Scrapbook supplies are not the only things sold here of course, there are t-shirts for decorating with decals, rhinestones, glitter or for transferring designs to embellish later. Treasured memories is also a matting/frame shop for custom framing. They have as large a collection as I think you can get for a store of this size. I think the owners will also transfer your photos, or home movies, or cassette tapes onto digital media. In other words, if this kind of "art" is your deal, then stop here. As much as ordering online is convenient, there's nothing like a tactile experience and supporting a small business is the best way to get the inside deals.

They have more fabric then anything in this store, and I wish there was a bit more choice in thread, but I was able to learn that I can have my machine maintained with a contractor in Cody who picks up your sewing machine and charges only half of what I used to pay elsewhere. I was just happy to have someplace local I can go when I need something on the fly. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that there are classed being taught regarding arts and crafts. The manager sent me across the street, and I talked with one of the teachers who put me on a list for a specific class I may be interested in. This store gets a 5 star rating for being local and for pleasant help within the store.

These guys are no longer back alley - they're full on legit on the Beartooth Highway. They're…read moremaking all the metal things you see around downtown Red Lodge- from the recycling bins to the trash cans along the road. These trash cans are made to be bear proof- they're virtually indestructible. The city and the county seems to have hired these guys to do a bunch of their work around this part of the state- you can see their distinctive style all over. They do that iconic Yellowstone look of silhouettes of mountainous animals like bears, elk or eagles for light fixtures or even the lowly recycling bin. They also do powder coating here! This operation is quite impressive, with the amount of metalwork that they're spinning out of this shop on Broadway, you can see their work everywhere around town! They have a showroom of a lot of their works, which is all quite reasonably priced, especially when you think about how indestructible all their work is! A large grove of aspens, divided by the trail, greet you on the hike and the wind whispering thru the leaves is a bit of heaven. I now look at the 4' x 18" painting I purchased last week and am taken back to the cabin and the smell of the campfire while listening to the aspens sing their song for me.
