The popcorn is so bad. It tasted stale and was expensive. You could not sample before buying.

I love popcorn in all flavors and was excited to get some for me and for my neice/nephews. It's a small store front in Azusa. But it looks like they stay busy- two people came in after me. The owner was in preparing a pre-order of 175 x-small bags of kettle lorn. Both the owner and the guy behind the counter were helpful, informative and willing to let me sample whatever flavors I wanted. So many to choose from. I ended up getting 5 bags (Windy City mix, vanilla cupcake, blue raspberry, buttery caramel, turtle mix) and started eating them in the car to my sisters. I love that all the bags are resealable except the x-small. The bags are made of a thick plastic and the reseals easily! The Windy City mix is the caramel with cheese. Keith said he's going to be making his Chicago style which has the buttery caramel and cheese but hasn't had time. That should be amazing. He has traditional caramel and the buttery caramel which takes longer to make. The vanilla cupcake is sweet-but I love sweet. Like a vanilla kettle corn with white chocolate drizzle! The blue raspberry wasn't too sweet and not my fav but I thought my 5 year old nephew would love it. The turtle seems to be like a light caramel corn with chocolate caramel drizzle. I'll definitely come by again and try more flavors! Maybe more savory ones next time.

What a cool place and yummy popcorn…read more Ever since this spot opened in Bixby Knolls, I have been wanting to make a stop because I LOVE popcorn. First off, shout out to the owners dad who talked about his son's business and how he moved back to SoCal to help him out. To help support their business, I decided to but a few bags since I loved their story. Plus, the shop was cool, service was great, and you are immersed by the popcorn scent once you walk in. Most importantly, there are so many flavors and if you are undecided like I was, they allow you to try 3 flavors. After deliberation and going back and forth which felt like hours, actually 2 minutes, I ended up taking home Doritos Cool Ranch, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Dill Pickle. Doritos Cool Ranch: Tastes just like the chips, and as a matter of fact, there are chip crumbs throughout the bag which is a plus because it is one of my favorites. It's mind boggling how they can master the taste and trick your mind, thinking you are eating a bag of chips. Not too salty, popcorn was fresh, and the taste was perfection. By the time we realized, the bag was done and had us wanting more. Strawberry Cheesecake: Sweet but delicious. Definitely tasted like I was eating cheesecake. Cool tip-eat one of the pink and white kernels to get the true taste and be sure to savor it. Dill Pickle: I am not a fan of pickles but I would make an exception because it had a great taste. My boyfriend enjoyed this a lot, too. As soon as I tried one, it was as if I was eating a pickle but it wasn't overpowering. Overall, such a great experience and we will definitely be back to try out some other flavors. Plus, they take recommendations so be sure to submit what you want to see in the store.

The wife and I walked by here frequently as we're getting our steps in around the village. This…read moretime we had the grandkids with us and we were on a mission for ice cream. When we stopped in the line was extremely long, which is great for the local businesses. The store has three unique sections. Ice cream, candy, chocolate, gummy, worms, etc., and caramel apples. I'm not sure if the employee was happy with us, but we ordered from every section. It almost seemed like he wanted us to go back and get in line to order from a new section but we didn't. I had peanut butter and chocolate on a cake cone that was outstanding. The wife had chocolate chip on a sugar cone and she also enjoy it. The grandkids had a variety of different flavors and I have to assume they enjoyed it because there was none left. The daughter ordered a caramel apple with some topping on it that she thoroughly enjoyed. She also ordered an extra one that was sliced that she shared with all of us. It had caramel and nuts on it. Very tasty. We also ordered different chili, flavored gummy worms and gummy rings. The grandkids thoroughly enjoyed. In addition, had to try out the chocolates. Had the dark chocolate haystack wasn't too impressed with it. Had a couple of dark chocolate cashew clusters. The wife said they were very good. The three employees that were working behind the counter we're doing a great job keeping the line moving. They also offer a discount if you eat at saucy mamas beforehand and bring your receipt. If you're visiting the village and get a sweet tooth this is a great place to stop.

The line moved quickly, and it was well worth the wait. We ordered a two-scoop waffle cone, which was absolutely humongous and incredibly delicious. The portions were generous, the ice cream was rich and flavorful, and there were so many tempting flavors to choose from that making a decision was the hardest part. The staff was friendly and efficient, the prices were reasonable, and the lively atmosphere added to the fun. It was the perfect way to end a relaxing day in the mountains. We'll definitely be back for another scoop (or two!) the next time we visit Big Bear.

Chocolate I have eaten was creamy & delicious. This time I wanted to try a sandwich. Glad I did because it was fresh & delicious. It was refreshing with the splash of pineapple & mango pieces being a treat at the end of the drink. The 2-workers were very friendly & served me within 5-minutes after I filled out my sandwich order. Of course I got some chocolate to go but I gotta try the peanut brittle next time.

We ended up throwing everything out. So disappointing. Had to go to Cookie Crumble to satisfy the craving. Was trying to keep it local without going to a chain, but there was no comparison. Do better Village Candy. We want to support our local businesses but the quality has to be there.
