Business office and front desk girls have no clerical skills about first and second co-pays on two…read moreinsurances as far as primary and second insurances go they were trying to be paid 2 copays business office and receptionist not up to date with first and second insurance and how they pay out and are processed with first co-pay being the first copay that should apply very dissatisfied and disappointed and made me sit and wait for a long time to talk to my insurances because they would not check me in till I verified what I told them about how the insurances work because they obviously don't know and they kept taking people ahead of me that had later appointments all because they wanted extra money for a second co-pay they were not authorized to have. They were all about the money and not the patients care.They should be ashamed of theirs theirselves for what they did to me. I will never go back there again!!! That was horrible! Bad patient service to me.

I have been to other podiatrists in that in another state that were fantastic from surgery to…read morefollow up care. By far Cortez Foot and Ankle is the worst possible. I came in for nail infection. A technician came in and trimmed my nails but not at my request. After waiting 40 minutes without the arrive of the doctor I left as I had an important appointment elsewhere to attend. I informed the front desk with disgust and explanation. Later, My Medicare Insurance was billed and a charge for nail trimming. I have refuted the charges. As a result of my complaint Medicare was reimbursed but my nail trimming was not. I am glad I was vigilant about the unethical billing. Overall the treatment/professional ethics and customer care was horrible for me. I would NOT ever return to Cortez Foot and Ankle and advise others to avoid as well! One star is a generous gift rating.
