Great experience! Our pup, paperwork, price, everything was as expected when we went to pick up our newest family member. He was socialized, healthy, sweet, and already crate trained. Benefits of adopting from the Puppy Store is he was being socialized everyday with people of all ages, socialized with other dogs, he was used to taking a bath (no anxiety), crate trained, and used to being around noises/a lot of activity. We only started coming here for my kids to be able to pet some puppies (they just lost their dog brother) so we have come here over five times now and I feel like I can leave an honest review. This place is so sad for the puppies. Most of them have had poop or pee in their kennels every time we have come. The staff is not courteous - act like it's a pain if they are interrupted from their own conversations to help you or go get a dog. And this is the real kicker-they are now charging 10$ to hold a dog. That's outrageous. I'm sorry. No thank you. Please do your research if you are serious about buying a dog. We've been here a few times and noticed that the dog poops are left in their display boxes, and that they're stepping over their own poop. There has also been times where we've come in and the whole store just smells like dog pee and poop. Once, we even had the dog pee AND poo in the petting caged areas, and the workers had to mop it with a solution that smelt pretty awful. So, it doesn't always smell and look clean in there. Workers don't know anything about dogs. I've been handling/working with dogs for 6+ years. Decided to play with one of their corgis. The corgi squealed because I touched her scruff to get her to stop chewing on the wall. I didn't even pick her up by the scruff, just a slight tug to move her from the wall. They freaked out asking what happened. She barely even made a noise but they made a huge deal about it. She was fine and just needed to be told she can't chew the wall. The corgi was developing bad habits already at such a young age. She was biting when being touch/held, not letting me touch her toes and ears. Workers took the dog from me when I wasn't done playing with her. (Plus you're only allowed one puppy per visit.) They made up some excuse saying I can't hold her like I was? I was just putting my two hand around the sides of her hips holding her there, not applying pressure just not letting her do whatever she wanted. The corgi was very vocal (like corgis are...) they thought I was hurting her, there's a very distinct difference between her being sassy and her being hurt. Apparently they don't know the difference What if I wanted to buy this dog? Won't ever buy one here because they aren't handled properly. Corgis are stubborn and need to be worked with as soon as possible. read more

I love this place! Not only am I very exited to get my own puppy from here, I know they are taking care of to the fullest!! A lot of people have said this is a bad place, DON'T say that until you actually know. This puppy store, I know for a fact, loves on the animals, helps them heal from past traumas, and help them get ready for their next home. The puppy store saves these puppies from awful places, helps them heal and shares the love from the puppies to all others that love them. The puppies are cute and it's fun that you get to play with them but not only are the prices outrageous, the staff is disrespectful. I don't know her name but I have gone to this store a number of times and a girl with nose piercings and red hair has been outrageously disrespectful to me every time. There have been at least 3 occasions in which I have asked for a dog and she said "just a second" then forgot until I asked again. And she is rude to all customers every time I've been in. This is not a business I can support for a number of reasons, but allowing that kind of people to be on staff makes it even worse. read more

Bought a puppy who had giardia and kennel cough from the get go. It was a rough couple of first weeks and vet visits. They had to know they were sick. In fact, I asked why the other puppies had diarrhea and if mine did and they said it's just nerves. read more

They by their dogs from breeders, sell for the most outrageous prices and today when asking a question the lady working "kicked" us out because she claimed we were "attacking her". I enjoyed going in to see all the cute puppies. It was sad to see how small the spaces were that they had to live in. When I had the chance to play with a cute, little beagle they didn't sanitize any of the toys or play areas from the previous people, even though a few workers were sitting around. My son went in with a pre approval to pick up his puppy and was instantly put aside so a Employee could take care of another customer first because as she stated their puppy was of higher value, she was rude and unprofessional. My son asked to see the another puppy of the same breed to see its temperament ,she acted like it was a huge inconvenience and unnecessary , then she got really rude when my son hesitated suddenly she was closing and they wanted our family out stating that paper work wasn't done and they didn't have time , not true like I sd he went in with paperwork done and pre approved and also drove from an hour away to look at both puppies and to bring o e home . He had even called the store to let them know he was on his way and to double check everything was in order . The two front desk girls had horrible attitudes I'm actually in shock with how much attitude they had. I think the owner need to reconsider who they have working there. We walked in and two workers were helping one girl, which is fine but when we were standing there for 5-10 minutes we finally asked one of them if we could get help from someone and she replied "I am currently making a sale, you'll have to wait until someone else comes out" she said in an annoyed tone. I understood that she was busy but that's why I asked if she could get someone else to help since we were standing there for long. As we waited for a different employee we asked her as she came out to her computer if we could see a puppy we were seriously interested in. She said "ya next time if you could come up to the desk and ask me that would be great" also in an annoyed tone. She acted like we yelled at her- when we were standing not 5 feet away from her, I have never had an issue with the front desk girls here until today around 2:00 pm I was going to ask there names after we were done with the puppy but both of the front desk girls went into the back for 5-10 minutes until we left, when we wanted to talk about pricing for noodle the Boston terrier. these girls need to be retrained on how to properly greet customers and have a better attitude. 10:16/23 around 2:15. read more

