Amazing spot. It's small and gets crowded. We grabbed a bar spot that opened up. Bartender had skills and made good food suggestions. In and out in 60 mins. Great pre-theatre spot.

Great food and a lovely atmosphere. Had lunch at the bar and enjoyed the ensalata con queso de cabeza and the trio de bocadillos and the croquetas!! Delicious.

    Coffee after dinner was delicious.

My husband and I visited the Port House before a show. The atmosphere of this place is very warm and intimate. We tried several different tapas dishes and four different ports. I would recommend this to anyone who loves tapas ad port. They also have Madeira but we didn't try any. It is very small so make a reservation early!

I think I went in with expectations that were too high given how incredible the drink/port menu is and from what my wife had said about the paella. But everything was just OK and it was all rather pricey - I mean I get it next to theatres and all, but still. When we walked in, they were immediately pushing us to order food. It's all tapas style small plates and so we ordered the little paella but he kept suggesting more food so ew ordered croquettes almost to make the waiter go away. They were not good, they were just bad. Far too gooey and devoid of flavor. The paella we wanted was quite good though and a decent portion for such a small plate. The ports were all interesting in my flight. There were perhaps fewer differences between the types of port than I previously expected which was a little disappointing.

Start to finish a joy. We worked our way thru a wide variety of tapas in a lively bar with talkative bartenders. From the G&Ts to a bottle of bobal, we spent hours enjoying the evening, eating and drinking and ending the meal with a nice Quinta de Cranston port. Go- have fun- eat drink and b3 merry.

This place was great! The food and drinks were wonderful and the atmosphere is on point. They were able to work in our group of 7 last minute so that was greatly appreciated as well. Definitely recommend!

My husband and friends and I drank and ate here Saturday early evening. It's a bit annoying you can't make reservations for a party less than eight so you may have to wait a bit. We had to wait about 20 minutes when we arrived at 6:45pm which wasn't too bad. My husband got the port flight whilst we waited at the bar. For £12.50 it was a nice selection. We ended up getting seated upstairs. It's dim lighting, all candlelight which makes it a romantic atmosphere. The background music is not overwhelming: I heard some classic tunes and Maná which always makes me happy. The menu is quite comprehensive including a number of veg options. We got the iberico cheese plate for starters and whilst it was mild cheese as stated, with some lovely blue corn crackers, bread and honey, we still wish we had gotten the stronger Manchego. For tapas, I got the veg cannelloni and the stewed spinach. My friend got the shrimp and her son the fries and chicken skewers. But somehow we ended up with a duck cannelloni and a roasted duck leg although my friend swore she didn't order that (and as a veg I sure didn't). But the waitress was persistent and I think to avoid drama we just accepted the tapas. So really not the best experience with the heavy-handed waitress manner. That said our food was delicious! I loved the cannelloni and the spinach. They were both full of flavour. Service suffered a bit as well as it's quite busy and the seating manner is cramped. But overall I still enjoyed our experience although my friend was not pleased that empty tapas plates were not removed quicker. I could see her point.

Decent tapas place. Their grilled octopus was delicious. As as the crusted prawns. The bruschetta was okay and the bread with tomato paste and ham was not particularly good. The green salted peppers were excellent. The beer selection is a bit lame and the service was decent but not great. Still a decent place for a reasonable price.

Listen you crazy review followers; this is one place you just have to come and visit. For years on energy London trip I make my way here and every time I just am impressed. First, their wine selection is delicious. I have learned a lot about Spanish wines from these fine people here and went back to the US (yea sorry, I live over there), and looked for wines I tasted here. With great success. But also, their bites and food is so delicious. I mean really! The Flauta de Chorizo y Pimientos is so nice and with toasted bread. The Txistorras are so delicious. And the Empanadillas are just delicious. The atmosphere is nice, the service is good - the only thing is, don't tell me I can't be in here for more than 2 hours right when I walk in; tell me that when I get to minute 100... do come early though.

Dark, cosy, intimate and great food. The service is slow and light on attentiveness. The music is limited and on constant repeat. But, the food and ambience more then makes up for it and I would definitely return. Note, they don't take reservations.

Amazing food, wine & atmosphere! My Nana & I visited in 2017 & had a wonderful time here! I'm just now reviewing so I never forget the name.

The food and port are well worth it! Portion size is perfect to share a few plates and felt very authentic for Spanish tapas.

We had a very nice tapas dinner and sampled many delicious dishes. It's not just port wine.

Tapas was delicious - we had mushrooms, chicken with lemon, calamari, and then olives and manchego.
