    Upkeep, clean and modern....

Low space:price and quality:price or amenities:price ratios. Outdated and poorly maintained. There are way better options around. No empathy for tenants during COVID. In addition, there is no minor amount of crime and delinquency within the area.

Here is a copy of the price for the detached garage! Good luck getting the same price if you show up in person!

It's mostly about your money…read more I lived here for 3 years and here's my honest feedback. Good Things: 1. Location - close to Metra, Jewel and downtown Arlington Heights. Lot of restaurants to choose from. This is what you're mostly paying for. 2. Quick maintenance - I only faced minor issues with the apartment that was promptly resolved by the maintenance staff. 3. Social events - The management organize events (free pizza, stream big games) for those who want to socialize. Bad Things: 1. Only heating or cooling - The building can only heat or cool, not both. So when the weather is changing, this can be very inconvenient especially if you're working from home. 2. Paper thin walls - You can hear EVERYTHING your neighbor does. I'll leave it at that. 3. Not the most helpful staff - Yes, the staff are friendly but that's unless you have a real problem. My mail got lost twice and the staff did nothing to help. They basically put their hands up saying check with USPS, while USPS said check with your building. Staff said they would ask the mailman and follow up, but nothing like that happened. 4. Moving out charges - I had to relocate for work and broke my lease about 2.5 months early. I did the exact same thing when I relocated from Philly to Arlington Heights 3 years ago. The difference? Hancock took all the rent despite me not being there + a ridiculous cleaning feeing fee. How much did I pay for the other relocation you ask? $0! The rental agency in Philly asked me to find another tenant and would only charge me for the time that the apartment was empty. Fair enough. Hancock offered nothing of the sort, just wanted the money and that's it. I'm ok with paying the rent money because I signed a lease but if they cared even a little bit about their tenants, couldn't they just have taken the cleaning fee from the rent when I wasn't even in the apartment? So yeah, they just want your money. 5. Rent & lease term - Only keeps going up and gets longer. Don't expect any friend prices here.

The layouts are fantastic, the neighbors are friendly, and there are too many amenities to count. I was sad I had to move but grateful I chose this community over the others. Nice apartments. I…read moream not a resident, but we toured the property to determine if we were interested. Here's what I think you should know. They have several different styles of apartments here. They have your typical apartment, which is in a larger building. These don't typically have a walk up entrance, more like shared entrances or stairs. They are also usually on 1 floor level...so you won't really see 2 story units. The buildings themselves may be multiple stories but each unit is 1. The layouts are nice and they do a pretty good job of keeping them clean. I wouldn't call these luxury apartments, but I believe they do call them that. I would consider them average. They have some nice upgrades that people like, such as stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and wood flooring. Another type of apartment here is more like a townhouse. They look like townhouses, and have their own walkup. These are usually 2 story units, and also have a small back yard. These are great for those with pets that need a small area of grass. Good for families too if you want a play area for the kids. I don't believe any of the apartments have attached garages. It seemed like it was mostly street parking and assigned parking, but I believe garage spaces are not attached and you pay extra. Worth checking out.

Package room is always crowded, and confuses a lot of delivery people. Have to pay for a parking pass and no one wants to pay for the premium spots that cost a lot more leaving unused parking in the lot. Had to put covers over HVAC vents on first floor for AC to reach 2nd floor in townhome in the summer. Overall not bad, but just some cut corners that become more annoying over time. Also a move out cleaning fee despite our unit reeking of dog when we first moved it.

Rent it way too high for these tiny apartments and being forced to listen to your neighbors. In response to management's comment below, I wish someone had told me about the music and noise issue before I had moved in, even though I asked Isabelle specifically about it when I toured. I'd love to go to bed right now at 10:30pm but I can't with the bass bumping through the wall.

First off, when you first get approved and are able to check out the demo apartment you will probably love it and what not, but that's not what you're getting though. The demo shows the upgraded units however you may not get one as they are occupied.so why show something that isn't even the actual unit one will be getting? When you move in you have a checklist to fill out with any details or damages you may see or find but that's just to let them know about them. When you have an issue, whether is a closet door not closing or jamming you call maintenance but all they do is just literally lift the door and that's it. The issue comes back the same day. Issues "fixed" are not permanent just temporary. Is this what you want? Also the air vents are letting a lot of air escape therefore not flowing properly upstairs. Who installs an air vent right by the entry door?? Of course you're gonna be letting all the cold air out every time the door opens.just terrible planning when they made the units. Additionally you may need a lot of lamps as there is only 3 light fixtures on the whole apartment not including the two bathrooms lights. The closets do have lights but they are not bright and location of lights are bad. On the snowy days, maintenance don't even start plowing until after 8am, most people leave for work earlier than that and the whole parking lot is just an iceberg, I've seen people fall due to the area not getting plowed. Almost as if maintenance wakes up late for work. The headache to just get a response from the office is crazy. 3 girls in the office and only one of them knows her stuff. Then you will walk down a hallway past the mailboxes to the elevators. My friend had a one bedroom apartment. The layout was nice if not compact, but my friend was happy with it. He especially liked how close it was to downtown Arlington Heights. From the hallway you could hear the neighbors being noisy but you couldn't hear from inside the apartment.

First lets start with the positive aspects. The tower is located in a great spot for downtown…read moredining and entertainment. It has easy access to the Arlington Alfresco and live music. The people living in the building are very nice and friendly. Michael and Al with the staff are great people and very helpful. The workout room and pool are also a great addition along with the dog washing station. Now the negative aspects, the building is older and only has 2 elevators to accommodate hundreds of people. During the prime times or when someone is moving in you are reduced to long wait times which is annoying. The laundry facility although newer still does not clean the clothing and it smells when it comes out. Even fabric beads does not help. I suspect being high efficiency its a lack of water issue in the machine as the clothing barely feels wet coming out of it. My dishwasher never came close to cleaning the dishes even after pre washing them first. Another selfish and dangerous practice is the building manager parking her vehicle blocking the loading and unloading ramp that effects the elderly and handicapped people along with parking full time in the fire lane that is used for a ladder truck to set up and rescue people off balconies during an emergency. This was brought to her attention several times and she did not care enough for the tenants or elderly to move her vehicle. Entitled I guess and not setting a good example for others. Here's the big deal killer. The building is loaded with cell towers on various sides with some being 5G networks. One set of towers was located above my balcony and bedroom. These were installed secretly and tenants were lied to about what was happening. Myself and my dog began experiencing many health concerns that never happened to me prior. I hired a Midwest expert to measure the EMF waves and they were off the chart on her testing equipment. She stated she has never measured readings that high and suggested I move immediately. To be fair to the new owners purchased the building with the towers already installed. I relocated to a new building with no cell towers and could not be happier.
