I've been having this pizza since I can remember. I'm so happy it was bought back because I have yet to find a pizza that I enjoy more than bp pizza co. The inside is pretty simple. They have a couple arcade games & TVs in every view. The employees have always been nice. When your order is ready, they bring the pizza to your table with parmesan & red chili flakes on the side. As for the food, the crust on the pizza is amazing...so soft. I always have to get the Hawaiian pizza with a side of BAKED bbq wings too (they're not stingy on the sauce) and they're delicious. read more

I ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich with the onion rings and a side of garlic knots I gotta say it could've been better here's why. 1. the onion rings were really hard and it didn't have a lot of onion in it. it was mostly breading and a small slither of onion. 2/5 2. the chicken parmesan sandwich was ok, but it was way to hard to eat because they cook the bread to much and there was hardly any sauce in the sandwich. 3/5 3. the garlic knots were pretty good but it needs to add more garlic to it, and maybe add some fresh garlic to the bread. if they add fresh garlic to it, it would be a success. 4/5 All in all it was okay but I hope this review helps them get better and change their recipes a bit. read more

Came in the other day and we were dining in, we ordered a small pizza to share for 2 people. It was taking awhile but we were fine, then one of the workers came out with 2 giant slices and we were confused because we ordered a small pizza. They said our pizza got stuck and they had to remake it so the 2 slices were so we didn't have to wait longer. I thought that was super nice of them, honestly the slice alone would have been fine, when our actual pizza came out we were full lol so we took it to go but it was delicious and the staff was really nice for doing that without us asking. Baldwin Park Pizza is a great little spot with a classic pizza diner feel. But it's missing some love and the three stars are more dedicated to the staff than anything. The environment is very open space, big booths, and honestly could be a really great spot for groups, sports events etc... the classic take on a big pizza diner works and parking is pretty good, to be honest. The service... was fantastic, the hard part was their soda machine was out and has been for a while. They did have cans and 2 liter soads to accommodate, but you can tell the staff has had to explain this over and over again. They had the same issue with the beer and had a limited amount of bottled beer. We were swayed away from pitchers of beer because of this. The Last thing I noticed was they had to double check on some of the apps to see if they had them or not and they had no. Ketchup for our fries and wedges. You. Can tell it was uncomfortable for the staff. I was worried about the food after our initial order because of what was missing, but.... the pizza was pretty good, so we're the wings and salads. The breaded pickled were definitely frozen since a lot of them clumped together, and the wedges were good but no flavor. Some Ketchup would of helped. This is my girlfriends childhood nostalgia pizza place and they do have great pizza, wings and salad. I'm actually down to try some of their sandwiches. Hadn't gone back to Baldwin Park pizza in about four months , I don't know what happened, but they're not using the same sauce does not taste good at all very bland. I wish they would use old recipe., sauce was tasty and tangy now it's very bland if they don't improve, I will not go back sorry!! read more

A co-worker introduced me to Pastrami pizza that originated in Downey. That was the baddest pizza I've had. It was so good, it was evil! Today I was craving Pastrami pizza but didn't want to drive all the way to Downey. Got on my trusty Yelp and saw that BP Pizza also makes them so I hurriedly drove myself over. At half past 11 I was the only customer there. Oh well, my order is going to breeze through. I got the large pastrami ($18.75) plus $2 for the add-on red onions. It was good but nowhere near the original one. It might be the choice of cheese or pastrami that they used or the lack thereof. I can imagine it would be underwhelming without the additional red onions. I'll try to come back and order the Company pizza next time and hope that one is better. It has been quite some time since I visited this place and a lot has changed. Looks roomier with better looking booths and tables. They have 10 flat screen TVs that would be great for game night. This place is pretty good. Pros and cons I'd say. But enough pros that I'd order from here again. I was visiting my friend who lives in Baldwin Park and he suggested Baldwin Park Pizza. We ordered a large pizza with pineapple and mushrooms (my favorite combination mmm!) an order of garlic fries, as well as Mac and cheese bites. Let me just say.... Those max and cheese bites are small but taste AMAZING!!! I'd literally just order two orders of Mac and cheese balls lol They were fried perfectly and ooey gooey cheesy inside. Yum! Our pizza was a bit dry. The crust wasn't really edible. We just ate everything but the crusts. The garlic fries were okay. Not really my thing though. Something about the flavor with the garlic spread that didn't sit well with me. But my friend grubbed out on the whole order of garlic fries. Overall this place was decent. I'd probably give it another try and definitely make sure to order those Mac balls. Lol Service was slow. I think it took two hours for delivery on a Friday night. They estimated an hour to and hour and a half. We were starving by the time the food arrived. read more

