I recently stayed here with my gf and it's an overall great place with the exception of the service and a couple of other things that could easily be corrected and make this place 5 stars. The building itself is big, nice, clean, and the deluxe suite we stayed in was great. The room patio and view were great too. The pool and bar are great as well and we enjoyed it multiple times. The bed was comfy and the jacuzzi tub was great! The employees though definitely need a refresher course in customer service. The employees working the check-in and check-out were nice and friendly, but both the bartenders had bad attitudes and weren't friendly at all. Me and my gf were like WTF and I don't play that sh*t so I called them out on it. I get it you're dealing with Disney crazies all day but you chose this job so do it with a smile on your face and never let someone sit and wait for a drink or food. If you're busy say Hello hand them a menu and say I'll be with you shortly. Needless to say the girl working the day shift ended up being nice after the fact. The girl working the night shift literally had no one there and took 15 minutes to make our drinks and wait on us. Then she handed us our drinks and we never seen her again. We literally had to knock on the back door to pay her after waiting 15 minutes after finishing our drinks. She said she was cleaning. Okay, that's cool but you have customers do it afterwards or while checking on us. Smh! We ordered a couple of fruity drinks in the daytime and they were good but didn't have that much alcohol in them for the price we paid which I think we got overcharged but my gf was like let it go. I then ordered a Blue Moon after finishing my Kool-Aid(lol) which is always tasty with a slice of orange in it. We then ordered some nachos and they weren't that great as you can see from the pic. We also ordered a couple fruity drinks at night and sat at one of the tables behind the Cabana bar which is nice and peaceful. Listen this is a great place but with better service this place could be outstanding. I'll definitely stay again, but fix these issues asap! The room prices are great for what you get and the location. FYI: they gave us breakfast vouchers that we never got to use because our flight was early and we had to return our rental car before catching our flight. You should offer things to grab for people leaving at 4-5 am. That disappointed me because we paid for that. Also, the lobby and elevator areas wreaked of marijuana. I'd say that doesn't make you look that great in general. 3.5 stars Thanks!

Loved! The perfect location, priced just right, walking distance to restaurants, bars and all thing tourist oriented. Our room overlooked the pool, a full bath with a washer and dryer, king room, full kitchen and living area with a small walkout patio. My husband and I stayed for 3 days/4 nights, breakfast was offered, more of a take and go, it was okay nothing fancy. We went grocery shopping for a few staples, so that worked on our side. The pool offered a full bar with snacks and appetizers too. We have already rebooked for our next trip to Universal.

This place is the worst. I truly couldn't wait to leave. The hotel needs a face lift and a staff that cares and wants to help. -checked in with no directions to the to the room. We asked twice. We were told tower 2. -not offered assistance with luggage (we made several trips) -couch and sheets had holes -one bar of soap in the executive suite. one bar. We asked for more for the shower and was given hand soap and was told by the FD agent trying to be cute that we had to pay for it. -a/c didn't work. No air circulation in bedroom. -no hot water in the shower -pool furniture moldy -not one staff member had a mask on although there were signs everywhere that masks are encouraged - wanted to play corn hole and was told by the bartender if the sacks weren't there, she didn't know where they were and I would have to call engineering. Like really ? - the couch is a sofa bed yet no blanket in the room ? -woke up in the middle of the night to check out. Went to the front desk. We weren't asked how our stay was. I work in a 5 star hotel and have for 30 years. I would give this hotel a half star and that is generous....

We arrived around 10pm. Check in/out was quick. Room was mostly clean and well stocked. My wife and son did go down before checkout to get into the pool and hot tub. There's a big parking lot but due to it being a sold out weekend and arrive late we had a little trouble finding parking. They have a coffee bar that serves up Starbucks branded coffee. The caramel iced coffee was actually not bad.

Clean rooms. Clean property. Friendly staff. Very nice pool and hot tub. Great location. Very quiet. Now for the CONS. Ice is only available at front desk. No ice on any other floor. This is a 12 floor hotel. Every floor smells like marijuana, and it comes in your room at night. I'm serious. It's bad. The beds are so old that you sink down to the box spring. I had to sleep on 4 pillows. Fair price for the area. Hope this helps make an informed decision for your next stay.

I really enjoyed our stay at the Point. We got the one bedroom suite, and it came with a full kitchen, balcony, and large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. I really liked that you could close off the bathroom from the bedroom because it allows for more privacy (and stops family members from running through your room at night to go to the toilet.) A lot of suites I've stayed in haven't had this option. The room was also very clean- you could smell it when you walked in, but also see it. I felt comfortable enough to walk around barefoot which is something I never do in a hotel room, and my feet weren't black and dirty! So I know they clean the floors on the regular, which is also unusual for such a large hotel. The view was great, and I was thinking about how nice it'd be to just rent out one of these suites as a residence! The entire hotel has a calm aura to it, and the staff are very warm and welcoming and are ready to assist you with any needs you may have. We WILL stay again!

