Lovely little cafe within easy walking distance of hundreds if not thousands of homes in Huntington It is right next door and one block from the Huntington mosque and a church which I'm sure they absolutely love having in such close proximity and probably get plenty of business from, so keep those days/times in mind regarding if you are trying to go for a busy vs. quiet cafe experience/vibe (as someone with social anxiety, these details mean a lot to me and can make or break my experience, you're welcome). There is a decent-sized parking lot right outside of the establishment (which several years ago, used to be a gas station) so parking is plentiful and accessible and you could park just feet from the door if accessibility is a concern/issue for you. I stopped in just minutes before closing desperate for a warm caffeinated pick-me-up being another cold day in January. They close rather early, 3PM Mondays-Fridays (I of course happened to to stop in on a weekday) and at 5PM on Saturdays and Sundays, so make plans to go earlier rather than later) and they did not treat me with urgency as if they weren't ready to flip around the "open" sign in exactly one minute... true hospitality. Based on my interaction with the kind barista it sounds like he would normally serve my coffee - which is apparently LOCALLY ROASTED, AS WELL - in actual drink ware and not paper cups, which normally I would absolutely prefer, but I of course got mine to go this visit as I was just grateful to get inside before they closed. I took just a quick peek around while waiting for my latte - was in and out in no time due to no one else being there. Seating/dining area is spacious, modern, cozy. I wanted to be quick so I didn't take time much time to browse the menu (full menu is available online FYI) but they feature/specialize in crepes. Where else can you get a crepe nearby in this part of town? Nowhere immediately close. If crepes aren't your thing they also offer other breakfast items (eggs, croissants, omelets) and a couple lunch items (sandwiches, couple green salads), and all made to order UNlike the nearby coffee chains that heat up all their hot breakfast/lunch offerings in a flash oven (essentially part oven, part microwave...) Oh, and they have smoothies too! Non-dairy alternatives were also available (I asked for oat milk). If I had to sum up my first impression of this business from my (brief) first visit in two words I would describe it as simple and elegant (which for me, is perfect). Even the coffee comes in one size which I honestly find so refreshing, one less albeit tiny decision to complicate the day (1 one-size latte = 2 shots, which he asked me if I wanted more but that was all I needed, it already being 3PM). I can't wait to come and bring my friends to coffee and chill, sit, eat, and relax here. Come support this business to help this fairly new cafe grow and ensure they stick around! I love me a cozy, clean, quality cafe and we truly don't have many spots like this in this area.

I love the ambience of the space! They have classic tables as well as couch, seating for a more intimate vibe, and I really loved that touch. Everyone was really kind and friendly, and the food was extremely quick to come out. These are the most delicious crepes! Highly recommend!

They had a wonderful selection of goodies. We ended up choosing the tiramisu cookies, chocolate chip cookies, olive oil cakes w blackberry thyme jam, cinnamon rolls, and mozzarella, tomato, basil focaccia. To start the tiramisu cookies had wonderful coffee flavor, and the fresh, creamy frosting paired nicely. The chocolate chip cookies were soft, chewy, and had chocolate woven throughout. One of the best I've had! The olive cakes were good, well backed and had a delicate flavor. However, we weren't the biggest fans of the thyme flavor, but that's just our preference. The focaccia was deliciously savory, the toppings paired well with the bread without overtaking its flavor. Lastly, the showstopper, was the cinnamon roll. It was next level good, and I dare say the best I've ever had. The roll itself was soft, buttery, and full of cinnamon spice. The frosting was perfect, creamy with a delicate cream cheese flavor. I know I'm going to be craving it in the future. On top of the delicious baked goods, the interior was clean and had welcoming vibe. The employees were kind and helpful. The price for everything was $58, which makes sense with how expensive groceries are nowadays. And you're supporting a small, locally owned business. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return!

Still, this place made the trip worthwhile and I enjoyed a nice hot chocolate (and complimentary Halloween-themed shortbread cookie!). The barista was pleasant and answered our questions about the environs. We only checked out the bookstore section briefly though it did have an excellent selection, and even had a typewriter set up for aspiring typists to play around with. As a typewriter owner, it's always cool to see opportunities for the next generation to get a chance to work with these machines (if only so they can appreciate how much easier word processors are when it comes to editing!) I would gladly come back here again, and hopefully take more time to check out the books as well. Overall: 4.5/5 stars ---- Pros: - Great drinks. - Pleasant staff. - Quiet place to do work or look for a new book to dive into. - Easy street parking nearby. Cons: - Most tables are two tops, so if your group is three or more, you may have to improvise your seating arrangement.
