Small place a little bit hidden away in Bozeman. We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. They needed to clean some tables to get us seated, but only took a few minutes. The people working here a very nice and they take their time with each guest which is great. If you're in a big rush this might not be the place for you. We ordered the classic and the classic light, some sides, coffee and tea. The food was excellent. Eggs were great, liked the chives on top, bacon was crispy and the side fruit tasted very fresh and wasn't the usual bland melon mix you get in lots of other places. Hash brown casserole was also great. The folks working here have a smile for me everyone. Please give this place a try. read more

Absolutely the sweetest people and the best food! I've been four times and have not been disappointed. I favor breakfast, which they do very well, but today I arrived at noon. The French dip is the best I have had. Sundays can be a bit of a wait, but worth it if you have the time. The prices are very reasonable and the quaint atmosphere is very comforting. My wife and I stopped here for breakfast. This place seemed classic for the area. Clean, humble, popular, good food, good portion sizes, prompt friendly service. If you're looking for a high dollar fancy place this isn't the place but if you are looking for a good place to eat I would recommend this place highly. My wife even liked the eggs Benedict which is hard to get right. I liked the thick sliced bacon and especially the hash browns. The potatoes were a mix of multiple shapes and sizes of potatoes with added ingredients which really impressed me. From the outside it's nothing to write home about but go inside and eat and you will write home about it. read more

This place is a wonderful little cafe in a quaint town. The inside is strung with porch lights giving it its name. We went on a Sunday so was a little busy but worth the wait. On Sunday they only serve breakfast which we wanted anyway. I had the basic breakfast. The eggs were cooked perfectly. It had a hash brown casserole that was delicious. I would also say the prices were great compared to high priced Bozeman. Definitely worth the stop! read more

Another metamorphosis for this locally owned cafe. The prior business at this location closed and created a void in this small town for lighter eating. With the opening of this place, next to the health club, there's now a gathering place that doesn't require a drive into Bozeman. The Porch at Nogans has becomes a breakfast, lunch, dinner go-to for the locals. Still with daily specials, Nogan's expanded the menu to include things that can be taken on the go for breakfast, some heat-at home-yourself items, and even the ever-popular Wilcoxson's ice cream that's always good for dessert, or a snack on a hot day. It's a cute cafe, with all the local gossip you have the time to listen to, available while you partake of the straightforward menu options, whether its breakfast, sandwiches, soups, salads or those daily specials that are a limited run lasting only until they (quickly) run out. The Porch also has coffee-shop like options, not surprisingly since I believe I heard someone say the Porch is also owned by the same people who run the coffee shop. Whatever you order, the portions are filling. I'm glad I ordered the small breakfast burrito, because even that was a hefty serving of delicious. The biscuits and gravy, ordered by the person at the next table, could sustain you for hours. I wasn't sure I understood the entire "porch" part of the name, but then I learned an upcoming change is outdoor seating. I'm not sure I've seen that elsewhere in this small town, so well done! The Porch At Nogan's clearly is a local establishment. It isn't visible from the interstate. It's on a side road, and doesn't have large signs. Unless you're from the area, or are familiar with this spot's previous iterations, you won't know it's there. Find it and enjoy the small-town atmosphere. read more

We went on Mother's Day and service was slow, but they had a sign both on the front door and at the cash register saying they're understaffed so that people who wanted faster food knew to go somewhere else. That is all I can ask! The service was friendly and the was both good and reasonably priced. Food drinks and even ice cream! read more

The best breakfast- hands down- that I've had in a long time. Great little place that is really clean. Nice that the local "good ole boys" hang out here. When I walked in, there were two large tables, neither of which had their food yet. I knew it would be a long wait. I saw the "grab and go" case and figured "why not". There were two burritos. I asked the server if it was the same burrito as on the menu (there was only 1 type of breakfast burrito) and I was assured it was. I paid and brought them back to the Airbnb. While I was gone, my husband made the coffee so when I got back, we were ready to sit down for a relaxing breakfast. The burrito was a good size - unfortunately it just wasn't a very good burrito. What I brought home was not the burrito on the menu. It was a large flour tortilla with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese and crumbled sausage all drowned in salsa - not even fresh salsa - it tasted like the stuff you pour from a jar. I unwrapped my burrito and tried to scrape off the salsa. The salsa was the only thing that had flavor - the sausage wasn't breakfast sausage and was nearly flavorless. I ended up throwing most of the burrito away. While my husband ate his as served, he thought it was bland and more tortilla than filling. We'll be back at the same AirBnb later this week. I will have to find somewhere else for breakfast. read more

Came in to eat with my elderly mother. She is a slow walker and couldn't decide where to sit, finally settled on a table. All staff members saw us enter and sit down. No one spoke to us. We sat for 20 minutes, watched a table sit down, get menus, drinks, order food. Staff passed by our table, made eye contact, did not offer a menu or even say hello. It is expensive to eat out these days. Having worked in restaurants, greeting the guest is rule number one. We never got to try the food, got up and left and not one word from any one. The food was absolutely delicious, the hash browns are by far my favorite!! There is a wide selection of coffees and various breakfast and lunch options, everyone was cheery and kind with great service, and the country music playing added to the already great atmosphere! A wonderful atmosphere, classic music playing, plenty of seating but the food and service was meh at best. My Vermont wrap was mostly lettuce, the chicken didn't have a lot of flavor and I'm not sure any dressing made it on. The potato salad was homemade but had some not-your-mom's herbs and spices that made it strange. Had to chance down our waitress- twice. But the carrot cake was delicious! The food tasted good, but being a coffee lover, I'm sorry to say that the coffee was really bad. Not only was it extremely weak, it was very bad quality. I asked for a shot of espresso which made it worse. The espresso was not good either. They really need to upgrade the brand of coffee and make it stronger. If you like bacon, then the bacon was really delicious; thick and crispy. Eggs were good as well. The potato casserole tasted good as well. So, if you don't mind weak, burnt tasting coffee, then try it out. The decor is nice with corrugated steel paneling and comfortable booths and tables. Waited over an hour for food with next to no service. It seemed like all of the food my party ordered had something wrong with it. I would be willing to show grace if we had some sort of consistency with service but we had two different waitresses. There was no communication between them so they lost our ticket as well. We had to waive them both down just to get anything for our table. Overall it was one of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant. I will never visit this place again. read more
