I waited approximately 15 minutes for a single juice, and during that time my order had not even been started, despite there being only one other customer in the restaurant. One employee appeared to be focused on tidying and cleaning rather than preparing customer orders, and another was brushing her teeth in the kitchen area, which I found extremely unprofessional and off-putting. The overall experience felt disorganized and inconsiderate of customers' time. Due to the unnecessary delay and the lack of professionalism, I ultimately canceled my order and requested a refund. Very disappointing experience. Edit in response to the owner: I don't believe it's rude to ask about my drink after waiting what felt like an unreasonable amount of time. I think most people would understand feeling frustrated by a long wait. That said, even if the wait time hadn't been an issue, seeing an employee brushing their teeth in the same area where food and drinks are prepared was extremely off-putting. Overall 2/5. Number of visits: 2. First visit 08/14 was great and we got peanut butter frappes. They were cold and tasty! So we left happy customers. Second visit 08/15 went back because it was clean and smelled like fresh fruit. Seemed promising... We ordered açai bowls. My husband got the the power acai, added strawberry and I got the Blue Temptation, add peanut butter and cacao nibs ($2 extra each). Both tasted good. My daughter got a small strawberry banana smoothie. Very refreshing! The issue was that they first forgot the peanut butter (totally acceptable, they fixed it once my husband pointed it out). But then when I was eating my bowl I realized it did not have cacao nibs. My husband had also pointed this out when he picked up our order and the employee said "they're on the bottom" but as I ate and scooped around I could see there were none in the bowl (it's clear). So I went in and politely asked if I could get some. The lady swore up and down they were in there, so I walked out and told my husband again," they're not in here". We paid extra and they are missing. because after having paid extra for each topping I expected it to be in there. When the manager refused to fix it, she just offered more fruit or a refund. I thought this behavior was really odd and terrible customer service. The employee would not admit that she skipped it. They acted like they were trying to fool us. We just wanted what we asked/paid for. I didn't want a refund or extra fruit. Didn't seem that hard, but she ended up angrily dumping the cacao nibs in my bowl and giving me a refund after politely returning and trying to get my husband calmed down. PS. We walked in expecting a refreshing boost, maybe a nice matcha, a solid smoothie. Instead, what we got was a bizarre science experiment gone wrong. First up: the "peanut butter" smoothie. They somehow managed to craft a drink that tasted like peanut butter excavated from a fossil site--millions of years old, dry in spirit but tragically still liquid. Paired with a peach that tasted like it had been run over emotionally and physically--watery, bruised, and clinging to its last thread of dignity. The flavor? Nonexistent. Just cold sadness with a hint of ancient protein. I had ordered a matcha, but what they handed me was a green smoothie masquerading as matcha, waving from a distance like, "Hey, it's me, Matcha, totally!" No it wasn't. When I asked for a redo, they went rogue again: made two to three inches of actual matcha with milk, then filled the rest of the large cup with ice like it was a high school play trying to pass for Broadway. The taste? Milk. That's it. The matcha was in there somewhere, maybe clinging to a piece of ice praying for rescue. It tasted like matcha on life support, whispering goodbye. By the end, it didn't even taste like anything. Just...water. The cup didn't have that rich green color you expect from a real matcha--it looked like spoiled milk with mold trying to cosplay as matcha. Very faint green. Very tragic. The only redemption? The açaí bowl. It was actually delicious. But even then, they tried to pull a fast one--said the peanut butter was "on the side" after it kept sliding off. But here's the kicker: they didn't tell us that. I had to ask where it was, and only then came the excuse like it was part of some grand plan. Spoiler: it wasn't. Whole thing felt like performance art in how not to serve smoothies. 10/10 for mystery. 2/10 for execution. read more

Unreasonably rude service, if you're going to charge a customer $15 for an açaí bowl and the customer is asking for a basic açaí bowl removing some items, why the up charge ? I asked nicely after looking at their menu if they do basic açaí bowls like just granola, blueberries and banana? She was rudely saying well, yeah but I would have to up charge you because they all come with the ingredients that are listed. I was shocked and then said okay so how much more would that be? And she seemed very annoyed of me I explained this is for a kid so that's why I'm requesting basic ingredients. I know that if she was in a better mood she would have been nicer about things and accommodate my very reasonable request. For the business owner please put a sign that says "no changes are able to be made" or "no customizations" thanks. Stopped by Juice Factory on Saturday during lunch hour, between sagging time during the Tour de Big Bear. I got their Pink Dragon bowl, which was their pitaya bowl. I prefer pitaya over açai because it is less sweet and it tastes better to me, more refreshing! I added almond butter so my total was $12 with change. There was no wait when I came. The employees are always so rude and act as if you're bothering them when you walk in. The prices are outrageous - $50+ for three smoothies and avocado toast! Juice Factory was one of my favorite spots. Still is however I don't live on the mountain anymore. But when I did, this was a weekly stop either during the week on my lunch break or on weekends for something refreshing and sweet! I loved that they can customize the smoothies and bowls to make them vegan friendly if you want. The bowls and smoothies are yummy! Service was fast and they are friendly. Not much seating inside but it is open and inviting inside. I preferred going during the week when it was less crowded. On weekends this solace does cause quite the stir. One of my favorites is the açaí bowl. They also have juices that are fresh and very healthy if you don't want all the extra sugar. I love me a detox juice! Cleanse my soul please lol Parking is not too bad. Just beware there's a donut shop in the same parking lot. So don't get distracted by the unhealthy fattening fried goods close by and stick with the healthy Juice Factory! read more

The smoothie and acai bowls are decent. But i will definitely not be coming back and i would not recommend this place to anyone. I came in with my family and ordered about $40 worth of items. The lady helping us had an attitude and also put very little granola in the acai bowls. I asked her if she could put more and she said $1 extra per bowl. Which i agreed and was still minimal. In the end i was to pay the remaining extra charges on my card since i rarely carry cash. She said i would have to spend at least $5 to use more card. I did have $1 cash to try to give to her but she still needed the dollar regardless of the $40+ i already spent. I ended up just spending the extra $5 just so i can get the f outta there. Good spot for a smoothie or açaí bowl! They offer many healthy choices, including some vegan options. Perfect after hiking around Big Bear or a refreshing snack in the hot summers. The Lava Flow & Hawaiian smoothies were bomb! I recommend either or if you can't decide but their other flavors sound good too. They make their smoothies fresh; I know because I watched them make it. This past labor day weekend, looking for a place to get some drinks, we spotted this little place at the end of the strip mall. The crowd didn't look too bad, maybe 5 people in front of us, so we proceeded to line up and gave our order. There were about 4 workers making juice in the back so i figured this would move fast. Lo and behold, we had no idea that the wait for 4 fruit shakes would literally up almost 1 hour of our afternoon!! I never waited so long for a drink in my life!! The shakes at least tasted fresh, but dang, they should give people a heads up before letting them place and order if they are that far behind. 5-10 minute wait is ok, but 45-1 hour, not acceptable. This place used to be so good! Especially their mangoneadas. Sadly it keeps declining. For $20 I should get a mangoneada, not just a mango smoothie. It usually has chamoy and Tajin. Supposedly they stopped the tajin cause they ran out. Today I have no idea what the damn excuse was but she hands us just plain mango. Do you not know how to make your own drinks!? Here's the KICKER!!! The employee agregues that it doesn't come with chamoy!! Ummm it says it on the menu board!! With attitude she continues to say,"It doesn't say it on my side." Really!!?
