They have a huge selection of berries to for U-pick at their farm such as blackberries, loganberries, boysenberries, and even currants, which is a rare find. They have white, red, and black currants. Their picking is during a short period of time in the few weeks of July so a lot of things can get picked over the later you go. We went close to closing time at 2pm and it took a while to find the raspberry/loganberry area. We picked boysenberries, loganberries, and currants. We ended up picking too much and not realizing the cost was not just per bucket but per pound $5 each per bucket and per pound, so 3 buckets ended up being $80!! So it is pretty pricey. All of the berries were yummy and good, though I wish they had boxes or berry containers instead of plastic bags because in combination with the several pounds of weight in each bag with the 100+ degree day, a lot of the berries ended up getting smushed on the way home. That was a bit of a bummer, but I guess I'll use for smoothies. We'll definitely be back to pick more berries next year, but will be bringing a box and I would highly suggest doing the same if purchasing a large quantity.

We tried the lavender lemonade slushy and it was super refreshing. We were the only ones there, and pulling up was a little confusing since it looks very home-y, and we weren't totally sure where things were happening. They had a nice little selection of goodies for sale, and overall the vibe was really chill. However... there was a cat hanging around that became a bit of a deal-breaker. It climbed right up on the table where the utensils, napkins, and bagged chips were -- literally sat on the chip bags like it owned the place. Clearly not its first time doing that. who wants cat booty on their food? I'm all for farm animals and pets, but I don't think they should be around areas where food is being handled or served -- especially where straws and napkins are kept. Then our drink came out with a straw already in it, and while it was brought from the kitchen, it made me wonder if the cat's allowed back there too. They also mentioned a flower garden we could check out, which we did but it took only a few minutes, and then we headed out. Overall, it's a relaxing little spot, but not much to do, and the food hygiene situation needs some serious work. I definitely don't want cat butt near my snacks.

Now that my…read morethree youngest kids eat strawberries like they're candy and it was Mother's Day it seemed like the best time to go! Although, it was a bit of a drive for us coming from Sacramento/Elk Grove we were able to maximize our time there. The strawberry farm is family owned and located not too far from other businesses in the area if you wanted to find something to eat or find somewhere else to hang out afterwards. There was a food truck, Laopino, that had delicious lumpias, music, a bubble machine, plus a few games and activities to keep the little ones occupied, and shaded tables to enjoy your fresh harvests. :) Tickets are only available online. Weekend tickets are released on Thursdays at 7 pm. When choosing our date and time it shows we only had an hour to pick but really we got to take our time and enjoy our morning. I feel they show you have a one hour slot to help stagger guests in. I love how they had a little gift shop set up, another tent with fresh flowers, drinks, and beautiful cookies at the register to purchase. The strawberry fields had plenty to choose from. We saw lots of bright red ones varying from all sizes. The staff also informed us there were 6 types of strawberries being grown! My kids enjoyed only for a short while and mainly wanted to stay in the kid area. There are also plenty of photo ops on the farm too! We would absolutely return in the future. Highly recommend!

Traditional "you-pick" farms charge less than what they sell the fruit for because they are getting free labor for people coming to pick. This farm instead charges more, for the experience itself. There weren't other special kid activities going on or anything else fun. And when the website advertised the 64oz containers, the photo made the container look larger. I filled my little basket to the very top, practically overflowing, and it still only held 2.4lbs of berries (I weighed on my scale in photo*) They actually sell pre-picked berries up front at a cheaper price. So if price is what matters to you, those might be a better choice.

I wouldn't return here…read more For me, fruit picking is is about an abundance of fruit for a smaller price that we would pay at farmers market or the grocery store. This was neither. There were literally only 5 trees that had apples on them, and every apple had holes where birds had helped themselves. And they aren't even good apples. The apples I buy at Costco are yummier. And as if that wasn't disappointing enough, the charge for the apples...$30 for 7 pounds (and don't forget that it's really only 3-4 pounds because it have to cut off all the bad spots and compost them). I feel like I got swindled! The 2 stars are because the employees were very sweet. But they split up our group for like a half hour which was really upsetting for some of my friends who were split up from their kiddos. They might have apologized to someone about it, but considering they only had a few visitors, they could've done a much better job handling it.

Me not knowing the best time to pick is early September so all the apples were all picked off the trees so we were kind of bummed. So we decided to at least do something so we took a tractor ride that was only 10.00 for the family!! The ride was almost a half hour long!! We had the best chaperone aka Tractor Driver, Sydney. What a joy she was, so sweet!!! She even stopped the tractor and we walked down to visit and feed some chickens apples that have fallen off the trees, we even were able to eat a bunch of berries growing on a nearby bush. The boys had a blast, I HIGHLY recommend Sydney if you go on the tractor ride, made our visit so special!!

They close on certain days when there are not enough blueberries that are ripe in order to give the unripe blueberries a chance to ripen. Once you arrive, follow the signs that lead you to the parking field. Park in the field, and then head to the areas that say welcome. They will let you use their buckets. It took me three hours to fill one bucket completely and a second bucket 2/3 of the way. They charge $20 a bucket so I paid $35 for mine (I think they round to the nearest quarter of a bucket. The family who owns this organic farm are so nice! They'll tell you all about blueberries (I learned that blueberry bushes can live for 60 years). There are 4 or 5 different varieties of blueberries but I ended up mixing them in my bucket so I have no idea which is which haha. This is a super fun activity to do with friends. Highly recommend.

There's probably more than a dozen rows of blueberry bushes with at least 8-10 per row. When you arrive at there's a little barn and the owner sits at a table and tells you how the process works. There's a waiver you sign (thanks Covid) and then you are free to grab a bucket and start picking. I believe a full bucket is $10 and a half bucket is $5 and you pay after you pick. We barely picked any cause my toddler wasn't super patient but still paid $10. We came about a month ago when the berries were pretty well picked through. I'd like to come back earlier in the season and take some time to fill a bucket since there's nothing like fresh blueberries! There was a little petting zoo set up when we came. Its nice of the owner allow the public come to her farm to pick the fresh berries. The property is quite lovely too
