I stumbled upon Ann's Porch when I was en route to a florist that (luckily for me!) had closed up shop. A neighboring business recommended him. They called him at noon on a Saturday and asked him to keep the shop open a bit longer so they could send me over. This was the first of many kind, "above-and-beyond" things David did for me and my wedding! Searching for a florist (or anything) for a wedding is terrible - everything with "wedding" associated with it is immediately 30-60% more expensive. David at Ann's Porch is the most honest, personable businessman. He didn't try to upsell me, he met with me and my mom and grandma on short notice, he recommended colors and combinations of flowers to achieve my vision, and did everything (which wasn't a small order) inside my budget. Even when we found that we could afford a little extra (just for his trouble) he wouldn't accept it. He is a VERY rare find when it comes to a merchant and treats every single one of his customers as if they are the most important person to him. He treats you like family - better than some people's family really! My grandmother was just smitten with him as well because aside from doing beautiful flowers, he is a lovely, entertaining person! We ordered a bouquet for a dear family member. The gentleman that answered the phone was courteous and incredibly kind. I asked that the flowers be delivered that day, if possible, and he said they would get there by noon. He did better than that, a gorgeous bouquet was delivered within the hour!! Talk about above and beyond in quality of customer service and creativity! That and more! I called last week to order flowers for my daughter and her fiancé who had a scheduled wedding delayed for a year. I needed them delivered first thing Saturday, May 23 morning(their original wedding date) and had hoped the bouquet could include flower types of their original wedding. One of those flowers was peonies. David was so apologetic that he didn't have peonies, which I completely understood! He even offered to get coral peonies from Atlanta but I said that wasn't necessary and told him to just create an arrangement in whites, creams and light pink in whatever flowers he had. I mentioned white hydrangeas were in the original flowers for the wedding but told David to just do what he felt would work. Well, when my daughter and her fiancé received the arrangement, she said it was "Stunning!!" and sent a picture. Much to my surprise, there were white peonies! Somehow David had made it happen! Also, the white hydrangeas and pale pink roses were absolutely perfect! I wish the engaged couple were getting married in Columbus next year because there would be no question who would be the florist! read more

So, I really need to update this review. I ordered some funeral flowers and boy did they mess up my order. I won't get into the details. Why? Because every business makes mistakes. Their real values show in how they make up for it...and boy did they make up for it. David personally brought a HUGE basket of flowering plants to the home of my loved ones. He personally apologized to the family. On top of that, he completely refunded my payment.
