Staff is extremely rude, service is very slow. When we came they told us there was a 20 minute wait for rentals, that we should wait in the car and they'll call us in 20 minutes when it's our turn. I asked if I can start filling out the paperwork in the car, they responded rudely that I could not. 45 minutes later we hadn't heard from them so we went in to see how much longer it would be. They yelled at us, didn't say how much longer, and sent us back to our car. We left. They called us an hour and 10 minutes after we got there. By that time we had already received our rentals from Snowbird Ski Shop just down the road, where they were extremely nice, efficient, had great equipment, good pricing, and went out of their way to be helpful. In its response to our review on Google the owner stated that they prioritize those with reservations over those without. It would have been nice if they told us that when we got there, instead of just saying the wait would be 20 minutes when, in fact, it was over an hour. The owner also claimed that its surveillance footage from the weekend did not "show" anyone yelling. I wonder if their cameras record audio and, if so, whether anyone actually took the time to go through the entire weekend's footage because, if they did, they wouldn't be denying that the way we were spoken to was extremely rude and would be considered entirely unacceptable by any respectable business owner (or customer). read more

I recently got new ski boots at The Pro and they fit like a glove. These are not my first, second, nor third boots, but for the first time ever a sales person begun the process by actually looking at my feet. Keith made great recommendations for me based on a shape of my feet and they didn't even need adjustments. I also found out that reason I've been tortured by heel lift my whole life is not my high instep, but wrong boot for my foot. At the same time a friend of mine bought well reviewed boots online - to "save money", went elsewhere to have them fitted, spend $$$ for custom orthotics - ended up spending a lot more money and she hates the boots! So do yourself and your feet a favor - make an appointment at The Pro for new boots. Last year I tried some demos and found an awesome ski at great price, so this snowboarder is skiing a lot more now :) They also do a great job at tuning equipment. Keith Holmquest's knowledge and experience make him easily the only person I would trust to fit my ski boots, and I know many locals who feel the same. Two winters ago now, I was in the market for a high performance ski boot that would be good for aggressive all mountain skiing, but also freestyle. Keith's son Giovanni helped me decide on a pair of Dalbello IL Moros, a decision that has satisfied me immensely since. Then Keith created insoles that were custom to my feet and heat molded the boot's intuition liners to give me a unique fit, which has been 10/10 the best fit I have had from a ski boot. This service alone is reason enough to buy your boots at the Pro, as it is Keith's specialty. Could not have asked for a better boot fitting and ski purchasing experience. Kate Ebbers is an expert and professional in her craft, and her attention to detail in making sure my boots were perfect was more than I expected. Using both the electronic scan of my feet and her knowledge of brands/models, she narrowed down boots to what would work for me, eventually we settled on Tecnica Mach1 boots with 110 flex. Forget the other man's name who helped me with skis, but him and Kate listened to what type of skiing I'm into and am also getting into, and helped me make an informed decision without pressuring me at all. If I could give 0 stars I would. A set of skis in our party got stolen at the mountain. They charged us $340 for the USED RENTAL skis, atop of the $60 I had already paid to rent the skis. They said that is thwir cost to replace the used skis with new skis. Total lack of care or regard, but used my misfortune as an opportunity to be awful. Never again will I go there and unless you're ok with being gouged in case of stolen equipment, I recommend you not either. This family run business knows their stuff. Upgraded to new skis and an advance/expert boot last season. Came back this year and had some trouble with the boot fit because I lost some weight. Keith and Pancho adjusted the insert and tuned up my skis. Whoa, what a difference. My wife needed new racing boots and she has all kinds of fit issues. I have been skiing for many years and bought boots and ski few times. Never had such a knowledgeable people to help and guide me. I choose a more expensive boots but Gio said no. With the shape of my feet and level of my ski, he sold me a cheaper one. I love these people and recommend them to everyone. They have a great selections.
