Between the upfront fees and high hourly rates, we expected a true partner in helping care for our family. That was not our experience. The final straw came when our nanny abruptly canceled 10 minutes before her scheduled shift because my daughter had lingering congestion from the tail end of a cold. It was especially frustrating given that this same nanny had cared for my daughter the week before while she herself had cold symptoms. What was even more disappointing was that their advertised on-call service wasn't available and no one reached out to help even though they were aware the nanny canceled. For over an hour, I couldn't reach anyone who could help or offer a solution. When I finally did hear back, the response was essentially, "That's our policy," with no effort to understand the situation, find a solution, or acknowledge the impact this had on our family. For a company that advertises itself as a premium nanny service, I expected flexibility, communication, and customer care when things didn't go according to plan. Instead, I was left feeling like policies mattered more than people. For the amount this agency charges, I expected a much higher caliber of nanny and a company that stood behind its clients when problems arose. Based on our experience, I would not recommend paying premium prices for this service.

She also strikes me as a compulsive liar who suffers from delusion of grandeur. No mother should have to go through the anxiety and horror of hearing a "nanny" state that they could have kidnapped your kid...If you are like me, your child is your most precious possession in this world and the basic requirement of nannies is to be gentle and trustworthy. p.s. I will add that she did take my daughter around town to the museum and gave her a good time. But my last exchange with her negates all of that: those were words that should never have come out of her mouth or anyone's mouth.

We're thankful for everyone there who has helped her along in her development, as we've seen her grow into the strong and smart and kind toddler she is. As childcare costs keep rising it is rare to find a daycare center that is upfront with you about the cost. This is the only place I have found in Pittsburgh that will actually tell you their tuition rates on their website. They have a waitlist for infants but we got on it during my pregnancy and had no problems getting our daughter in! I have to note that they will be moving out of their current property sometime in the future, but they intend to find a new home in the area, so we're hopeful that we can continue to rely on them for childcare. We're excited that they will be able to design their new location to suit their needs!
