There is no doubt the food here is good. (in my opinon) however I have been there a few times in the last couple months and I must say... this time around I was unhappy with the quality of the food. My daughter had a hair in her pizza. I would not have been so grossed out, but when I picked up my order, i noticed the staff (the cooks) did not wear gloves. Some of them have hairy arms. Not sure if there is a mandate for this but if someone has to wear a hair net in a kitchen, there must be something that could help with the arms. Speciality pizza 18' - huge Pizza, like Costco size! Came with a lot of toppings. The pizza crust for this one was a bit hard. I'm not sure if it was overcooked (overbaked?) or something since the crust was hard. I ate it as soon as a I got home and it was still piping hot when I picked it up. I actually had to wait a few minutes when I got there because it still wasn't done yet. I like that the slices are thin. The crust is thin, except for the end part which is thicker than I'd prefer. Fortunately, the other pizza in my opinion was a lot better! Seasoning is good, not salty! Just right! 16' with sausage, olives, and mushrooms - The sausage is bomb! They're so generous with their toppings and filled every spot! The end crust is thinner in this pizza, so it was just slightly less doughy and a lot less hard. I was able to bite into the end crust without wincing at how hard it was when my teeth are trying to bite down. Overall, if you want to treat yourself to some pizza, try this place! read more

I got a vegetarian pizza with pepperoni via postmates. The medium sized pizza was substantial and felt heavy when it was handed to me. The dough was dense, but good. They are really generous with their toppings. I liked how the veggies were chunky so I felt satisfied when biting into the pizza. read more

Placed a phone order, was told my food would be ready in 30 minutes. We get there 30 minutes later and still had to wait about 15 minutes to get our food. We get our food and it's cold. Pizza was burnt and looked like it had been made earlier in the day and just thrown back in the oven for a second time. We had to throw the food away. Potatoes were hard as a rock. Mozzarella sticks were hard and burnt. I used to love this place. Idk what happened. So disappointed. read more

I have been coming to this spot since it was Lampost Pizza. Usually this place hits the spot, but today it was awful. It took almost an hour for our food to come out. There was hardly anyone there. I get it they have phone orders, but almost an hour for our order to come out. Everything came out little by little at a time. They brought out our fries quick but took for ever for our breadsticks. Then when we finally got our 2 pizza it had hardly any sauce or chese & it was warm not hot. We ate 4 slices of the 2 pizza & got boxes to go for all the food because we were full after waiting for everything. Slow service, yet not many in there (5 other parties, already eating) when our food does come an hour later, we get burnt pizza. Good cheese sticks tho. no one ever brought our side Zucchini, I go to counter twice, first time 30 min after getting our pizza, then another half hour later, and finally she goes to the back and brings it out. Wtf? They have been sitting there (youre able to see the back). This was crap service and food was just ok. Won't be back. Didn't even try the Zucchini. I was ready to leave irritated. Ambiance is nasty. Seats are sticky, it's way too dark, and lighting is off. Fans blowing at high speed right above tables making us cold and our food cold quickly. My 2nd time here in 5 years and will probably be my last. Didn't have a good experience 5 years ago and wasn't a good one this time around either. Too many places around that are as good if not better. Ordered a pizza said it would be ready in 25 minutes. I also added lasagna to my order 10 minutes before my pizza is suppose to be ready. I'm told I can come in now and food will be ready. I get there around that time and wait close to 15 minutes. I'm watching people come in pick up and go but I'm still waiting. When I get home my lasagna is hot but my pizza is slightly warm. I live less than 10 minutes away. I'm guessing my pizza was sitting out while they were preparing lasagna. So my slightly warm pizza isn't bad but would have been good actually if it was hot. I really want to like this place because it is so close but then I am reminded why I don't come here. So disorganized and some workers look like they hate it there probably family members that are asked to help. Also right now most businesses and their employees are required to wear face masks because of the corona virus. However I saw 2 workers preparing food without face masks on. Came here for a comedy event on 01/12/2024, hell no big mistake! Never again, one bathroom stall in men's and women's if you knew your lil pizza place can't accommodate an event then maybe not host 200+ people or whatever this was. Also, the food price gouging, shame on you guys. The tickets for the event were already $40, up charging for food is just bullshit. A 10in. I loved this place. I say loved because over the years the prices have gone up but the service has been going down even faster! Just now I called to put in an order and placed on hold so I waited, and waited, and waited. From san Dimas to the entrance of the door I waited over 20 minutes, no check in to let us know.... Anything! I go in and still waited to have my order taken because NOW they were taking phone orders. I will always support small business but damn this is getting ridiculous. An older guy I'm assuming the manager on the floor, friendly blonde cashier, one bus boy, two other young guys pretending to do something, a friendly delivery guy, a young girl with glasses folding one pizza box the entire time we waited there for our food & one prep doing like four orders of food from what I could see from the outside window & counter. The first time I had this place - my coworker had brought it to work for lunch and we all shared - it was yummy but i knew i had to go there and try it fresh & hot. Well during lunch one day, we called ahead to place an order so that it'd be ready when we got there - well we got there and our food still wasn't ready - which was a bummer since we only have an hour lunch. But within 10 minutes our wings came out (half lemon pepper, half hot) and our pizza after that. We had to remind them twice about our drinks (we got a pitcher of raspberry iced tea) The food was good but honestly, it didn't taste fresh. Meaning our pizza didn't have that ooey gooey cheese - which was odd since it took a while for us to get our food. The wings were okay - definitely on the small scale but the flavors were good. I think i'll come back one more time to give it another shot but im hoping that next time will go a little bit better. Good place to go with a group, lot of tvs - parking is a pretty decent sized lot. read more

