Businesses remain open during the event and offer specials such as discounts and free samplings of their products. Lots of free private and street parking. People walk up and down the boulevard browsing stores, avail of samples and discounts, buy food and desserts from the trucks, etc. They come in groups, either with family members or circle of friends. A lot of people also bring their dogs along with them for a good walk. Credit cards are accepted. My dad loved his bone marrow taco (Huesi taco) which was a huge bone and came with pickled red onions and cilantro. I got a sample plate which came with a soft taco (suave), hard taco (dorado), and a soft taco with cheese (quesi taco) in addition to an 8oz consommé (broth). The quesi taco was my favorite one - the cheese goes so well with the consommé and it's so tender and flavorful I'm getting hungry just writing about it.
