Skip it! When I came in, I was greeted. Then I was looking at the menu to figure out what I wanted, but I came here knowing that I wanted Peruvian food. If you eat Peruvian, you already know what you must have, and the must-have is always the Chaufa de Pollo, so for sure I ordered that. Then I ordered the two things that are standing out on the menu, huge pictures, the surf and turf burrito and the fish taco. Horrible food, way too salty, way too wet for chaufa. It was so bad that i couldn't eat it, thinking I might be able to save it, took it home and used an extra 100% rice to mix it in, still was too salty! And wet?! So much liquid leaked from it too, at least a cup of "sauce." The fish taco was ok, how can you go wrong? Deep fried fish and hand-made tortilla. But for the price? C'mon, I expected better. The burrito was not good and not worth that price too! Who is cooking back there? Horrible food!!!! Don't go here unless you want to waste money on bad food.

I went with my husband on a Saturday for lunch, and we both ordered the lomo saltado. The food was amazing--so tasty, and the meat was juicy and tender. The sauce they use for the meat was outstanding. The service is nice; you order at the counter and then find a table, which was pretty easy. I'll definitely go back. We parked in front of the restaurant, and it was pretty easy to find a spot.

This spot has the crunchiest crispiest tacos for those who prefer a hard shell! But don't sleep on their queso birria tacos either. greatly seasoned, tender and juicy! they have a handful selection of sodas and beers. We also ordered their chili relleno burrito - I wasn't very fond of it. wayyy too much rice the relleno got lost in it and barely any cheese. it was a pretty big size but sometimes.... less is just more.

Came here for the first time and we'll definitely return! Not only do they offer Mexican food but also Peruvian! We had to try their saltados. My fiancé got the surf and turf Saltado and i ordered the chicken saltado. It was delicious! Great flavor and they give great portions! The green sauce always add some spice. Bummed they don't give bread here like other Peruvians spots do but other than that 10/10 It got busy as we were leaving so we came at a great time. Our friends ordered some tacos and their favorite was the mole taco! We'll rerun because i want to try the California burrito next.

A coworker recommended this spot and today finally was my chance to swing by. I noticed I could order ahead online, but inside, they had an order kiosk that made it really easy! I kept it simple and got 2 asada tacos. So much of the menu looked SO good, but I was by myself (no one to split things with) and not terribly hungry. NEXT TIME! The tacos were great! The handmade tortillas really stood out and I was excited to try them. The salsa had great spice and flavor. Overall, I can't wait to go back and try some of their other menu items. Inside, it is small, but plenty of seating. My food was served on a paper plate, but that was just fine. This is not fine dining, but that's not what I'd want from a great taco or burrito spot! They have a lot of drink options as well, from cans of Diet Coke (YAY) to jarritos! And even some bottled beer to go. I'll be back!

The "Taco Tuesday" special they did not honor on Tuesday.
    David P.

Very disappointing. I stopped by for "Taco Tuesday" but they did not honor the specials listed on their own website. She said "he didn't put it in the computer. REALLY? Not worth fighting over, so ordered 2 tacos at full price. The hard shells were overcooked and brown. The ingredients were just "okay" Not going back

Hands down the best tacos in town. Bar none. Killer salsas to boot! I'd eat them everyday if I could.

    Yes

Is this location open for dine-in? Will they accommodate a party of 10?

Yes they do have dine-in and the largest party i’ve seen enter the dining area was a party of 6 but i’m sure they’d take 10 as well, of course it’ll take a bit longer.

Are your tortillas FRESHLY MADE ON SITE like so many other places in LA or are they premade and delivered? Thank you.

Yes they do make their tortillas fresh!

    Saturday and Sunday

Is the pop-up taco stand still happening? We've driven by a bunch of times and it's never there.

Due to city issues we had to move the stand. The closest is 5600 Vineland ave , noho or 801 s victory Blvd Burbank

It looks like everything has soy sauce in it. Are there gluten free options?

Yes they have gluten free options

    Is there gluten free options?

Yes. My daughter is allergic to wheat (anaphylactic) and she enjoyed a full meal without any issues.

I'm old school, so I called the restaurant directly to place my pickup order. The gentleman who answered the phone was very nice, friendly, and polite. My husband had the Chaufa de Camarones. It had lots of shrimp and it was seasoned well. My daughter had the Chaufa de Pollo which she loved. We also ordered the Flan which was good but not as good as the Tropicalazo. The robot server was cute. It brought the food out to your table. We would definitely come back here again. The food didn't disappoint and was delicious.

They were all really good, and I liked that they let me choose from three different sauces/salsas to go with them. Everything came out quickly and was packaged really well. They even included a list showing which empanada was which, which I really appreciated since they all looked pretty similar once they were in the box. We had been to this small quaint and beautiful little restaurant in Montrose before and wanted to try it again. We loved their little Spanish style courtyard, the tapas, paellas, and the setting felt so good for little date night after being away for so long. Unfortunately things did not go as planned. We made reservations for 7:15pm and were hardly even greeted by the hostess that seemed she'd rather be elsewhere then to welcome us to Casa Cordoba. Problem was though even after setting the reservation time and arriving exactly at 7:15pm we weren't seated for 15min even though we saw our table being cleaned and set and just sit there unoccupied for over 15min. So we waited. When we finally sat down...our server didn't come by for another 10-15min. But we were patient and we waited. Alvin finally came -- brought us water and opened the wine we brought. A special one for this type of occasion (corkage fee was $30). We ordered the paella with squid ink and seafood since it takes up to 45min to prepare and sat down to enjoy the wine and take in the setting. That night they had live music -- a guy on an acoustic guitar playing some cool songs, from Maroon 5 to Backstreet Boys on a 12 string...at least it was live. It was pleasant. The server didn't attend to us much and just had an air about him. Idk -- they may have been super busy but wasn't sure. Finally the paella came. It was...good. Not plentifully. 7-8mussels, a quarter of an octopus tentacles, and a couple of calamari. If you're thinking that much it and rice then you're right. It was mainly rice. No vegetables accompanying it but that's the dish. That was $57 for the small version. I've made paella before. It takes time and it's a production -- but at least at home I can make one for half that price for 8 people. Maybe that's why we don't go out so often bc it ends sometimes like this. We expect a nice meal, a welcoming host or hostess, a server who enjoys the food and atmosphere and makes us feel at home, and food that we could never prepare at home. It's suppose to be an experience that you are happy to pay for. This wasn't. We were disappointed and just felt like wanting to leave. The last straw was when I signed the check on a toast machine and asked for the printed copy. The server, Alvin just left the toast machine with us and left -- attending to others and leaving us with this machine. All I wanted at the end was a thank you for dining with us and the printed copy. We had to flag another server for that copy. He eventually came, with disdain written all over and just handed me the copy, as if I had taken his time to get my the receipt which I asked. That pretty much did it. I asked to speak with the manager and was told--"oh sure. I can get him--he's the chef, give me a minute." I was floored!! No wonder!!! The chef. The back of house manager is also the front of house manager!! That says a lot. You're front of house and your guests are not being taken care of? What kind of restaurant is this? With these prices? Regardless that was it. We left -- had some great ice cream and spoke about the whole experience all the way back home. Great date night eh? Not returning.
