I bought my parents house. We have had two other liners since 1975. I upgraded to a thicker liner with these guys. Well.... three years later and I have problems. I called and spoke with George, he came out and took a look at the problem. He basically said call me in January and I'll see what I can do with the manufacturer. Basically below my slimmer the liner is fading and wrinkling. He said it was because of the clorine in the skimmer. We used Pool King 3 years ago to replace our pool liner in our in-ground pool. The liner was guaranteed for life. Three years later after closing our pool for the season our cover collapsed as we discovered the water drained out of the pool. We called Pool King and they sent a representative to assess the damage. True to their word they replaced the liner free of charge. While doing that I had them replace the stairs into the pool. The supervisor Nelson and his crew were very professional, respectful and did a wonderful job. They work diligently each day and at the end of each day cleaned up before leaving. Nelson is a perfectionist and it showed in the quality of his work. He was very accommodating in everything we asked him to do. Two years ago they charged almost $4,000 dollars to replace my inground liner with a lifetime warranty. My liner needs a resnap in five places surrounding pool. Made four phone calls with a promise of arrival no one showed. Six phone calls after that were completely ignored. Its been two years ive had this liner issue and they just ignore your calls. Will never refer them to anyone. What a shame! read more

The company installed the liner but never used a vacuum to keep the air out between wall and liner so the liner is so far out from the wall there will be problems down the road. The workers left when the water company came to fill the pool. Made many phone calls to have issued fixed no response until the wife of the contractor called me and told me that is not under warranty. Really, craftsmanship is warrantied. One should not use their wife to do the job that he should have done, call me personally and inform me. They know they are wrong so that is why they did this way. Well I am not giving up called BBB of Mass. and if I have to will take to smalls claims court. $4500 is a lot of money to just flush down the drain. This company is a scam. They lie to get your business, and then lie to avoid taking responsibility for their lousy product and workmanship. For CT installs, The people they send are incompetent sub-contractors (who arrive in an unmarked falling-apart truck, and are neither licensed or insured). Our liner began to fail during the first season. coming unsnapped in multiple places. Promised service never happened. The liner completely failed over the following winter. Less than zero effort from this company to do what they promise. You will be much better off working with a local (real) pool company and paying two to three times the Pool King price. Properly installed, good quality liners will last 8 years, minimum. Pool Kings liners go bad in less than one year. The "lifetime warranty" is a joke and goes unacknowledged. Pool liner king flat out is awful...I'm on week 4 of a simple installation.They make promises to be here and never show up. I have heard every excuse in the book! Unprofessional and lies! We had this liner installed this would be the third summer. We paid the extra money for the lifetime warrantee the liner is pulling out everywhere I have made numerous attempts to text the sales rep as well as the company directly. The sales rep never returned a text or a call and when I call the office they are Always telling me the salesmen are out. I have called The office at least a half dozen times and not one phone call has ever been returned like I said my liner is falling apart I paid $3600 for it And I supposedly have a lifetime warranty on it I have never been so disgusted in dealing with a company in my life stay away from this company and less you were looking forward to getting ripped off. I Totally agree with Ramona, phone calls go unanswered .But you are on the list HA . It will be a year in September making phone calls and asking for service. Soon the liner will be in the pool and who cares? They got their money so they are set and people who need the service get ignored. I think they are hoping the warranty will run out. Pool Liner King is great to work with UNTIL there is a problem especially if you have already paid them in full. Prior to our pool liner replacement (and of course payment) they were attentive and helpful (although our install did get pushed back several times (amounting to weeks later) because they were busy and had to keep pushing it back) After the install our liner ended up "popping out" of the holding track in two places. The guys came out to "fix" it and unfortunately I wasn't home at the time. Their fix amounted to stuffing little plastic tubing about 12 inches long into the tracks in the two areas where the liner popped out. This fix definitely keeps the liner in place in those two areas but is absolutely an ugly eyesore, to say the least. When I arrived home and saw their fix I was shocked to see such a shoddy fix, especially after spending over $5000 on this liner replacement and all the guarantees, warranties and customer satisfaction I was promised by the sales rep. And I am quite certain going forward that they will not honor any warranty or guarantee if anything major does arise in the future. I called Pool Liner King's offices right away to ask for someone to come out and repair the problem correctly, it would have been a simple fix to place this tubing around the entire perimeter of the pool track which would therefore not be an eyesore and would fix the problem. It took weeks and weeks to get someone to call me back about this, I called every single day. Finally, the woman who was actually the manager of my initial install called me back, after much back and forth about this she finally relented to have the guys come back out and install the strip I wanted around the entire perimeter. That was over two and a half months ago, and to this day no one has come out to fix it, and I'm certain they never will. I reached out again last week and again got no response. Pool season will be ending soon around here and I am sure my pool will be closed for the season without this fix taking place. My advice to anyone working with Pool Liner King; DO NOT PAY THEM IN FULL UNTIL AT LEAST 2-3 DAYS POST INSTALL when at that time you can be assured that there are no problems that arise with the initial installation. Once they are paid you will never be able to get satisfaction if a problem occurs. read more
