Hands down the best tacos in town. Bar none. Killer salsas to boot! I'd eat them everyday if I could.

Came in here with my wife when I saw they were on the InKind app and I was glad I did! The place has got a fun vibe inside, with painted murals, good music, and plenty of seating. When we came in, it was moderately busy, but we got our order in quickly. There is parking out front on the street that's plentiful...not sure if they have a parking lot or not nearby. This place is interesting because it does Mexican faves like tacos and burritos and some Peruvian classics like lomo saltado. When we saw that was on the menu, we had to get it. They give a generous portion and the flavor is great. The meat was tender and the sauces take everything to the next level. I am a sucker for a good lomo saltado, and they delivered! We'll be back! This place came highly recommended by a friend, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The meat is incredibly flavorful, and you can tell everything is cooked with care. I ordered the asada taco, and the smoky flavor from the grill really stood out. I also tried the al pastor taco, which was delicious, but my favorite was definitely the chicharrón taco. It was perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. Their guacamole was fresh and absolutely on point! My husband ordered the surf and turf burrito with asada and shrimp. It was well-seasoned, full of flavor, and the portion was so generous that he only finished half. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the overall experience was excellent. This spot is easy to find and has ample seating inside, and its own parking lot (in addition to easy street parking nearby, making it highly accessible). The ambiance is reminiscent of an 80s fast food restaurant, with fixed tables and bench seating. Although it was lunchtime, there were plenty of tables and chairs for us to choose from. I had seen photos online of their asada burrito, and I was so excited to try it! It looked amazing. I added the chile relleno burrito on the recommendation of the woman who took our order, which also looked fantastic. Well, for starters ... the burritos didn't look like that in real life. The prices are pretty high for what you get. Our burritos were missing the "free guac" that they tout, which was disappointing. And unfortunately, the quality of the meat was pretty mediocre - our steak was largely chewy and there were large pieces of gristle and/or fat, which made for an unpleasant bite. Flavor-wise it fell flat, too. The carne asada burrito and the chile relleno burritos were pretty bland - and they shouldn't be! Mexican food is known for its flavor! Sigh. Finally, the burritos were poorly wrapped and tore almost immediately, falling to the plate and necessitating a spoon or fork, which defeats the purpose of a burrito. Service is somewhat slow, so you would think they had plenty of time to season the food and properly wrap it. I'm not sure what happened, but I doubt I'd return. Bummer. We ordered Pablito's for delivery on a Friday night. We had previously been there for take-out a year or 2 ago but apparently I never wrote a review for it. Located on Burbank Blvd just past Hollywood Way on the way to NH. I believe they have a small parking lot on the side but we've always found parking right out front. I was craving a burrito and I ordered a carne asada california burrito ($15.99) Also ordered were carne asada queso tacos ($4.75 ea), crispy ground beef taco supremes ($3.69 ea), birria taquitos platter ($16.99), birria consome ($3) and birria tacos ($4.25) The california burrito was good. It had a good amount of carne asada and it came fries, onions, cilantro & cheese. It was tasty when you add their green sauce to it. It made for flavorful bites with a kick. Everyone else was satisfied with their orders. The birria tacos were good and so were the crispy tacos. The queso tacos got a little oily especially after being in transit. Looking to try a vampiro next time or a lomo saltado plate. read more

Skip it! When I came in, I was greeted. Then I was looking at the menu to figure out what I wanted, but I came here knowing that I wanted Peruvian food. If you eat Peruvian, you already know what you must have, and the must-have is always the Chaufa de Pollo, so for sure I ordered that. Then I ordered the two things that are standing out on the menu, huge pictures, the surf and turf burrito and the fish taco. Horrible food, way too salty, way too wet for chaufa. It was so bad that i couldn't eat it, thinking I might be able to save it, took it home and used an extra 100% rice to mix it in, still was too salty! And wet?! So much liquid leaked from it too, at least a cup of "sauce." The fish taco was ok, how can you go wrong? Deep fried fish and hand-made tortilla. But for the price? C'mon, I expected better. AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I tried to order online because the taco Tuesday special was advertised, but was unable to place the order because of some issue on their site. I tried calling the restaurant, but the phone kept ringing with no answer. I decided to go into the restaurant to order, only for the lady at the register to tell me they won't honor the price that was given to me online. (I even showed her the screenshot of my online cart) I decided I might as well order since I was there anyways, but the lady working the counter decided to pull people who were behind me in line and start taking their order instead. Came here for the first time and we'll definitely return! Not only do they offer Mexican food but also Peruvian! We had to try their saltados. My fiancé got the surf and turf Saltado and i ordered the chicken saltado. It was delicious! Great flavor and they give great portions! The green sauce always add some spice. Bummed they don't give bread here like other Peruvians spots do but other than that 10/10 It got busy as we were leaving so we came at a great time. Over priced. $6 for a "large" agua that is clearly a medium. I got the pineapple lemonade and it was not sweet, and very thick. I got the Al pastor taco which wasn't bad. This place is so great! I always leave feeling satiated and satisfied. Paula... or Paola (I wasn't sure if I head correctly over the music playing) is so kind. Her energy is very bubbly and she is very attentive, kind and has a smile that made me want to smile. The food here is impeccable. My go to tacos are the carne asada, and the lomo saltado. A coworker recommended this spot and today finally was my chance to swing by. I noticed I could order ahead online, but inside, they had an order kiosk that made it really easy! I kept it simple and got 2 asada tacos. So much of the menu looked SO good, but I was by myself (no one to split things with) and not terribly hungry. NEXT TIME! The tacos were great! The handmade tortillas really stood out and I was excited to try them. The salsa had great spice and flavor. Overall, I can't wait to go back and try some of their other menu items. Inside, it is small, but plenty of seating. My food was served on a paper plate, but that was just fine. This is not fine dining, but that's not what I'd want from a great taco or burrito spot! We used to really love this place. They had GREAT Chicken Mole Burritos that we'd crave (still do, sometimes) and the vibe was fun and hopping inside. Then, Covid hit and everything changed. Obviously, for everyone, I know, but they never seemed to recover, or want to get back to the original vibe. I'm guessing they are just doing a ton of delivery and pick-up orders, because it's always dead inside and just feels weird now. We still go a couple times a year, but the food just isn't the same. Pablito's Tacos is an acquired taste. They have an extensive menu of tacos both hard and soft, burritos, quesadillas, but also burgers, sandwiches, nachos and tachos. Their flavor profile leans toward the spicer side, which in many ways compensates for the lack of seasoning with some of their proteins. You can definitely taste the unhealthiness of their cooking, which is expected for their menu. The service at this location was minimal and to a degree expected as we ate in, but saw many patrons stopping in for pick up orders. You order off of a iPad type of machine and the orders are automatically brought to your table. This location is no frills, offering fountain drinks but from behind the counter. Overall, the vibe of Pablito's is one of street food meets counter service, with a little identity crisis. I probably won't go back, but it was worth trying. read more

This is my second time at Pablito's Tacos. Only this time I went in and sat down for a meal. The lady who took my order was Alejandra and she was very nice and made great suggestions. For example, if you want crispy tacos, you can have either ground beef or shredded beef. I ordered the shredded and boy was it good! Be sure to bring your patience because excellence takes time. They cook each meal as it is ordered. Everything is so fresh, tasty, and delicious! You might want to try the Mexican rice because it's wonderfully flavorful. The strawberry lemonade was sweet and juicy. Inside the restaurant, there are several seats and tables with lots of colorful scenes painted on the walls. It's very clean and the best part is it offers great shade from the hot sun. There's a small parking lot next to the building, which is certainly convenient. Fuck this place, ordered food in the app at 6pm. Says it'll take an hour to get to me. 7pm rolls around and nothing, I call, go straight to voice mail, call again, straight to voice mail. Every order was very salty and the quesadillas were also soaked in oily wet sauce it took 4 layers of paper towel to absorb it. Went