There were a good number of tables and stands that each offer hand-crafted items. I got an awesome candle from yfsty candles and they were very nice and helpful in allowing me to smell all the scents before I finally picked one. The vibes here were fun and cool and it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. I can't wait to check out Flamingo Flea's at their next stop.

With a big goal of shopping local this holiday season, I stopped by their market on the Sunday after Black Friday to support shopping small businesses. I always love the vendors they have and got a good amount of holiday shopping done. Some of my favorite vendors this time around were Hailey Pancakes, Gypset Co, and the Slip-not headband company. If you get the chance to get Hailey's macarons, do it! She had amazing flavors like coquito (so gooooood) and strawberry cheesecake. They were true to flavor and not overly sweet. Gypset Co has beautiful dainty & minimal jewelry for you best gal friends. I am OBSESSED with Slip-not's headbands. The material is so soft and she has a variety of colors and patterns. There were so many vendors to show love to and buy from! I definitely recommend checking the Flamingo Flea at their next event, wherever that may be. What a great way to support local and get unique gifts this holiday season!

Shopping carts are available at the entrance. There's so much to see and do here. The assortment of food vendors here have every flavor you could possibly be craving. Little beer gardens are also scattered if you'd like a cold beverage while browsing. There's also lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. I found some delicious fresh lychees and a pink pineapple. Excited to cut into that! I was thrilled about the bathroom situation. I was expecting to see porta potties. Instead, there were clean, flushable toilets. Complete with a cleaning staff! This gave me the comfort of being able to eat, drink and browse in peace and not having to worry about finding a clean bathroom. 10/10

I enjoyed an arepa rellena de pollo from a Venezuelan spot along with mango with chamoy and tajin elsewhere. Others in my party got oysters, Jamaican patties and fresh juice from a Mexican stand. What was lacking was definitely the efficiency and service, some things we wanted to order we realized was not available or would take too long to wait for. Some businesses only had 1 person doing it all so unfortunately had to settle a lot and the food was average for the most part. This establishment is such a great spot for a day you want to browse for plants, buy some produce, try out some teas and so much more! Arriving here was very confusing as there was barely any signs or indication where to enter. Be prepared to walk a lot from the parking but also indoor/outdoor because there's so much to cover here. I'm eager to return and try other food spots along with maybe bringing some exotic fruit home or buying from a local business.

I did hear, however, that this was the last one of the current season. I've never been before, so it was nice to have a chance to stroll down the middle of the street between the displays and to see all their wares. The market stretched for quite a few blocks down Clematis Street which was closed to car traffic. There were a lot of people selling clothing and jewelry. A couple folks had collectibles/antiques. I'm not sure why it's still called a "green" market as we didn't see much edibles/food nor produce. The street was quite busy. I'm not sure how much selling the vendors were doing, however. I thought prices of many of the items were quite high. Then again the folks slumming from the "island" (palm beach) wouldn't mind a bit. Although we didn't buy anything, we always enjoy browsing.

Markets for Makers was originally founded in 2015 and have expanded to a few different locations. After speaking with some of the vendors, this Miami Market for Makers usually takes place at The Moore Building on a multi level indoor space. The outdoor market in the Miami Design District at Jungle Plaza seems to be a relatively new concept. They thrive on helping small businesses get to the forefront of the community. I love this. The outdoor space is stunning and the hosts of the event are incredibly organized and efficient. Love the space, decor, vendors and just about everything about this event. Keep an eye out on their website for upcoming dates as this is not a regular weekly farmers market type of event. The event taking place this weekend is Sat 3/20 and Sun 3/21. Happy to be able to attend this and check out all the cool vendors involved. They maintain safety precautions by asking all attendees and makers to wear masks at all times except when you're eating or drinking. There is a space with picnic tables for this. Tickets to attend the event start at $7 and kids under 12 are free. Buy your tickets for $7 online and get priority entrance otherwise it's $10 at the door without priority entrance. VIP tickets are also available for $15 but this is only available online and looks like the early bird pricing for this ended on 3/10. VIP ticket included priority entrance all weekend at any time, access to VIP preview hour on Sat at 11am-12pm before the general admission people arrive at 12pm. There are over 90+ makers displaying their coolest stuff at Market for Makers. Tons of cool photo Instagrammable photo walls around the event. You can text "MIAMIM4M" to 33222 to get the full map and list of all makers involved. Come out for a beautiful day outdoors and check out these cool makers. After you're done, stick around and walk around the Miami Arts District. You won't regret it. I can't tell you how much I love this outdoor market concept, especially during this time of Covid.