So it's been a couple of years since I last had pizza from this location and I have to say it is like night and day the change in the quality of the food. My wife brought a large pepperoni and sausage pizza home this evening and as soon as I opened the box the familiar smell of a quality hand crafted pizza was not there, not only that it looked like a frozen pizza and the pepperoni tasted like processed cardboard. I noticed small specs of meat around the pepperoni that were supposed to be Italian sausage. Don't know what happened to the pizza here but this was a poor showing. I met wife in 2001and she introduced me to best pizza I had tasted since leaving Chicago,but something has happened and the food here is not what it was, and unless something drastically changes I just want to say thank you for what was. read more

My family and I have been ordering pizza from this place for the past 22 yrs. It's always been the best pizza. The only incident we've had was about 4 yrs ago. But it was quickly resolved by the owner. I ordered an XL pepperoni, ham, and mushrooms today. They didn't add pepperoni, the crust is hard and the cheese tastes different. I tried calling back, they don't answer. After calling 5 times and no answer i just gave up. But wont be ordering from here anymore, sadly. BP Pizza used to be so good. But apparently they've changed ownership and you definitely see a difference. Went there on Sunday. There were a few people behind the counter but only one girl working the register and taking orders. It took a long time to be tended and to get our items. They had no beer on tap despite having a variety of beers displayed. Their water filter wasn't working and had no bottles of water to sell. I opted for just tap water which was okay. But for them not to have even bottled water was disappointing. I wanted a coke, was told they only had Pepsi so I ordered that with my pitcher of ice and water. We Ordered a pizza with the works except mushrooms because... you guessed it, they were out of mushrooms. The air conditioner was not working and it was extremely hot inside! None of the TVs were on--which I don't usually mind, but they happened to be out or their cable wasn't working. The pizza was undercooked and terribly thin and soggy. The Pepsi never came because as it turned out, they were out of Pepsi too. When they brought out salad, they only brought two plates and forks even though there were three of us. We had to get up and ask for the extra setting, the cheese & red pepper, the soda, and the pitcher of water that also never came. Sad to see a BP icon go so bad. I will not be back. I can't imagine them lasting much longer like this. read more

My rating is 3.5 stars for today's lunch. I had the lunch special which is a slice of either cheese or pepperoni, small salad, and regular size drink. I paid extra to get the mushrooms added. All together if was $7 15 so a good deal. The lettuce was crisp not wilted, and shredded cheese was just the perfect amount. The slice was chewy although I would have preferred a slightly crispy crust. The inside is well lit, and all surfaces were clean. The cashier was helpful since it was my first time here. We've had fond memories over the last 20 years...from discovering how well pepperoni and jalapeños go together to your buffalo wings to your expanded craft beer selection. You've always had a place in my heart. In early 2022, BPCo was sold to new owners who promised not to change anything about the place. Including joeys famous sauce. While it's possible this was true early on, my experience in the last few months is that things have changed...Including the prices. As I bit down on my first BPCo slice of 2022, I couldn't help notice that something was off...was it the cheese? the sauce? Is the pepperoni coming from somewhere else? I couldn't quite put my finger on it but the magic that existed before isn't there now. While the pizza is tasty I don't know that I can call it the best on this side of town anymore..and at this price point Rio's may be giving them a run for their money. read more
