Myself, husband and 4 kids (4-11) found a perfect day trip from Sacramento to the Amador Flower Farm. A main attraction for our family was the picnic area beside the pond full of koi fish, turtles and frogs. A food dispenser ($0.25) was endlessly fun to feed and attract the pond inhabitants and observe their patterns beneath mature oaks brimming with sparrows, red winged blackbirds and other songbirds. We brought our own picnic food, bought a bottle of sparkling wine at the gift shop/tasting room, and sat for more than an hour spending time together. Later, we wandered through the gardens and enjoyed the beautiful blooms, many of which can be purchased to bring home. The paths were easy to navigate for our mother with a bad knee. It's straightforward to get here, and well worth the hour from the Sacramento area. What an incredible afternoon!

We decided to have sweets before lunch and ordered their strawberry ice cream sandwich and strawberry pie! The strawberry ice cream and donut combo was delicious!! We would order it again in a heartbeat! The strawberry pie tasted like it was just strawberry jam as the filling and we didn't really like it much. Their burgers were so delicious and the sauce they offered were so good!! They had a chipotle and BBQ sauce that was so good that we regretted not asking if they sold it there to bring home with us! Can't wait to be back in the fall for more!!

It isn't. Other than that, produce is ok, they have some good jams and sauces. But boy, some of these kids they have working there are not very adept at costumer device.

They have a small corn maze (takes 10-15 minites), tractor ride, a full fledged pumpkin patch, large hale pyramid to climb, and pumpkin shooter. There's also a small flower patch. Prices were very reasonable for whatever items you want to do, especially considering no cost for parking or entrance. There was a good amount of shade on the property which is super nice. Only 1 porta potty which is a big con for me, but since it's not too far out of town not the end of the world. Parking lot is big enough for the size of the place, gravel. Everything was stroller friendly for our little one. The girls working were sweet and even willing to take some photos for us with the cute pumpkin arch. There was 1 food truck on site but limited options. Probably plan to eat before/after. Overall, definitely intend to come back next year and make this a fun tradition. It doesn't have the rides or slides or big entertainment that places like Bishops have, but its really cute and has plenty to do for a family that is wanting something smaller scale.

They have several different style pumpkins and lots of sizes to choose from. They have tons of photo ops around the patch from pyramid hay stack, old trucks, tractor, photo cut outs and more. My little LOVES riding the ponies every year! It's her favorite thing there! Pony rides are $13. And sooooo fun! They also have farm animals, truck ride you can go on and blow up play area for kids. They have a variety of pumpkins for sale, and reasonably priced. They have tractor hay rides, animals for petting (bunnies, goats, & chickens) and pony rides. They had a corn maze/tunnel that the children loved running through. And the rocking horse corral was a big hit. And it was reasonably priced. It's such a cute, family-friendly place.
