When I got home and took the shoes out of the box I noticed several scuff marks on the shoes. I called and spoke to Kate. She said I could bring the shoes back. I brought them back two days later. The owner informed me that shoes would've never left her store in that condition. In other words - I must've scuffed them. I explained that I hadn't worn them, so couldn't possibly have made scuff marks. She said maybe they got scuffed in the shoe box. What? That doesn't even make sense! Her Customer Service is lacking and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Needless to say they've lost my business.

What's different is that the prices are GREAT and, this store is a force for good. The owner donates a portion of proceeds to a range of important causes and also has a beautiful "mitzvah" board where you can donate a few dollars to a future customer dealing with something difficult, and/ or also doing something good and the donation will make their day.
