I first wandered in years ago, motivated by a sign on the door warning of adult language. I wasn't disappointed. I got to meet Noelle and her husband and see her spectacular ceramic work and t-shirt designs as well as a fabulous curation of pro-human merchandise from small businesses and indie brands. I spent a lot of money and a lot of time chatting and didn't regret any of it. I stop in every time I'm in Huntington now and buy online when I'm not because they're just that good. My husband lives in his "Resist Much, Obey Little" t-shirt, and my handmade trinket dish of a squirrel saying "Eat My ***" sparks joy every time I walk by it. If I need a gift for a similarly-minded friend or relative, I start here. And I usually end here. And they go the extra mile when I order gifts to be sent directly to friends. They even made one cry, but in a good way. It's a very good shop. They're very good people. Give them money and get cool stuff in return. And maybe you'll get to meet a cool dog.

There are 2 free regular parking spots for the gift shop with a one hour limit in the ADA lot but employees must park there because on multiple days they were taken. I found lots of things I liked but decided to purchase two Marco Christmas ornaments, one for me and one for my best friend. They were a steal, I'm assuming, because it's summer lol. I'm not using it at an ornament. I put it on my book shelf with a few other Marshall memorabilia. And I'll send the other to my friend as part of her Christmas gift. The store not only had a huge selection of cards, Hallmark keepsakes, but also sold flags, purses (Vera Bradley) and many other cute items that would make perfect gifts!

Very good donuts!…read more When we walked in it was crowded and had a few people in line. They had a good selection of donuts, both in types and amounts of each. After we walked in, a fire truck pulled up, and the lady stopped helping the line to help the firefighters - although I had kids in the car and was in a hurry - it felt very small town, and that somehow added to the appeal. We got a dozen donuts including blueberry cake, devils food, honey dew, buttermilk, Boston cream, banana cream, cinnamon powdered sugar, strawberry cream, and some other one I can't remember the name of. They were all very tasty! The creams were generous, flavorful and a great texture and the powdered toppings were strong and packed on! My typical go-to are blueberry cake and devils food/chocolate cake, and they were just okay, but the rest were absolutely worth trying! Interestingly, they do a baker's dozen (13 not 12) but the 13th donut is chosen from a separate case with options that are different than the regular donut options and at other places would cost more like cinnamon rolls, apple fritters, specialty long johns, etc. we found that fascinating, as I tried to get one as part of my dozen and they said those are the free ones instead. I don't usually eat sugar, so trying donuts on this vacation was a big stretch for me, but these were absolutely worth it! If you're ever in the area and want a treat that's both authentic and tasty, Jolly Pirates is the place to try!