We ordered pizza on Friday around 4 PM. We were told it would take 45 minutes to an hour for delivery. Very impressed that the driver called the house to let us know he was pulling up.We ordered the large special pizza, wings and a salad. Not overly impressed with the pizza, however. The pie looked like it had an entire sliced onion on top of it. We love onion on our pie, but not an entire one thrown on top of it. Also, for some reason the Italian sausage that we added tasted funny. So we ended up pulling that off. The pie was so greasy that it soaked through the bottom of the box. The antipasto salad was a good size, however, but wish it had a little bit more lettuce and shredded mozzarella. Also there were no pepperocinis on the salad which we thought was a little weird.Not sure will be ordering from The Post in the future. read more

I was told to just call when I parked. when I arrived they were confused and the manager said she would "I guess" take the order out, which was cool. But it made me feel as if I was imposing and then asked to drive over to the door... Please take the curbside note off if this isn't an option so that nobody else expects that service. The reason why I'm giving The Post 3 stars is because when it comes to there toppings there not very generous. Especially when it comes to there sausage and pepperoni. They are super generous with onions and mushrooms, but not there meats. I just ordered their pastrami pizza for the first time and even though it didn't look at all like I expected: the mustard wasn't really drizzled on and the pickles weren't added till after it was cooked and cut, it was DELICIOUS! read more

Came back for a night of comedy with some old high school friends, the beer selection was good, liked that they had wine, and IPA Beer, the service was good as well, the owner was kind enough to seat us and asked one of the girls to take our order from a special comedy night menu, it had to of been a sold out night comedians were super funny, had a blast! Okay I've never gotten pizza from here before but their wings are bomb! I was feeling some hot wings one day and decided to give this place a try. Initially I tried Old School (Buffalo), Fury (same as Old School but with pepper flakes added), and Sweet n' Spicy. Normally I have a thing for spicy, but Fury isn't that spicy so now I just get the Old School and Sweet n' Spicy for simplicity sake. I order by phone and pick-up in store which is pretty easy to do. My order is ready every time. They have other flavors of wings too but I'm too obsessed with Sweet n' Spicy and Old School to give the others a try. I don't have a picture to add at the moment, but the sparkly glaze on the Sweet n' Spicy wings is freakin' amazing. read more

Pizza Crust!!! I love pizza and I love their crust! Its nice and fluffy and crispy on the outside when you bite into it. This place is literally 2 stores down from where I work. They got parking behind the restaurant. I came in today to grab pizza to go. The prices are ok, 2 topping medium pizza(8 slices) for $11.50. If you got coupons, use them because saving $1 helps! Baked fresh and its very cheesy which is what I like for my pizza. Just one thing is that it gets oily. But quality of the pizza is good and I can eat all the crust! read more

I've ordered a few times for pick up and without fail I always find myself waiting and extra 30-40 minutes at the restaurant, beyond the time they said they would be ready. Most recently this was for a box of bread sticks. On a previous visit, the manager even had to yell at his employees since they weren't even paying attention to customers waiting. I understand things might get busy or you might have new employees, but after it happening multiple times, it really leaves a sour taste in your mouth. read more

The Post has a long history at this location. Originally a Red Devil Pizza, old-timers like me would come with our parents and wait outside for take-out (before they had an indoor dining room) at the same window where you pick up your order now. The restaurant has grown, but the food and the family atmosphere (with a kitchen staffed mostly by local students) hasn't, and this is why you need to visit. The pasta has always been the same totally solid pizza-joint fare that fills up a teenager for a fair price. Same with salads and garlic bread, and I hear they've got great wings and appetizers. When the dining room is back open, you'll find a good selection of beers on tap and a couple totally drinkable wines. The difference-maker here, though, is the pizza. I may be biased because it's the pizza I grew up eating (and thus what I use as a yardstick for all other pizza), but the Post dishes up probably the best pie in the SGV. The crust is the hand-tossed style and it's both well-constructed and flavorful. The pizza has a yummy balance of sauce and cheese, and these folks are NOT skimpy with toppings. My office is nearby, and the whole crew is happy when we get the Post delivered. Stop in soon--you'll get great pizza while you support an awesome independent business! read more