I love holding the puppies who doesn't!! Can't help but smile while I'm there but purebreds are so ridiculously over priced, there were some adorable French bulldogs but they were over 10 grand!! Then I look on KSL and they are all closer to 5 grand... Ridiculous I've read a few articles about how common parvo is for puppies coming from places like this, although there are hand sanitation areas there's kids running around and reaching their hands in and it's almost unavoidable for these poor guys to catch this deadly disease. It was so cute! While I agree it would be better for the pups to be in larger areas, a majority of them are smaller dogs. The worker also commented to us that most puppies get adopted within 2 weeks. My wife Susan and our own French Bull Dog, that did it all....we have planning fro male French Bull Dog, so about time, we said lets do it, our Cruise Vacation Hit us, we went to the The Puppy Store to gets us a all white French Bull Dog, and if one comes in to save it for us...we are back, Isam is all excited, Susan talks to her, these dogs by nature are very good listeners...so Susan all Gung Ho, I am a Daddy waiting for the baby...we want in time to breed her for only 4 pups, for our grand kids.., one reason we love this Store over others, is the customer svc...very clean, lots of real light-thru out dog cages are clean, dogs look happy, as you get one to hold, every one clean to the heart, my wife loves put them close to her face, as well put them close to mind, and they smell like a new born baby.. Was excited to check out the store but left broken hearted. These puppies are spending their lives in small glass cages, no beds, covered in their own waste. I teared up hearing that the bigger breeds don't even get regular walks. Some have been in there over 4 months. Not sure how a store like this is legal. read more

I was in there for maybe 10 minutes and I saw all I needed to see. Two or three puppies in some of the cages (that are about 1 by 3 feet big), cage floors covered in dog poop. One of the puppies was running around smashing herself into the walls on purpose. Several of the dogs were eating the shredded newspaper 'bedding.' AND there's a sign that says do not take pictures of dogs in cages because they know that these are deplorable conditions. I feel so bad for these puppies that are so obviously in a puppy mill. the customer service at this place was horrible. Not only did they not greet us when we walked in but failed to inform us on any restrictions as far as playing with the puppies due to Covid. There were only two customers in the entire store, my self included and still no workers made the effort to help or communicate with us. This is honestly one of my favorite places to go. You can tell the owner really cares about the dogs. They don't get rid of the dogs if they don't sell early, they just mark down the prices--making it more probable for them to bed adopted. Also, there is SO MUCH included when getting a puppy: up to date vaccinations, microchip placed in all puppies, and a year long puppy training program. read more

If you pay a deposit, expect your puppy to be given to someone else. We paid our deposit and were promised that the puppy was ours for 24 hours, unless we failed to show up at 10 AM sunday and finalise. On saturday around 11 AM, we were given a call stating that the puppy had been sold to someone else and we would be receiving a refund! We were attending an event over an hour away, and paid the deposit for the reason that we would not be able to pick up the puppy for 24 hours due to that event. The lady on the phone (courtney I believe?) began shaming us for going to the event that had been planned and paid for for weeks, saying that the puppy was more important and needed to be picked up right away or they would give him to someone else, completely breaking and disregarding our 24 hour agreement. As we were trying to report this behaviour, we came across some sketchy things about the puppy store that you could find online yourself. This was a very sad experience as we truly fell in love with and fought for the dog, but after all of the terrible service we could not feel comfortable going through with it. Overall, terrible customer service and we would NOT recommend you give your money and time to this business!!! read more

The store is very clean. The puppies all look healthy, happy, and beautiful. All enclosures for the puppies are clean and smell nice. I took a star off because the prices of the puppies were enormous and out of budget for me and the majority of most people I know. The staff were cordial and answered my questions. Employees were very rude. Didn't catch names but they were working on 11/09/2020 at 6pm at the Vineyard UT location. They were on their phones in front of customers gossiping and face-timing other people. When we asked questions about certain dogs seemed very annoyed and answered rudely. Also told us we couldn't hold certain puppies then continued to grab and hold and carry around those same puppies around whole store. When we asked to hold a puppy they told us no unless we were going to buy, which how do I know if I want to buy a puppy if I don't get to play with it before hand. We have never had a problem playing with them before at other locations/other employees as we've been searching for the perfect puppy for us, until tonight. Was really considering buying a puppy but with the disrespect from these employees I will be going else where. read more
