Eventually we got a spot on a couch inside. A company was hosting a party with a buffet and when their event was up they offered the other guests to enjoy what was left of the buffet. Austin Club My…read morecousins hosted a wedding reception at the beautiful Austin Club. It is formerly The Millett Opera House. The food served, the drinks from the bartenders, and the overall classy and timeless feeling the Austin Club gave made for a beautiful reception full of joy. For dinner we were served a Chicken Piccata with Brussels Sprouts and Mashed Potatoes that was top notch. Dec 16, 2025 Came…read morefor my Aunts 90th BD celebration with 12 of her closest friends I had a shrimp cocktail to start, a filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus for the main and candied pecans with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Everything tasted fabulous. Others had stuffed chicken or sea bass. I got to try the sea bass; it was delicious as well. Props to our waiter George! Top notch. Each dish had a fresh orchid on it, which I collected most of to take home. I snuck away from the dinner party to look around. Now, what I discovered. The blue ceiling mural has a face of one of the local opera singers back in the day; Priscilla.