Staff service seemed to be non existent. We had to ring the bell upon check-in...This place calls themselves a "boutique resort" but obviously is just leeching off the rest of the city. Ok - so we booked a double king bed room for three nights and left after two. I called the front desk right after we entered the "suite" because I was nervous that they would charge me the $250 for smoking in the room since it smelled like lingering cigarette smoke & there were burn holes all over the carpet. The room was dingy, stuffy and there were scuff marks all over the walls and doors. The bathroom had no exhaust fan. And they only provided one small bottle each of shampoo and conditioner. Coffee was terrible. The one "leather chair" had no wheels and both arms were torn up looked like they'd been destroyed by cats. Food closed at 8pm and there was no room service available. They also advertised free shuttle service to universal studios but when we arrived the person at front desk said they'd discontinued it and actually had the gall to suggest hopping over to another hotel to use theirs. Haha... This place is located right on the edge / outskirts of the main hub. Just wasn't at all what I expected. Nothing about this place says "resort" - don't go. It was really dirty.

If you don't follow your GPS like it's the voice of God, you'll drive past this place at least 10 times wondering if you're being pranked. Once you finally find it, though, you're in for a surprise. The hotel is attached to a magnificent steakhouse and gives off this classy vineyard-patio vibe that makes you feel like you're about to attend a wine tasting, even if you're just there for work like I was. Walking up, there are beautiful outdoor tables with glass tops where guests can relax, eat, and pretend they're important. Then you walk into the lobby and BAM dark wood floors, elegant furniture, comfortable sofas, and enough atmosphere to make you wonder, Wait what did I accidentally book? I was honestly concerned I'd somehow clicked the wrong hotel and was about to max out my credit card. Nope. Surprisingly affordable. The room? Fantastic. You've got a Keurig machine ready to fuel your caffeine addiction, a nice big TV, all the amenities you need, and then there's THE BED. Listen, I don't know if it's a pillow-top, a cloud-top, a Sleep Number, a NASA mattress, or if angels personally fluff it every afternoon, but that thing is dangerous. I laid down for what felt like five minutes and woke up the next morning. I slept harder than a newborn after a bottle. Now let's talk about room service. They have this little stand where you order directly from the steakhouse downstairs. I ordered dinner, expecting hotel prices that require a small bank loan. The bill was $35. I nearly called the front desk to report a pricing error. Meanwhile, I was hungrier than a hostage, and they delivered a meal fit for royalty. For a brief moment, I genuinely felt like a VIP. The hotel also has a nice bar for those who enjoy a drink. I don't drink, but if I did, I probably would've celebrated finally finding the entrance. Bottom line: great atmosphere, beautiful property, comfortable rooms, amazing food, affordable prices, and a mattress that may have supernatural powers. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Would I still need GPS to find it? Also absolutely.

We were able to go out and about without worrying about driving, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The hotel was easy to find, and parking is conveniently located right across the street with simple in-and-out access (though, of course, there is a parking fee -- which is never fun). Inside, the hotel is very clean, beautifully decorated, and the staff was accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was on the fifth floor, which I actually prefer when staying in a city -- the higher up, the better to avoid street noise. One of my favorite features of Embassy Suites is the room layout. The separation between the living room and bedroom is ideal, especially if someone wants to rest while others are still awake. The rooms have consistently been clean and feel very homey. Everything was great -- until Sunday morning. This is a dog-friendly hotel, which we love since we bring our dog and take her on walks so she's not stuck inside all weekend. However, checkout morning was pure chaos. One of the two elevators was out of service, it was peak checkout time, and there was also a princess pageant event happening, so the hotel was much busier than usual. Trying to get downstairs with my dog was extremely frustrating. I looked for stairs but wasn't sure if they were alarmed. When I asked an employee to confirm, she looked at me like I had five heads, which didn't help my already thin patience (I definitely did not have enough coffee for that situation). I eventually just went downstairs. Coming back up was even worse -- the line for the single working elevator was ridiculous. When I asked the front desk about the stairs, I was told they were accessible from outside. I didn't realize I needed my key card to re-enter through the outdoor stairwell (which makes total sense -- I was just aggravated at that point). After going back inside and trying again, I ended up walking up five flights of stairs with my dog. Thankfully, we had requested a late checkout, so we avoided the absolute peak of the chaos. Our friends on the third floor ended up carrying their luggage down the stairs because waiting for the elevator wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, being on the fifth floor with a lot of luggage, that wasn't really an option for us. Aside from that stressful morning, we really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary evening happy hour with drink tickets and small bites is always a highlight. We also had breakfast on Saturday morning -- and honestly, the breakfast is a major deciding factor whenever we choose to stay at a Hilton. Overall, a great stay with one very frustrating checkout experience.

The hotel and pools are pretty nice -…read morekind of a 50s/60s vibe, though, the pool area was quite loud and crowded - couldn't help but hear other people's expletive-ridden drunk conversations while I watched my kids swim. The food: the bowling alley is probably one of the best food options on site (other than the Starbucks) - the salad there was actually quite good and not crazy expensive (though, everything is expensive). We also enjoyed milkshakes from the malt shop. The room was fine - we had a suite with a little kitchenette and it was spacious enough for a few days. **My only real complaint (and the reason for my lower review) was the quality of the furniture. My daughter was leaning against one of the end tables to plug something in on the other side the night before we were hitting Epic Universe early, and it collapsed below her. She fell on top of it and some portion of it punctured her leg (we think a metal pin that was poking out from one of the broken legs). We contacted hotel management, and they came with hotel security who did some basic first aid and took away the broken tables (the other one also broke from her fall). We're grateful she wasn't injured more seriously (at least that we know of yet), but it could have been so much worse if that pin had punctured a more delicate area of her body. It also definitely made the next day at the park a lot harder for her with leg pain, etc. They really need to upgrade/inspect the furniture to make sure it's safe for guests.
