My family had a very disappointing experience with Legacy Heights while my grandmother was a…read moreresident. From the beginning, many staff members made even the simplest requests feel like an inconvenience. It often seemed as though providing basic care was treated as a burden rather than part of their responsibility. Communication was consistently poor, and we always had to follow up multiple times to get answers or assistance. Unfortunately, the communication issues appeared to stem from the top. Our interactions with the Executive Director and the leadership team were often just as unresponsive as our interactions with other staff. It became clear that the lack of communication, accountability, and urgency started with leadership and trickled down throughout the facility. While it's easy to blame staffing changes or new ownership, our concerns existed before those transitions and continued throughout my grandmother's stay. One of our biggest concerns was medication management. There were multiple occasions when my grandmother was given another resident's medication, which is completely unacceptable. There were also several times when the facility ran out of her prescribed medications without notifying our family. Had we been informed, we could have easily brought her medications from home to ensure she didn't go without them. What hurt the most was the lack of compassion. My grandmother was hospitalized multiple times, was eventually placed on hospice, and ultimately passed away. At no point did anyone from Legacy Heights check on her or our family. We had to repeatedly ask for move-out instructions instead of receiving proactive communication during an already difficult time. I believe families deserve to know what our experience was like. Entrusting a loved one to an assisted living facility requires tremendous faith, and unfortunately, Legacy Heights did not provide the level of care, communication, accountability, or compassion that my grandmother deserved. To be fair, the facility itself is clean. If your loved one is largely independent and requires no assistance, it may be a suitable option. However, based on our experience, I would not recommend Legacy Heights to anyone, especially for someone who needs any care, medication management, or responsive communication with their family.

They offer free Wi-Fi , cable and internet and trash pick up at your door. They are well managed and they're is plenty of activities to keep you busy, too much to write about. Pet friendly for a small fee as well and they have a dog park and a dog solan free to bath your precious pet. We have decided that this will be our home and a place to enjoy this state of the art community! They have a lot of great floor plans to choose from, we went with the two bedrooms with two bathrooms and it is new and spacious. We did our home work before we visited this awesome community and Inspire royal park blows the others out of the park for what they offer. We got a tour and were sold on the spot.My eight year old granddaughter Evelyn got her free hot chocolate at the awesome community center and looked around and said this is a nice place. Come and take a tour and see for yourself, but hurry because this place is going to fill up fast trust me. God Bless all of my fellow Yelpers always.

The call bells stopped working and the facility failed to inform us that the call bells were not working when there was a covid outbreak in the facility in June 2024. My father experienced multiple falls and was not able to call for help. Due to the lack of care and the call bells not working, my father had to call 911 on his own. My father can no longer walk and is now in a nursing home on hospice as his health has declined massively from these repeated falls and lack of appropriate care. I tried to address this issue no avail with the executive director and corporate, but they refused to take responsibility and take seriously the lack of care and neglect my father experienced. They were non-responsive, only offering to refund his care fee for that time, which was not sufficient.

There are no options outside of paying a monthly fee to use your preferred pharmacy They failed to honor several rights we had in the contract including: 1) to be treated with respect, consideration and dignity - this applies to senior management at the facility in being rude, lying, and being non responsive to calls or emails while holding the family and resident to a higher standard, 2) to receive adequate and appropriate care and services - be it failing to do laundry or losing items (often I had to do it myself), or in billing by adding fictitious charges and ach"ing money without informing that they were too busy to deposit a check, 3) Even the owner of the facility at Senior Living Facilities failed to properly acknowledge and investigate my complaint. Not only do they drastically overcharge they have no awareness that the facility I took my mom to after 2 months is over 2,000 a month cheaper yet even with all these documented failures was not interested in refunding any money. The issue with their pharmacy was worked out after almost 3 months when they wrote the entire bill off. For 10 years my mom paid less that it charged me for 2 months, yet The Charlotte didn't care, or look into a different pharmacy. By comparison when I explained why would not use their preferred pharmacy and documented it, that pharmacy was replaced. I wouldn't bring my worst enemy here