here after a friend recommended it and she was right. I got the fish and shrimp tacos and they were great. The churros were fantastic. I'll definitely come back. The menu is a bit difficult to read and understand, especially if you're not familiar with Peruvian food. It may be helpful to try to look at it ahead of time. Also, you order at a kiosk. This was my first time coming to the actual location of that started it all and it did not disappoint. I saw on instagram that they offer a party pack of wings and tacos. I ordered them on their website for pickup and I was surprised at how fast it was ready for pick up. The service was quick and the presentation of the food was outstanding. Everything was packaged very nicely and the amount of sauce they gave was perfect for the amount of food given. Ordered a bunch because we were excited to try the menu. We got the pastor mulita, chicharron/carnitas tacos, carne asada taco, and the chicken mole taco. Pastor had a really strong porky flavor and lots of pure fat pieces, so we didn't enjoy it. The chicken mole tasted off, like sawdust. The chicharron/carnitas and carne asada tasted average - nothing really special. Would've given this one star if it wasn't for the really nice service and the amazing green salsa. The rice was just like other rices. The beans had some spices and loaded with flavor I just couldn't stop eating the beans. The chicken came with onions and topped with cilantro. This chicken was juicy and had so much flavoring. The portion size was way more than expected. I saw this on TikTok last night and I just knew I had to get here ASAP. To be fair I think they went to the North Hollywood location, but I saw this one had higher ratings and I was in the area so I decided to go. From the first bite I was disappointed because why is the rice undercooked? Then I was thrown off because why are there peas in my burrito? I honestly should have walked out when I saw the big sign that essentially said absolutely no refunds under any circumstances. If I hadn't seen that sign, I probably would've went right back in and asked for my money back but I was hungry and didn't feel like arguing. I guess the sign is effective. So I ate around the rice. The steak and shrimp were just... fine. The best part of everything was the sauce and I truly think without the sauce there would be nothing to redeem this large, but ultimately sad burrito. I decided to try Pablito's Tacos for the first time, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The person taking my order seemed very unsure of the process and had to call someone from the kitchen for help. That person then had to call someone on the phone to figure out how to ring up my order. It took quite a while, and I even felt the need to apologize to the couple waiting behind me. Our order was simple -- a three-taco plate, a michelada, a soda, and two extra tacos. When the food came out, we received the drink, the michelada, and the three-taco plate, but the two extra tacos were missing. When I mentioned it, the staff seemed rather indifferent and didn't offer much of an apology. To make things worse, the total came to almost $40. I understand that prices have gone up everywhere, but for that amount, I expected better service and attention to detail. It was also a bit ironic to see a sign about "additional fees to keep the kitchen and staff employed" when the service itself was so unorganized. Maybe this was just an off day, but based on this visit, I'll likely take my business elsewhere. Over priced (but what isn't nowadays), inedible, sloppy and missing items. Not sure what happened to this place but the quality, flavor, and customer service has really gone downhill. I placed a to-go order, checked it before we left and discovered 3 items totaling over $15 bucks were missing. Glad I checked. When I told the person behind the counter he quickly had them made, but no apology for the oversight or word spoken. Recommend checking your to-go order - they apparently don't. When I got home I was really disappointed with the sloppy taco construction and the flavor profiles (the attached photo is just one of 8 different tacos ordered). Half of the overloaded gloppy toppings were stuck to the top of the foil, and the tortillas were falling apart...so I dumped them in a bowl and ate it with a fork... Food was alright. Had an al pastor quesadilla and it was extremely greasy, flavor was ok. Got some asada tacos for my grandma and she wasn't a fan of them, they gave no lime or no good salsa. The salsas they gave were this red oily salsa and a light avocado looking green one that was overly salty, wish they gave the normal red and green salsa or at least as an option to purchase. Mind you the sauces are $1 each, I paid over $30 for a quesadilla, 1 regular agua Fresca and two tacos. Not sure if this is a place I would try again. read more
