I LOVE legends! Been coming here for years, whenever I'm in town, and it's easily one of my top 5 favorite bookstores. Great vibe, awesome selection, great staff--I always find something for myself (and usually for someone else, too) read more

This is s uch a nice independent book store. The selection of books is so well curated and the staff is knowledgeable about a variety of subjects. The gifts they are also quite fun. The coffee bar is so good and the prices are great. read more

Best cup of coffee you'll never find at your grandpa's diner. If you want a good cup of black hot boilin' wake you up sweet black gold coffee, then you have to go to this bookstore (it's oh so much more). Their manager is highly knowledgable about coffee and very passionate to the point where I know he's going places. Staff is friendly and very motivated about the written word of man and you can find or order anything your looking for book wise. They support and promote local authors which is sorely needed in this Internet age. Do yourself a favor and stop by Legends if you're in Cody. I only get back to town once a month and this is always my morning/early noon stop. read more

They had great selection of books - everything from the New York Times best seller to a regional history of the town of Cody. And if you don't like books they have trinkets, toys, and puzzles for all ages as well as a great coffee bar and a friendly staff. read more

I love a good independent bookstore and this is a great one! I was very excited to see a bookstore while visiting Cody recently. Although small, the bookstore has a good selection of books to match every taste. I found several titles I wanted to buy. The woman working was warm and welcoming. I would love to visit this store if I ever return to Cody! read more

History

Established in 2015.

Legends Bookstore, LLC is the brainchild of longtime Cody, Wyo. resident Teresa Muhic. A retired petroleum engineer and oil executive, Teresa recognized the need for a local bookstore in her adopted hometown. Upon finding the perfect location, she began laying the groundwork in the spring and early summer of 2015 for what would become Legends. Legends Bookstore is now open right in downtown Cody at 1350 Sheridan Ave. - where locals and tourists alike can find something to capture their imagination.

Meet the Business Owner: Teresa M.

Teresa moved to Wyoming in 1985. She and son, Kalyn, founded Legends Bookstore in 2015. Legends is the marriage of a love of reading and a desire to bring something positive to the Cody community.

For food we had apple turnover - perfect sweetness and tartness Sausage bomb- my son enjoyed the first few bytes but then towards the end he din't like the after taste Banana bread with choco chips- its was nice and moist Bagel with eggs - it was little dry but good with coffee . We will definitely go again for coffee and pastries!
