We visited The Point for a Paint Nite event, and had a really fun evening. The pub has a warm, historic feel and a lively atmosphere that makes it a great place to hang out with friends. We enjoyed the music while sipping Guinness and Irish whiskey. We ordered mozzarella sticks and nachos. The food was just okay, but it did the job for a casual night out. What really stood out was the atmosphere. It's one of the oldest taverns in Boston, and it sits right along the freedom trail. It had that classic Boston hangout feel that both locals and tourists enjoy!

Okay on a work trip we stopped here for Fish&Chips. We were there for about 15 minutes and no one spoke or offered any assistance. Don't waste your time !

In a lovely neighborhood along the Freedom Trail, this triangular building stood out immediately and it's the home of a cozy, welcoming pub called The Point. We felt right at home immediately and the staff (shout out to Sophia and Kristen) greeted us with smiles and great service. The bartender made excellent cocktails for us (our usual margaritas and old-fashioneds). Our Point Burger (cooked perfectly medium rare, as requested) and crispy chicken sandwich (with coleslaw & fries) were hot, delicious and served promptly. We only regret that we didn't get to go back for another meal during our time there. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and plan to go back on a subsequent trip to Boston!

Really nice chill bar; I didn't get the chance to try the food, but I'll definitely do so the next time I'm in town.

The owner is so nice! My favorite bar we hopped around for sure. It's the best of both worlds with a dance bar upstairs and live music downstairs. The musician was very good- think he was Ryan? Will be back for sure

Visited on a Sunday at 7:30 PM and was given a warm welcome by Jay and John! Music and drinks are great! Service was quick and friendly!

What a fun spot. Whether you're bar hopping, need a quick bite, want to dance or even have some live music, they really have it all. I usually end up here getting a few drinks with the girls and the nachos are also our go-to due to the portion they give you and they're only $15! Super tasty, drinks are great too. Strawberry Basil has my heart and I hope they never remove it. The people here are super friendly too. You get to seat yourself and then there's always like 3 servers always walking around and checking on people. One night, we even got a free round of shots!

    Super nachos

This is my second time here with my bestie girl and it is soo fun!!! The food and drinks are great and cheap! Andrea was our server and she is gorgeous and super sweet! If you are in the area definitely come here. :) We got the super nachos and the mango margaritas 10 out of 10!

This place was such a treat. We stumbled across it and we were looking for somewhere to watch the Bears bar. How lucky are we to find a bears bar?!? I wanna give a shout out to Bryan and Jimmy. What great customer service. Bryan, at the door and also helping everywhere he could. Jimmy is excellent and the entire operation of this spot. The wings looked heavenly and smelled delicious. I love the large space and though the game was rough to watch, I loved being amongst my people. Thankful for this bar!

This is such a fun, energetic spot for a night out or just an exhilarating meal! My friends and I went on the night of a football game and it was packed! They also have live music most nights for more fun! We got a few appetizers like mozzarella sticks, ginormous nachos, and buffalo wings (including gluten free!). Mozzarella sticks had good pull, the nachos were huge and had sooo much stuff on it, and the wings were decent but not as buffalo-heavy as I like. The entrees were also good but i would go for the appetizers first! I got the steak and it wasn't bad for the price but wouldn't get again. Out of everything I got, I would get the buffalo wings and the nachos again. Come for the food, stay for the drinks!

Cozy venue, but apparently a cook showed up to work late and despite that there were few people in the venue, we waited 30 minutes for food.

The flavors were very average and the quality of the food was nothing special. Wish it was more Seaport quality. It's a bummer since not a single plate was piping hot when it got to our table. We were sat outside immediately, and got our drink orders taken within 3 minutes. I personally am never able to make a decision and our server Carlos helped me out with the drink choices! I picked something he suggested they could make that wasn't on the menu, and it was one of the yummiest margaritas I've had recently! For our food we got the steak tips and sweet chili wings and they were both a 10/10. The steak tips came with broccoli instead of a side salad but our server assured it could be switched immediately and apologized for the miscommunication, but we preferred the broccoli anyways! What shocked me was I noticed how Carlos kept an eye on every table without interjecting to bother them. He kept such a good eye on the tables that he noticed someone wobbling in their chair and brought them napkins to even out the ground, and brought me a bunch more napkins when I had ounces of sauce from the wings on my hands and face. It was truly a great experience and nice to see someone so attentive to their customers who totally didn't have to be. Give Carlos a raise! Thank you Caskn flagon!

It's like someone mashed together an amusement park, a zoo, and a full-blown circus, then replaced the cotton candy with alcohol and the safety rails with chaos. Every floor felt like a different dimension--one minute you're vibing, the next you're dodging a human traffic jam like it's bumper cars. But the real main event? Colleen. First floor. Absolute legend. Watching her work was like witnessing a headliner performance before the headliner. She wasn't bartending--she was conducting a symphony of pure mayhem. Drinks flying out of her hands like fireworks, orders remembered with supernatural precision, cracking jokes, keeping the energy electric--it was like if a ringmaster, a magician, and a quarterback all fused into one person behind the bar. I showed up stone-cold sober. Like, "responsible adult grabbing a pre-show drink" sober. What happened next was less of a night out and more of a controlled demolition. Somewhere between Colleen's perfectly poured chaos and the multi-floor madness, time stopped making sense. Jake n JOES was perfect to host this at because it is a New England sports bar with plenty of TVs, a perfect game day menu, and a lively atmosphere to enjoy a game with sports decor surrounding. I'm glad they had this Celtics collab. The event was fun, they had free merch at a table handed out by Celtics cheerleaders and Lucky the Leprechaun. We got there towards the end but scored some merch. We did wait for a table since it was a full house for this, but luckily we scored one with a TV in view. My friends and I got dinner, opted out of drinks this round. I got the chicken quesadilla with a side of spanish rice. The quesadilla was pretty good, but the rice was a little undercooked. They also charged extra for a side of sauce which has never happened before so that was a bummer. I wouldn't have got one if I'd known. Oh well. We then split the cookie sundae which was yummy.
