carrots (? idk what they are tbh), chickpeas, barberries (I think lol) and it has some cinnamon & other spices in it. Clearly I'm clueless but this is so delicious. Great to share with the family. Actually we found all the dishes to be very sharable. I'm looking forward to all of my future experiences here and I hope you will support this absolutely incredible local business! They deserve it! Thank you so much for being open on Thanksgiving!!!!

This place is truly a hidden gem in Fairfield! Non descript on the outside with plenty of parking, once you step inside, you are surrounded by gorgeous furnishings and beautiful colors everywhere. It's a cozy space that is beautiful and warm. The food is equally as lush and delicious. I tried the layman soup with handpulled noodles and beef, delicious, comforting with subtle depth of flavor, the crispy cheese bored, the awesome falafel appetizer and the traditional somsa. Don't forget the bread!! The service was quick and really nice. Do yourself a favor and support this amazing local treasure.

This place is within walking distance of my office and I never knew it was there. True example of a hidden gem. Had lunch there and was completely blown away by beautiful and vibrant setting, the amazing service and the explosive flavor of the delicious food. We tried the Somsa, several Kebab's and the most delicious dish I've ever had, the Lagman Soup. So many different flavor profiles. It was mind blasting. I hope this review reaches a lot of people. This is one restaurant I personally want to stay around for years to come. I can't wait to try something else on the menu. Definitely a repeat offender.

No idea what we ordered, but everything was amazing! We asked our waiter to surprise us with menus items (we like to eat family style) and everything was to die for. The service was super good considering choppy English. Every item was fresh and full of flavor. Definitely worth the stop! Always support local

The sort of place you wish for, great food, no bs, iykyk kinda place. Would recommend any of the soups.

A welcome addition to the area. I was really excited and curious when I saw most of the dishes were Uzbek. The staff were very accommodating and courteous when I'm sure a lot of people aren't used to the food. They provided some recommendations and we went with the cheese borek, the mixed appetizers, the beef stew, and a lamb gyro. Really delicious flavors and definitely worth a visit!

The interior decor was stunning and the food absolutely delicious. Despite being busy with birthday parties tonight, the servers provided excellent service!!!

Looks to be a quick serve setup, where you order and pay at the counter and they deliver to your table. I saw a few people dining in. Nice and clean inside with simple and soothing decor. Got two gyros and an order of stuffed grape leaves to go. The gyros were absolutely enormous where you need a fork to eat at least half the meat before you could even think about holding it. Nice and fresh and very tasty, though I was expecting the meat to be much more thinly sliced, and it was a wee bit short on the Tzatziki. Note to self: order extra on the side. The grape leaves were perfect, lemony and refreshing with a nice slightly crisp bite to reveal the tender filling. Beautifully wrapped too so nothing spilled out. I called my order in. I noticed the website must be directly powered by a third party delivery system as it had inflated prices, even if you choose the pickup option. So pick up the phone and call if you want to pay the regular menu prices. The gentleman who took my order and waited on me was very polite and cheerful. I'll be back!

I've since moved to Liberty Twp. but the Phoenician still beckons. Had dinner last night there with my wife. It was a wonderful experience. I felt it was high time I wrote them up. We started with an excellent double-hop IPA and a great Lebanese red wine, I think it was called Kefraya. Gonna seek it out locally, maybe at Jungle Jim's. As always, the pita bread is fresh, oven-hot and delectable. The shankleen appetizer is outstanding, a lovely fusion of greens, lentils, feta cheese, olive oil and spices. Wife ordered schwirma - slow-grilled combo of sliced chicken alongside sliced beef and lamb. The waiter obligingly substituted a side of couscous for rice, no extra charge. I had a braised shank of lamb in a rich tomato sauce. Both entrees were delicious. As always, the portions were very generous, so we took food home along with complimentary fresh pita bread. Besides the great food, the service is superb. The owner makes a point of stopping at each table to ensure that the diners are happy. We look forward to our next visit.

Made it out here last night before seeing Pericles at Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. We ordered a couple waters, which we didn't realize would be bottled, and some dawali to start. The wait was very short, maybe ten minutes. These were definitely the best stuffed grape leaves I've had, with a sweet and tangy sauce. Nice light appetizer. For our entrees, she chose the falafel platter, and I went for the Arayes, which is a dish we've made a couple times at home recently and has become a favorite. These plates arrived only a minute or two after we finished the grape leaves, so perfect timing. I must say, everything looked incredible. We both took a bite of falafel, then the arayes, then the salad. Everything was very undersalted. Usually, I think of this as a huge strike against a restaurant, but once we added salt to everything, the flavors popped. It wasn't that the food was bland or unseasoned, it was just undersalted, which didn't help the flavors stand out. This is the main reason I did 4 stars instead of 5. The entrees were $18, and came with a big bed of rice and salad, but I felt the protein for each platter was a bit sparse: 5 falafel for the plate, and 5 arayes, which had a very thin patty of meat in each. Both were topped with a delicious cilantro-tahini (I think) sauce, that i would have liked a bit more of, for the sides and the arayes which were on the bottom. The water bottles were $1.50 each, so I'd probably bring our own next time, but that's not a big deal. Overall, most of my issues are small and nitpick except for the salt, so if that was nailed next time, I think this place would be a home run.

The entrée salad was simple but perfect -- finely chopped lettuce with a light vinaigrette that tasted fresh and clean. Even the rice was cooked perfectly with just the right seasoning to hit the palate. The cabbage rolls were a standout -- soft, flavorful, and held together beautifully without falling apart. Truly, the kitchen knows what they're doing. Food is a solid 5/5. Now... the vibes. This is where things took a turn. When you walk in, the atmosphere just doesn't feel welcoming. The server didn't offer suggestions -- even after we mentioned it was our first visit -- which was disappointing but not a dealbreaker since we still managed to pick great dishes. The dining room was so quiet you could hear other tables cutting their food, and the music kept cutting in and out, which made things feel even more awkward. The staff wasn't rude, but the energy just wasn't there. Service is a generous 1/5. Would I recommend Sultans? For the flavor -- absolutely. Would I dine in again? Probably not, at least not until the atmosphere matches the quality of the food. So overall, I'm giving this place a 3.5 out of 5, and that score is solely carried by the incredible food, not the dine‑in experience. In the meantime due to the vibes I got we will be looking for somewhere different unfortunately. Skip the coffee you will see in the pictures on my black coffee.
